    I’ve watched countless videos and researched even more. I have been a little overwhelmed with my art, printing etc. Fortunately I came across your video! You simplified everything for me (and I’m certain many other’s) extremely well! You’re a multitasking Ninja! You did so much without breaking stride! You’re truly Amazing! Thank you!

    I would sincerely love to see more of your work. The painting of the girl, in a scarf, with, I believe, a red coat? Was gorgeous. Would love to see much more!!
    Thank you!!!

    I'm right there with you. We started our homestead in November of 2018, but I began making Junk journals and crafts this past November. Unfortunately I haven't learned how to balance the two yet. You're artwork is beautiful. I'm a writer, photographer and junk journalist, but my latest passion has been working with paper crafts. I found your channel when looking for others who made their own greeting cards. Thank you for sharing your products with us. Beautiful work!

      Thank you! There’s just not enough time in the day to get all we want done! Each year I see more and more how patience pays off though. Best wishes with your journals and photography! It’s great to have passions like that.

      @@allegrarosebrown238 I completely understand the "not enough time" issue. I too have a garden, chickens, a home to tend to, and if I don't give myself care NOTHING gets done. And thank you for such kind words. I appreciate you! My artwork is hobby really, but your art is genius. Blessings to you!

    Loved your video. I am working on my own greeting cards and prints for this year and didn't know the best and affordable way to do it. So thank you for explaining the printing process, the tools you use and local resources. I'll need to check my local bizz off aswell!

      11:09 how many cards do you print that you know are best sellers? When you launch a new design, do you still sell 10 to 20 cards at a time or do you print a bit more?

    For the first time, I tried to print one of my cartoons to use as a greeting card. It literally took me hours to get one card printed. So I thought I'd better find some how to info before trying again. Do you find it cheaper to use a printing service rather than your own printer? Is your printer a big, national chain by any chance? That's the only one near me and I have sworn off ever using them again. I'm not sure how to even find an independent.

      I can’t remember but it is a pretty common card stock that most print shops carry

    Can you explian the owl? Did you buy that print from online or draw it? Then how do you get it on a greeting card...through imaging and then printing?

    • @allegrarosebrown238
      @allegrarosebrown238  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I drew the owl on paper with graphite, scanned the original onto my computer, made small adjustments to it using photoshop, then ordered prints of that image from a site called “gicleetoday.”

      Thank you! For the actual paintings I just used a 140 pound Canson watercolor paper or Strathmore watercolor paper, and then had the images printed on a basic card stock that my local business center sells.

    Where do you get your plastic sleeves? Are there any recycled options for paper and sleeves that you know of? Thank you.

    • @allegrarosebrown238
      @allegrarosebrown238  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately Amazon, but I am looking for a different option. I just found glassine bags online, those are biodegradable and may work. Check those out. Also, I was thinking I could use the plastic sleeves just for the display card, then use recycled paper sleeves for the cards I sell. This is a great video topic that I will work on soon.

    Hi Allegra, I have drawn and hand painted my own pictures and am trying to make greeting cards for myself to sell like you do. I have a regular go printer scanner, but I need the picture to show up properly on the printer and haven't figured it out yet. I heard you mention photo shop I'm going to look that up too. Any help is appreciated

      It will take a few weeks, but I will try to do a video about how I get my images to look right. Lots going on this season, but I will get a video up as soon as I can.
