This was a blast! My beagle got 100. The towel test tripped him up in the most hilarious way. He bunched up the towel when he sniffed around and made the decision that chewing through the towel was the best choice 😂😂

This is our 3rd beagle in 20 years, our new beagle is a lemon and white beagle, our first was a rescue, 2nd 3month old, and honey is now a year old, she scored 80 on the IQ test, lot of fun!

One suggestion I'm not sure about beagle grooming ,video on that topic would be much helpfull.
The topic must cover about time interval of nail cutting,ear cleaning,bath,teeth brushing,hair combing and any other grooming advice if you wish to convey

My Charlie scored 120. I'm not sure if other beagle owners have noticed this with their dogs, but mine understands some words. For example, if someone has finished eating when he's begging, he understands the words "all gone." He also knows "Milk Bone," "get your bear (his favorite toy)," and "ooga booga," which means bedtime.
My Misty understands one word: food.

I tried the test with our beagle while she was on my mom's bed with her favorite snack and she seemed uninterested, or just is plain lazy and used to my mom just handing out the treats all the time for no reason because I know the dog is smart. Any advice??

With the couch one...What if he knows it's there and verbally demands it by AWOOOOing you into submission and you end up getting the treat, not because he couldn't, why should he when YOU should get it?

My beagle, takes towels and covers himself, then runs around growling. Food test: shoves chair to counter and takes food. If the treats under the couch are too far back he makes his slave get it by barking and pulling my pant leg. So far his intelligence is higher than mine.

Try taking him out on walks daily. You need to make him use to various sounds and smell. I would suggest you to talk with your vet or a dog trainer about this problem.

Covering your beagle with a towel is just mean. And when he lays down and doesnt try or want to do it, I think he should get 100 Points. In your test a beagle that scores zero points is very intelligent, he just cant be bothererd and makes his own decisions.
