I flew with Air China a couple of days ago, (LHR- Peking-MNL return). Their 777 and A330 had seen better days , the entertainment system sometimes doesn’t work.the A350 is a breath of fresh air, more specious and bright, but in fairness Air China’s cabin crew are good and attentive. But in general I’m not complaining whatsoever the fare is cheap, A to B safe and sound 😊..
Thanks for sharing, Rappy! Yeah absolutely, part of their fleet is rather old. I remember flying LHR-PEK a few years ago and the hard product was pretty bad. The service from the crew was spot on though! Thanks for watching 😊
Hey there! That’s lovely! I’m sure you’ll have a great time in Japan. Let me know how you find your experience with Air China! Thanks a lot for watching ✈️😊
I traveled to Japan with air China. It was great! Flight was super long but the crew was on top, food great, very comfortable, movies fine. All in all I recommend to everyone!
I ll make it quick here: Flight from SZX to FRA Economy A330 Cabin, extremely old, partly damaged and very narrow seats. Armrest for some seats (including mine) cannot be moved. People taller than 1,80m or even a little overweight cannot sit comfortably in these. Crew was friendly and welcoming. Food was not bad at all.
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience! Similar to mine when I flew long haul with them a while ago. They need to improve their hard product quite a bit. They now have the A350s, which should be a lot better - hope I can test them soon! 😊✈️
I absolutely love air china I fly with it every time I go to china it’s so nice crew and I personally love the food and it can take up to 11 hours from Sweden to china😅 hearts4airchina
Recently, I've taken 4 flights with Air China and nobody checked the in-flight luggage weight limit, although I was carrying backpack only (which was around 10kgs). Besided that, I could also have 2 checked-in luggages of 23 kg each.
Hey there! Thanks for watching! Yes, they seem very relaxed when it comes to policing their very strict baggage policy. It does happen with other airlines too but you never know when they might start getting serious with the checks! Safe travels! 😊✈️
@@comfytravelsI think it’s stricter if you are flying a domestic flight, it’s really depends on the fare class. But They offer 2*23kg checked bags for all international flights even with lowest fare class I believe.
Hey there! Thanks for watching! I suggest that you check the confirmation email carefully. It should specify what’s included and the maximum weight of the bags. If the weight allowance for that bag you mention is over 20kg, it very likely is a checked bag (on top of your carry-on). Hope that helps! Safe travels 😊✈️
Hi! I'm not one to comment, but I have a question, when You say you have to sign a document saying that you don't have in your checked bag battery, you mean you can't have a power bank in the baggage or specifically batteries? I don't understand, cause I've heard that with this airline there are some sort of a problem with the power banks and such things. Thank you in advance for answering!
Hey there! You cannot have anything that has a battery in your checked bags, such as power banks, iPads, laptops, vapers etc. They are super strict, so make sure you put all those items in your carry-on before getting to the airport. Hope that helps! Thanks a lot for watching 😊✈️
Hey there! Did you book directly with Air China? Sometimes online check-in doesn’t work if you book via a travel agent. It’s happened to me in the past. Don’t worry though! You should be able to get your boarding pass at the airport. Let me know how it goes! Safe travels! 😊
Did you book your flight through Air China directly or a 3rd party? I booked via 3rd party. I'm having a nightmare locating my flight through the Air China app.
I booked it through a third party too, but I didn’t have any issues locating my booking. It’s always a pain to book flights and trains in China as a foreigner 😭
I am frist time travelling to air china. I want to travel from Dhaka to busan, South korea. Could anyone can tell me the baggage limit of air china airline? Thanks in advance
Hi 👋 I will be flying with air china this April and have a connecting flight from Beijing to Copenhagen. Do they allow a small personal bag (it’s for my phone and other tiny stuff) aside from the 1 hand carry luggage rule?
Hey there, Shana! Depends on your class of travel. In Economy, in theory, you can only carry up to one bag. Based on my experience, if you bring a small backpack or purse, they will rarely say anything. Hope this helps! Safe travels ✈️😊
Does anyone know about transit connections and visas? Im from the UK. Flying to Japan. With air China. We connect in Shanghai. Do we need visas or can you go off one plane and onto another. No paperwork needed? Any help or advice will be much appreciated ❤❤❤
U don’t even have a hot meal or any meal for free in Europe or domestic North America including flight to Hawaii which is over 6 plus hours, can’t understand why u are still complaining
Why you complaining, Air China is very good, check in is crap like the majority of the airlines The food is on point and the staff are really friendly, your a hater
@@bryant4422 Why compare with European or domestic North American flights, you should compare with the best ones - Asian and middle-eastern airlines. With your thinking, it's a race to the bottom, not to the top. We should tell them so they can improve. Else, they wont do anything.
@@GCSEMathsMastery-GMM You're the hater. You don't like these types of comments. Bet you only like all-praises. In fact, we should tell them the good and the bad so they can improve. I can tell you pointblank that Air China's entertainment selection is very limited, compared with other airlines. Do you know why?!!! I bet you don't. I'll tell you. In China, only 36 foreign films can be shown in a given year - it's a regulation. Even airlines should operate within that regulation, else they'll be breaking the law. Local Air China routes only have the common screen for viewing, no individual screen.
@@kc5373 Thats not the point, your going away on your own tangent with entertainment. I never mentioned entertainment, only you did, now, in that comment that im replying to. Besides who neds entertainment on a 4 hour flight anyway? Air travel is a luxury in itself and the food is amazing. Yes movies are limited. Its china, a communist country you dummy of course there are going to be limited movies... Look at North Koreas Air koryo. No screens at all. Isnt that a given bit of common sense that a communist government owned airline sint obviously going to have movies? Screw your head on right

This is the same with most airlines nowadays
Airlines are afraid of exploding batteries, hence the requirement to put batteries in your carry on, not your check in baggage.
