Really enjoyed the video, not many vids showcasing "easy" routes. Helped me out as I'm trying to find roads to take the wife and kids on since we are a solo jeep
Glad you liked it. I agree that there are not many depicting easier rides. There a spot or 2 that is a bit more but still on the easy scale. "Bald Rock Fork " has two ways to go. this ride goes to the right. I'll be doing another at another time that goes to the left. Hell Creek is by far the easiest of them all in my opinion. Enjoy!
My dad myself and my 2 sons did the less rugged half of this route a few weeks ago. Would love to go on the more rugged parts. My truck shouldn’t have a problem. Tacoma with 3 in lift and 33s with a winch.
Cave Fork some call a short section in the middle fixer, this is an older video when I was learning the trails. Cave Fork stay right at the oil Derrick to stay on cave fork then on out Cave Fork ridge it runs into a smooth section of New Virginia out to 498.
Really haven't had much rain lately and has been dry so a little rain is not much of a problem. Cave fork and left onto Bald rock generally speaking are always easy. If you follow Cave Fork on out the worse spot would be the creek crossing but it has had a new bridge built and is narrow. I just did the full Cave Fork this past weekend with my wife and it was at worse a 2-2.5 on my scale of 1-10. However I always suggest you don't go alone your first time. These are 2 of the most common trails for beginners. When you go and/or get ready to go, let me know as I may be in the area and can take you.
Yes, *most* stock 4x4s can do this trail. However, I'd never do a trial alone at least the first time. A lot can happen with weather. I've seen stock Tacoma, Jeep even Subaru. I would not try it in a crossover suv, water is below a foot deep and there are rocks you need to work around. I'd rate this a 2-3 on a scale of 10, with a gravel road at a 1.
You should not have any problems at this time, again if you haven't ran it I would not do it alone the first time. On this video those steps you refer to dug some dirt on a Tacoma. That spot I refer to where we go down the steep bank, at this time has been fixed, but trails can change quickly.

This is one of my older videos, trail conditions change with the weather and use.
Would love to go riding with you. I’ve done half of this route and would love to do bald rock. Gonna come down in October if you’ll be around?
Yes, we will be around, we'd love to ride with you too.
21:30- what road is that?

@@naturesglorycabin3792 I couldnt understand the fist sentence.
It is Cave Fork Rd. What I meant was some people refer to a asection in the middle as part of Fixer.
20:03 where is that washout?
This washout has been repaired with a lower bridge. It is already seeing some wear but much easier now.
@@naturesglorycabin3792 awesome! Great update!
So im going to assume heavy rain days the creek bed may be unpassable right? I have a stock 22 tacoma offroad and wanna head to dbb for my first time

Could a stock 4x4 do it?
