Thanks for reviewing these! This is esoteric but “Mexica” as a Nahuatl word is to be pronounced as “me-shee-ka” with emphasis on the second syllable, fun fact for when playing :)
Good one! I enjoyed it! And really appreciate the honesty! Thanks :) P.S. Time-lapse clips were awesome. (I wouldn't mind though... If they were even slower, And then shown on the screen even longer.. Because visually, especially with those games - This was very appealing and attractive.. Therefor, it ended up way too soon for me.. Beside that, it was a really neat idea.)
Great rundown and comparison of all 3. Mexica has been in my collection for years and we still play quite regularly. I’ve never played the other 2, so I will likely always be partial to Mexica. But I’ve been wanting to try the others so I’m out here doing research and I found your video very helpful. I’m going with Tikal next based on your video. The exploration sounds fun! New subscriber 👋
I just got Torres, which some people count as being part of or related to this series of games, and I had the old Java once. I've been seeing these games on shelves, and I got curious. This video gave a nice overview of them!

These are games I've always looked at over the years, but never have had a chance to play.
Thanks for the overviews!
