We head for Namibia in this three part overlanding adventure and exploration series.
In episode 1, we travel from South Africa, into Botswana, and head all the way up North to enter the Caprivi Strip into Namibia. Our destination for this episode is the spectacular Epupa falls, in the far North West.
What an achievement for the three Muskateers, and, so many magic moments that we will never forget.
This is one of those series you simply don't want to miss as we enjoy an adventure to new and far off places, in Southern Africa.

oh, yes , i was at epupa falls in Februar 23 and it was 40 Grad hot on the last camping ground right had, alone, no guests. the road to swartboisdrift was broken by flood after 70 KM so we retuned to epupa. OH what a nice country. Peter, germany

Toyota is the best easy to
Fix too honestly I have 4 runners using 3 decades different models can use 250k np
Epupa is actually easy to reach depending from the direction you coming, but for the adventure purists like you,,, the rough track excels better..

My hilux does the same thing , I fill it up go shopping and go back and fill up again . Absolutely love Namibia❤ Great job guys

Would have liked a bit more camp time. Breakfast chats,around the fire etc.

Once again, an hour very well spent on a Friday evening. I even abandoned the Pub for this. Glad I did. The falls and drone shots made it and the fresh new territory to explore must have been special for you all. I am looking forward to my next S.A. trip, J'burg next Friday then Kruger the following Thursday.

Was on the Kunene between Epupu and the sea. Went over to the Angola side for a bit but had to be careful. Old land mines.

Shkowei river lodge is lovely...however I much prefer Ngepi river lodge further up.. of not more beautiful with Grass campsites.....wonderful there...however they all beautiful...those sunsets and the bird life...just wow
If I had to choose I’d choose Shakawe over Ngepi. Ngepi’s become very commercial and I much prefer the Shakawe region over Divundu.

Glad to hear the roads in Namibia are still amazing. Was so in 1993 ;).
The wider ones were done that way so that military aircraft could land on them back when the place was SW Africa and troops had to be moved around quickly ;).
