  • These tunes are pretty much all played in Cajun tuning (DGCF smallest to largest) which is one whole step down from standard tuning (EADG). Each string is called out by its standard tuning name.

    Another Fantastic Tutorial. Loved it. Now I know when I get with my Jam group I must specify "I'm Seconding". I guess that's where I am. That's Okay

    Mitch, you seem to be using quite a bit of tension on your bow, judging by the distance between the bow stick and the hair. Am I correct, or is this just the way your bow is haired?

      Cajuns use a tighter bow tension so we can dig in more and be louder than the accordion.
