I've made several different macaron recipes from you, every single one was a hit. I made this recipe and omg, it was over the top amazing. I made them just like you did yours, gold leaf and all. This was next level macaron. 😊 Now I need to sift through your recipe for an oreo macaron that I'll be making for my nephew's bday this weekend. Excellent recipe! i made these for my friends and family. They were rich, decadent, and delicious. The hazelnut topping for the shells did come out a bit too thick for me, but I believe it's because I didn't melt my chocolate enough or crush my hazelnuts enough. Other than that, this was a wonderful recipe and I will definitely make again!
When I tried using your measurements for ganache it turned out very liquidy! It didn’t thicken even after 20 minutes in the fridge.. I’ve heard from other bakers that for dark chocolate the ratio to cream should be 2:1 (double the chocolate to cream).
Camila, I can’t wait to try this! I never used the gold sheets before. Does it not need anything to stick to? You just press it down with the brush and it sticks?

Can you share a link for the chocolate you use in your macarons there’s so many different options out there!
I use callebaut amzn.to/37wqqpm this is the dark chocolate they have milk too, I use their white chocolate also and the gold chocolate

As you can see on the video this ratio clearly works for me 🤷♀️ maybe use the 2:1 ratio if that works better for you ☺️

It will stick on the chocolate pretty easily, cause the chocolate is not necessarily dry.
