I watched this video in hopes I could fix my problem but it did not. My third row seat will fold up but not lock into place. It just falls back down. I can't find any information on how to fix this. Do you have a video or recommendation? Thanks.
On the left seat, when I fold it up like you did at 2:37, just folded, not taking it out, my seat won't lock and stay up. It will fall back down. Is there a fix for this? Thanks

I know this is a pretty old video, but what about the front "claws" one of my seats will not hold the inside one open so you can reinstall it. The left side seat one does stay open and once you get it set in the right place everything works right. The right side seat the left foot/claw does not stay open so it won't go into place and the seat won't open normally.
@@roquegomez9583 No, Supposedly our seat needs a new part, likely a small plastic part. But I mulled over both of the seats for hours trying to find exactly what was missing or wrong and could not figure it out. Also its possible that they do not sell just the small broken part so you would need to buy and then install a whole new cable apparatus as shown in the video. We hardly ever move the seats I dunno how its broken already. The vehicle was bought slightly used, but dang its an Escalade and it was still not a cheap vehicle. I know they do some of this shit on purpose so you gotta spend money to fix stupid shit you should not have to fix. Goodluck, sorry I don't have better news.
great video, but i have a broken cable and for the life of me i cant seem to find the right part!!!! its one of the cables that come off the #2 lever and the cable runs to the front..... gmcpartsonline doesnt really show a clear picture. can you help?
Hey bro, that bracket that locks the seat back in to place is open like you have it up to make extra room but it’s removed. So that bracket is in the wrong position to put it back. And it won’t go back. Can you please help?? Thank you!!
Soo to put the seats back they have to be in the folded “briefcase” position. In that position the bracket will be open, maybe you have them in the open position. Try to closed them and then try to put them in the truck

2010 Chevy Suburban can't get mine to lift out tried both down & up position. So how to you get it to release while it is stuck inside the vehicle?
My seat will only go down if I do what you are doing @8:59 in video. Any ideas on how to fix that? Thanks
your wire is probably out of place or too stretched out, give that a look

You can only take it out in the down position.

Anyone know an expert for third row seats? I can't fold the bottom bracket in (tried pushing lever 2 and folding them back in but they won't catch.
You helped me out foo I ended up using trimmer cord to tie down the safety lock 😂

Were you able to figure out how to get them to fold down? I’ve got one stuck open and it’s in the car so I can’t get it out to troubleshoot.
