Those games just aren’t geared towards stealth unfortunately. It is possible but it feels tacked on and not the way the developers wanted you to play it. Plus how tf do you do the conquest battles and boss fights via stealth? So many times in Valhalla you’re thrown into open combat environments where it’s far less time-consuming to slash everyone with your Viking axe because doing it stealthy is either not possible or it would make an already too-long game feel longer and it just doesn’t feel rewarding at all. Oh you can blend into crowds to get through city gates now? Why should I waste my time doing that when I can just scale this small wall instead? I agree actually. I think the weapons and armour that are like animated or glow are super dope, but it’s also super jarring when this is supposed to be set in the distant past. I usually avoid them during the main story so I don’t have a goofy looking axe that looks like lava’s coming out of it while something super serious is happening lol
@@Zlittlepenguin yeah, those isu armors are looking good... but if it was cyberpunk. looks goofy ass when youre in cutscene and you are straight up iron man viking from scifi and no one gives a shit
I finished this game pretty late and I did most of it with the mentor of alamut set. I mostly use at George armor or paladin set now just roaming finishing up finding artifacts and mysteries. But I still play more like an assassin. I only resort to melee combat when I have to do a raid or something
Vote Ubisoft for company that owns the game with the most aggressive ladder climbing animation ever.
😂😂
A Levantine Hidden One working on England. Most interesting.
Very
I really miss AC when it was about blending into crowds, being invisible while right in front of the guards faces, etc.
As do i
Avast- Your Computer is Fully Secured
Meanwhile Avast - 0:12
XD
How unfortunate. I had such high hopes for this game too. To see it in this state now that the live updates are done is just heart wrenching. Here’s to hoping to Mirage
Its so sad

""Not getting away from meee""

😂
0:12 that kill would never work back in the AC glory days. They'd see you hanging on the fence
too true
Bro I wish the guards in unity/syndicate were as blind as the first guy when you try to ledge assassinate
Love this outfit 😮💨🔥
same its so cool
0:10
I like how he just DONT GIVE A FU*K :D
Such a cool outfit but of course it's released at the very end. The coolest outfit in the game and the only one that give's off Assassin vibes. And the add it after the game has been completed
So lame they release it so late
This video is amazing. All I’ve been seeing about the rpg style games is crying about how you can’t be stealthy and it’s not an AC game meanwhile we have people like you doing this. It may not be the same stealth or fail of other games but you still have the choice
choice is defo there
That first kill at 0:12 cracked me up at the fact that the guy couldn't see Eivor standing directly infront of him while he was hiding behind a 2x4 hahahaha
Sweet plays though. I made a save account and started a new game 2 days ago just because I was Bored of not having much to do. Went from 537 to (currently) lvl 31. I miss all the power but am having a lot of fun again
so glad ur having fun
Finally an AC game that lets you assassinate someone by hanging from the wall and jumping down. Also shooting the bow from the haystack is a great addition imo
I like the bow in this game. I still miss the counter grab system with chain kills though it was so easy in ac2 to execute 100 enemies lol. I don't like the dps dodge roll meta.
It's a lot like the throwing knife that auto locks instead of free aim
that last kill was cold 🥶
;)
2:33 How did you assassinate that fast? I didn't know it was possible in this game.
When theyre very close u can
@@AltairStealth ok, thanks
Atreus of Midgard, all grown up, and dispensing Justice across the Realms. 😎
Love this game. Dont get the slander cause you choose how to play. So many styles of gameplay
These are always so satisfying to watch..
Best outfit in the game! I just started a new play through and the shared history mission becomes available pretty early! So I got the outfit and am now playing the rest of the game + DLCs with it! It’s so good!
Such a good outfit
@@AltairStealth What outfit is it?
@@AltairStealth where fid u get this outfit
Who tf says outfit in 2022 🤣🤣 it's a fucking cloak
@@christianalexander579 Look again
Never ceases to amaze me how Ubisoft still hasn’t figured out the physics of a pile of hey and the human body.
so? are they just gonna remove one of the most iconic thing in the assassin's creed franchise?
Lighten up it’s a joke.
im surprised they only take one arrow to die, usually in these new assassins creed games, the enemies are bullet sponges
people forget about game settings so they complain
love the playstyle!
Thank you!
Still friggin unbelievable that there's pretty much no cloth simulation in this game.
And it's always doubly mind blowing when one remembers that in this game almost every outfit came with a cape.
Capes...most of them are disgustingly bad...there are some wider ones that literally make crouching eivor look like my grandmother
0:13 Guard: I should pretend like I don’t see him
😂
A true assassin😍
always
Viking*
@@Fck_the_atf He play like an assassin even tho its not an ac game
@@Fck_the_atf Vikings were still assassins - historically speaking.
@Stealthful most of the time it doesn't feel like that
2:14 A 200+ pound guy just landed on a branch the size of a twig. Average assassins creed moment
Typical
I'm curious if you turned on guarteed assassinations to make the stealth more akin to the old games, and not having to use to runes on it, or if you did this without that. I'm seriously impressed if you did it without the setting.
I do it without guaranteed assassination simply because i quite like the quicktime minigame
it hurts just to look at the parkour of this wonderful game
I'm so glad I saved up the Paris DLC for later. I can play it with the best outfit of the game now😍
Smart
I love how every assassin's creed game has to have some kind of haystack kill
(except for odyssey not bad just doesn't have haystack kills)
If you combine the new cloak with the night rogue ashen set it looks awesome 😎😎😎
good idea ;)
@@AltairStealth could you use it in your next video
when I discovered the whole jumping while shooting an arrow I was so hyped. It is soo cool....
same
Crazy how you need to grind for like 80 hours just to be able to play this game like assassins creed
Yeah it sucks
no you actually dont and plus it makes sense not being able to play like a assassin straight away since the game is set around vikings
@@tay-k3734 then dont call it an assasins creed game and try to tie it in to your franchise. If it was just a viking adventure game called valhalla I would have enjoyed it.
@@DirtballJones it's assassin's creed it ties in to the story especially the modem day stuff
@@Dragoboi1998 I mean the gameplay. You cannot play valhalla stealthily like an actual assassin, until very late in the game.
you made this game look like it's fun
How can I get this outfit?
Feels like an entirely different game. Especially when i try to parkour in this gam sometimes and they just go in the complete different direction to where i was facing ...
In Valhalla you can be always stealthy in your approach it just get boring over time considering how huge this game is. A lot of things can be solved in this game by brutally murdering everyone.
Yes, although stealth is a somewhat broken mechanic in this game, it still helps you out on earlier stages of the game. After that you just overpower everyone (on normal difficulties at least).
Yeah i dont like that
Same with the old games counter attack kill chains that insta kill everyone lol you forget about them😂
@@Igvga In the old game missions and objectives all make you play more stealth oriented, this is not the case for Valhalla
@@Jonnell01 no they don’t they allow it but besides the forced stealth all missions in the old games were far easier to run in counter attack and kill massive groups
@@Jonnell01 plus there are multiple missions even in the more og tittles were you were forced into full combat just take the rose tinted glasses off
This is the best video out there showing how Ac ValHalla should be played, but I can't help but notice the super powers they gave the main character. I mean, the guy is jumping 15 feet like nothing and climbs walls like spiderman, or Tallion from shadow of war, and pulls himself up a wall like if he weighs 5 kilos lol
Even watching the stealth gameplay, i cant see this as an assassin's creed game.
That's a shame man, it's a really good ac game
Because you've been blinded by the hundreds of negative opinions people have left online. You can go ahead and mass murder dozens of people in ac 1 and ezio trilogy easily as well, and you can play as a stealth assassin in newer ac games, people who say assassin game's combat have changed are straight up lying lmao.
came across this and instant subscribe.
Nice! Welcome!
