Majority of AC players play super chaotic, with a lot of nonsense and combat in between (myself included, AC is just like Far Cry to me, a huge sandbox for nonsense). But Unitys combat is godawful because it wants to force you into stealthing. Unity has *amazing* parkour and stealth, no question. But looking at „fun“ potential, the new games just have so much more with all the cool combat moves, abilities and everything.

The amount of tools ezio had in brotherhood is insane. We’re talking hidden gun,poison darts,smoke bombs,throwing knives that can multi-kill,assassins he can send to kill targets out of reach,arrow storm to punch holes in encampments,courtesans, theives and mercenaries. Ezio truly was a master assassin in this game.(I forgot he can throw spears,two handed swords and axes).(edit2: bruh how did I forget the crossbow rip).

Ac2 to(skipping 3) origins just has better stealth mechanics than valhalla.
I think the first clip is the most in line with what a canon Assassin does. The way he blends and kills from within the running crowd is absolutely masterful. Nobody watching from a short distance away could have seen those kills, they're perfectly disguised. Peak cinematic gameplay, the kind of thing that usually only happens in the cinematic trailers for these games
Unity had its bugs and its problems but the story and the gameplay, the world and the crowds of people just caught on to me, i always defended that game from the start and i love to see that this game is getting the love it deserves
For the plot...man, i wish arno could get married with Elise, that was such a huge letdown for me, and they can't even find Germain's body because it's indistinguishable from the other skeletons in the catacombs. The moves arno could do was a huge step forward compared to 4 (the previous one i played) and the weapons were good as well. A huge variety of choices to be made on how to engage the target. Overall the gameplay is good, story not so much and the bugs are still there, a few, but they haven't gone away completely
The story is on par with syndicate, really bad. The story get shit after Bellec's death, arno never hunt charles dorian's killer and instead he hunt germain for the rest of the game. Man literally goes from Assassin to someone wearing Assassin's robe; even tho in the end he become Master Assassin, either he actually is become master or it's just a costume name
It's always seeing high level gameplay like this because it looks the most accurate to how assassins are depicted in the games. Stylish, efficient, and ruthlessly clearing out numerous targets within seconds

Crazy how many Unity clips there are. Imo Unity feels like the peak of assassin's creed. Tho it has bugs but it still feels fluid and smooth. The kills are satisfying to watch.
Does is still have bugs? 3 years ago i played it for around 35% of synchronization and havent found any major ones. At the premiere it was disaster tho
I bought Unity several months after it was released on ps4. I bought the disc and never downloaded any patches, and only encountered maybe one or two bugs after months of playtime, nothing game breaking though. Maybe I'm just lucky eh.
@@blazzinga595 If you're looking past gameplay only and taking Ezio's morals into account.. when you poison somebody they attract a crowd and then draw their sword and attack people, and guards track throwing knives but not darts, you could definitely argue Ezio would use the poison to distract the two closest guards and once they were incapacitated he'd finish the job on the farther soldier without ever risking innocents or going out of his way. Smoothest gameplay? Not totally. Good RP? Definitely.
3:41 is the most hilarious kill i have seen among all these clips, i laughed out loud. He pulled one into the bomb, took the advantage of factions and then killed the last by calling assassin
I love it when the shadow of Arno is frozen when you assassinate someone as they spot you, it's like.. a painted picture while in action You get what I mean?

5:21 I did over 10 playthroughs of Brotherhood and i just realised you can throw smoke bombs at a specific guard instead of just throwing it at your feet.........
I played Unity a year after it came out so I didn’t play with all the bugs and glitches, but it’s my favorite so far I love everything about it the exploration was fantastic the parkour was the best I think, And the story was phenomenal. I think another part y I love it so much is the time and history it’s set in, I think that makes the game more fun to me.
Not only do we see more creative gameplay, you can tell that people are still rocking on with AC, feel like these vids should be coming in weekly, it'd make a good challenge for everyone playing the games 😁

Unity was the best game that Ubisoft came out with. I haven’t had bugs in the game I played and I know other people have, but it’s too good now to ignore. Wish Ubisoft would bring assassins creed back to a game like that
one time in Odyssey I had 5 different mercenaries all higher level than me (3 in the red) as well a an entire fortress after me the only reason I survived was because I knew how to dodge fairly well & the healing ability
I love how Valhalla finally perfectly balanced Assassin's sneak gameplay with the brutal combat and rpg mechanics. All these footages looked good but these from Valhalla and some from Unity were the best.
Glad to see somebody that enjoys valhalla as much as i do, i love valhalla and odyssey, im still getting into origins tho havent played it too much, but the mythology based was a nice change of pace for me, the ezio trilogy will always be my favorites but gotta love being able to personalize an "assassin". Ive turned my Eivor into a stealth monster, especially with the play dead ability, unfortunately im on console so i cant send clips and i cant get them to upload

I think my favorite goes to Dark_Eternal at 3:40. Those are the kind of antics I enjoy the most. Anyone that plays AC enough should be able to wipe entire forts without being seen, but that was some ruthless, chaotic creativity and I’m here for it!

Maybe something to add to mirage is enemy’s can detect your shadow for example if your stand above them on a roof and your shadow is showing on the edge of the roof they turn around or become suspicious
I wouldn't trust corpos to innovate in this day and age. Where they're doing the "safest" and most boring they can. If Mirage returns to the roots, I'm happy. Hope it's not yet another bait and switch tho.
Ac Revelations is my favorite game and Ottoman Janissaries at 1:21 are the most annoying enemies , and in groups these guys can make you retreat and flee. Killing them with such ease and technique is pure skill . AC players surely have become true Assassins in their minds 😁.Hats off to kinography

Hey man that was some great gameplay! It's nice to see the community coming together for this. It's really been a good year for us as a community, and here's to a another great year in 2023.
These AC games are some of the most unchallenging games I've ever played. Not hard when enemies just stand around waiting on you to kill them, even when you're detected and they group up...just stand there and wait your turn to be killed. Most games AI needs a major overhaul...AI still acting like it's the year 2000.
Aww, too bad I didn't know about this. I just went through an exercise recording myself for the first time playing both AC3 and AC3R with a particular emphasis on trying to get through all 7 forts unseen, and some of it was done with all the grace and beauty of a ballerina trying to synchronize swim with an untrained, hungry, angry, and exceptionally fat hippo. (Need to go back and re-record a lot of it, though, because I only realized after trying to capture footage for two months straight that I wasn't recording in 60fps or particularly good video quality, either.)

I still think unity was the most ambitious game ubisoft ever made and it shows. Still looks amazing to this day and if given proper care, would have been THE best assassins creed
Even tho unity wasn’t my favorite on release (still isn’t) I completely understand why everyone loves it, and there’s a good reason why almost all the clips here are from unity
What I miss about Assassin’s Creed is the atmosphere. Music could be heard even when you’re just wandering the streets, and the people would scream and shout or just comment on your obnoxious climbing and pushing. This was done really well in all of Ezio’s games especially, and Altair’s. Now the games feel exhausting and boring. You have to get on your horse and run for miles without anything to listen to except the repetition of your horse’s feet. It’s a lot like GTA with no radio, it’s boring and wouldn’t be like GTA; but once you start playing that radio whilst driving to your target: you feel like Tom Cruise in Top Gun as you ride down the streets of Los Santos to Danger Zone.
We need a game w ac2’s blueprint, Cinematics and special assassinations when killing last enemy of combat, hidden wrist gun, ezios hook in revelations. We just don’t get that level of badassery anymore
Dark enternal's Assasin creed 3 clip shows how much potiental the rope dart has. Imagine if it was like the mortal kombat scorpion "get over here" weapon , instead of a ammo based. It would be so fun to use.Loved hanging people from Trees
this may be biased because its the first ever assassins creed game i’ve played and i’m a sucker for the french revolution, but unity seems like one of the best out of the franchise. i’m planning on playing the 3rd next.

darkstealth0827's smoke attack at 4:35 had me excited. I was fully expecting just the sound of 5 assassinations in the smoke and when the smoke clears there are just bodies. Still a nice move though.
My best and favourite kill was in AC2. I killed one of the big brute guys and then picked up his weapon, launched it at another guy and as he died his body spasmed out and killed the last 3 guys around him. I was in stitches
i hate assassinations where the assassin jumps onto the floor, knocking over the target and killing them. apart from the tomahawk floor kills, they're satisfying
if we're talking kill speed then I've gotten 11 kills in 13-14 seconds. I swear they just lined up for me. The coolest kill I ever got was jumping off a REEEEEALLY tall building in brotherhood right onto the heads of 2 guards. I didn't even know they were down there to be honest, but I was mashing buttons so he'd grab onto something because I missed my leap of faith. lol
At least some people showed how great the stealth was in RPG games. The stealth in all the games is pretty good if you actually play the assassin style in them.

imagine the new open world ac that has parkour and stealth similar to unity the range of weapons similar to brotherhood fighting mix of old and modern so it is polished and more cinematic and a really good story that is not bloated 20 30 hours max

Shay's Air Rifle way too much fun to use. I literally cleared every fort, settlement, and outpost without being detected once becuz of it. Rogue pretty underrated imo

Ac Revelations is my favorite game and Ottoman Janissaries at 1:21 are the most annoying enemies , and in groups these guys can make you retreat and flee. Killing them with such ease and technique is pure skill . AC players surely have become true Assassins in their minds 😁.Hats off to kinography

These AC games are some of the most unchallenging games I've ever played. Not hard when enemies just stand around waiting on you to kill them, even when you're detected and they group up...just stand there and wait your turn to be killed. Most games AI needs a major overhaul...AI still acting like it's the year 2000.
So cool of you to feature these, and it's also fun to compare the games slightly different approaches.

Aww, too bad I didn't know about this. I just went through an exercise recording myself for the first time playing both AC3 and AC3R with a particular emphasis on trying to get through all 7 forts unseen, and some of it was done with all the grace and beauty of a ballerina trying to synchronize swim with an untrained, hungry, angry, and exceptionally fat hippo. (Need to go back and re-record a lot of it, though, because I only realized after trying to capture footage for two months straight that I wasn't recording in 60fps or particularly good video quality, either.)

I never realised how many ways you can kill people in Brotherhood.
What I miss about Assassin’s Creed is the atmosphere.
Music could be heard even when you’re just wandering the streets, and the people would scream and shout or just comment on your obnoxious climbing and pushing.
This was done really well in all of Ezio’s games especially, and Altair’s.
Now the games feel exhausting and boring. You have to get on your horse and run for miles without anything to listen to except the repetition of your horse’s feet.
It’s a lot like GTA with no radio, it’s boring and wouldn’t be like GTA; but once you start playing that radio whilst driving to your target: you feel like Tom Cruise in Top Gun as you ride down the streets of Los Santos to Danger Zone.
that clip 3 bortherhood players knows how to play and especially the True parkour system people don't get.

this may be biased because its the first ever assassins creed game i’ve played and i’m a sucker for the french revolution, but unity seems like one of the best out of the franchise. i’m planning on playing the 3rd next.

So many great mechanics, weapons ,settings, styles. Could have been the best AC if not for all the issues, sadly.

darkstealth0827's smoke attack at 4:35 had me excited. I was fully expecting just the sound of 5 assassinations in the smoke and when the smoke clears there are just bodies. Still a nice move though.

My best and favourite kill was in AC2. I killed one of the big brute guys and then picked up his weapon, launched it at another guy and as he died his body spasmed out and killed the last 3 guys around him. I was in stitches

unity consistantly shining. absolutely unreal
if we're talking kill speed then I've gotten 11 kills in 13-14 seconds. I swear they just lined up for me. The coolest kill I ever got was jumping off a REEEEEALLY tall building in brotherhood right onto the heads of 2 guards. I didn't even know they were down there to be honest, but I was mashing buttons so he'd grab onto something because I missed my leap of faith. lol
I liked pradume's clip the best here. Its just so smooth.

If ac going to continue with the Witcher rpg than they need to add Unity type towns in it that tender to parkour and social stealth along with with the mission in the city’s. The AC games now just feel like I’m completing tasks and not quests.
