- This is my 2008 Smartfortwo passion, before you say I shifted to late it I was in automatic mode however it kept showing the gears, I had the kick down button on the throttle pressed so it would not have changed much :)
GPS confirmed multiple times anywhere from 88-92 and I have hit 94 once going downhill.
These are electronically limited to that speed.
Think about Being passed by a smart car going 90+mph 😂

I've passed a few 18 wheelers at 90mph in a stock ,78 hp smart passion lower the speed to 75-80 after passing
As much as you hate Smart Cars. There is video of Smart Car raping Ford Mustang online running 12.4 seconds at 1/4 mile drag strip...
No matter how UGLY and slow a Smart Cars look, you can't deny laws of physics power to weight ratio. Smart Cars' got the weight advantage for acceleration!!
@@mickzulyevic9882 if Smart Car had like 200 HP I'm sure that would be enough to beat most sports cars...due to how light it is...
I like the wife's Just4Two does nice at 80 if I desire to do so. Acceleration is moderate.

Lol it's surprisingly quick! If it wasn't electronically limited I'm sure it would go about 105-110 flat out unfortunately gps says it will go 88-89mph tops
@@mickzulyevic9882smart cars aren't really that quick...quicker than a Chevy spark/mirage or an insanely heavy 18 wheeler cruising at low speeds...I keep my smart car at around 70-75mph on the freeway...it has alot of drivers side space and my seat is pretty comfy

@@theminicooper oh, yeah, a bolt is way quicker lol. We actually put a bolt against a tesla model 3 sr+ and it keeps up very easily... at least until around 50ish. Also the tesla tops off closer to 130 or 140 iirc.

I just got a 2015 fortwo passion and so far love it. Sure it aint the fastest thing but who cares. I love the smiles i get and the fuel mileage!
How high of rpm’s does it reach
I believe just over 6k if I remember correctly
My ear dyno is telling me that upshifts are occurring just past 6500rpm

There is video of Smart Car killing Mustang at 1/4 mile drag strip. Running at 12.4 seconds...Smart Cars looks like turd I agree. But no matter how ugly a car looks you can't deny laws of physics and power to weight ratio. Smart Cars got the weight advantage...if it has the power of a Mustang it probably be the quickest 4 wheel vehicles in the planet....
