    38:50 You´ve been pretty lucky with this Elefant... encounters like that easiely can end fatal. Driving down Ugab as a single car allso is not the best idea. Anyway you´ve been lucky and made it.. drove down Ugab some 34 years ago with friends - that`s one of the great adventures you can do in Namibia not each and every tourist does. 42:34 I see you came up D2303 but then had to change to D2342 round Brandberg to white lady.. How was the D2342 to drive? Pretty rough or ok?

      Yes, was definitiv a good thing the Elephant was very relaxed after the first encounter.
      Regarding the riding into the Ugab, you always have to be careful. We did have food and water for multiple days, in combination with the satellite communication, we would have been alright even with mechanical problems or getting stuck.
      Plus, people did know where we were and would have checked on us if we wouldn’t have been in contact.
      But definitely always something to be mindful of and be careful.
      As far as I can remember, the D2342 wasn’t any worse than any of the other roads we had around there, but it’s been a while now, so don’t know it in details

    Very awesome video! We'll be back to southern Africa in December again, for the 2nd time ♥
    I wonder, are all the songs you used royalty free? I often even had problems with "official royalty free" ones in my clips i did -.- Where did you get them?

      Yes it was, I tried to revitalise the desert, it don’t work…
      I get all my music from Artlist, that covers all the royalties of the music they provide

    Hello , your video is amazing!!! I’m going to Namibia in two months ! Is it easy to take my drone with me ?

      Your going to have an Amazing trip!
      Taking a Drone is not a problem, you just have to register with the Namibian drone authority and go trough their aprovement process.
      Make sure you do it on time, because it can take some time.

      Yes, I noticed the same thing, I am still trying to figure out if there is a way to use FCP to make it all the same volume somehow.
      At least something to work on for next time :)

      @@Dutch-Moto-Venture you can detach audio from the clips. Then adjust the music volume.

    Did you have to get a permit for your drone?

      The short answer is yes, you do.
      Rules may change, but as of my knowledge, for now you have to register your drone with the agency of the country you live in and do the required courses (Depending on the size of your drone)
      In Namibia you have to apply for permission to fly. They usually want to know when, where and what you are filming for how long. This means you have to plan it all in advance.
      Under normal circumstances you are not allowed to film in any of the national parks or game reserves. Some private parks may give you permission if you request a flight in their park.
      Make sure that If you use a drone in Namibia or anywhere else with animals that you don't disturb any of the animals or people. This will make it a lot easier to get permission and for future flyers to get permission to :)

      @@Dutch-Moto-Venture thank you for the reply. We are heading to Namibia soon but without a drone. So many places (worldwide) don’t allow them or have strict regulations (as they should). Great videos btw, loved watching them
