But it’s a scummy psychological trick on hella people that love to just say they’re the best at something even if it means paying exaggerated amounts of money. And then they put these scammy tactics into the modes that people find playing to be the most fun. I’m not opposed to blaming the people as well though. If they would just stop playing into it games would start to have to make the gameplay worth spending the extra money.

The real issue is, we are sitting here already talking about next year. We are conditioned to expect a new hockey, baseball, basketball, football, etc game every single year. The issue is yearly releases and our resignation to it. We deserve so much better, genuinely I think the sports community needs to start banning together and letting EA/2K and all the rest of them that we can't tolerate it anymore. I know I'm at my limit with the disrespect that NHL 24 gave us after so much hype. I just wish we were all at that limit to push back on these things. We really deserve better
The game is okay, 6/10 imo. But for every discerning consumer who wants to unplug from the predatory yearly release cycle, there are 5 high schoolers who just don't care and are going to buy the new game no matter what
This will never happen as 85% of sports game players are super casuals who barely play video games in the first place, let alone care enough to make a serious push for change. The best hope you can have is that one day an indie team will be passionate enough to make a quality football game while working around all the extortional licensing landmines (and that people will care enough for it to be financially viable)
Personally I wouldn’t hate it but I would certainly say it’s not a quality game either. It still feels better than madden to play and dynasty mode has been more fun than franchise is in madden.
Well yes and no. When you play franchise mode offline, it takes about 2 years to become the best team and win every single game even with super disadvantageous sliders. In NCAA you cant just lose out and get great players as a result. You have to try and win games to build from the ground up. So it will always be kind of different in that aspect.
Right. because when programs are mediocre for 20 years, lose tons of big games, and choke against the FIUs and Georgia Techs of CFB the stadiums are packed.
Haven’t bought one since FIFA 20 and that was because I was playing Pro Clubs with the boys during the pandemic. Maybe somehow the rumoured FIFA 2K can be good? Well, if Madden is any indicator..

The laziest and most glaring thing I've seen is that in practically the only online H2H mode (outside of creating a custom game with a specific friend), 'Road to CFB Playoff', it lists every single player as a freshman from the state of Alabama when the in-game matchup info pops up.... And because of that, the in-game commentary in that mode calls everyone a freshman. The fact that they haven't even attempted to patch that BS speaks volumes about how little EA Sports cares about their consumers. If it were COD or any other major franchise game, patches would have been put out immediately just to save face. It's truly despicable what these clowns have managed to do with their monopoly on the football genre.
On fc24 your coach has a 1000 different looks why couldn't EA port that over from game to game! If they would incorporate the best parts of all their franchises into a game it could be good

that’s definitely true to an extent. but i don’t think this game deserves too much hate. The game is definitely overhyped and isn’t as good as people say it is, but i don’t really think hype is a reason to dislike or hate. If anything, we should consider the fact that this was meant to have arcade like gameplay or the fact that this game doesn’t have exclusive ncaa football rights. This is the first year back and they had 2 and a half - 3 years to work on this game. I see lots of effort and lots of laziness carried on from ea as usual. I think we should definitely judge this game and college football devs off of what they do in the coming years, like maybe things that are confirmed for cfb 26, but we don’t know yet. The biggest problem with that is madden has had lots of time to improve and has from madden 17-2025, but that isn’t hard to do like at all, since the bar was so low. I’m very questionable about this new version of the cfb games and I just hope the devs don’t carry the same laziness year by year as the madden team does. it has potential and the bar is actually right in the middle for upcoming games. Maybe they can change the scoreboard, have dynamic weather, high school, mascot mode, more mascots, better teambuilder features (creating a player sucks), etc. If they have all of that at the very least, I think the game will rise exponentially. My point is, I really just don’t know how much an ea game can improve in a year of time, considering how little madden changes year by year.

I think this game can be summed up with, “it’s good, but…” It has a bunch of the same issues as Madden due to the frostbite engine not being good for physics, but you can see that the devs cared about their product, and the gameplay not being sluggish makes it a lot of fun despite some pretty big issues.
You give the Madden/CFB devs time, they can make a truly great game. The problem is they are strapped for that and, frankly, CFB was also probably a better game bc they didn’t have to develop for the PS4 and Xbox One still

With everything EA has shown us with Madden, why are we praising them for the bare minimum with this when they had HOW LONG to blow this out of the water? Yet all they gave y'all, was something that is BARELY above Madden. If you put it up against the last two NCAAs, it falls well short of the marker. At this stage with the hardware and software, we should be looking at way more than what we're getting out of these games. College Hoops 2K7 had a full on recap show in its Legacy Mode. EA hasn't had one since The Extra Point which was in Maddens 10 and 11 for the PS3. Once EA figured out they could make major bank by putting out the bare minimum and having folks defend it on the regular, it was over. I truly don't see much out of next year's game. Y'all are fixing to get 2 Maddens a month apart.

I have Lakers vs Celtics, a NBA game on the Sega Genesis released in '91. It has a halftime show with a highlight from another game from around the league. It blows my mind that games just don't do that anymore.
Hell yes! NHLPA Hockey from 1992 had updates during the intermission where they showed highlights from other games. I remember thinking at the time "this is AMAZING " would never have dreamed that 30+ years later sports games have barely evolved...
It's better than Madden. But that's literally like saying, "Dang I gashed my finger, but at least I didn't amputate!" While it doesn't hurt that much, it still HURTS!
This how I put it gameplay wise not bad probably one of the better EA football games in a while. But feature and other stuff yeah not great. There some colleges that don't even have mascots even though they have one, so there is a lot of the features and stuff that a bit annoying.
I haven't purchased a football game since 09, and hearing the same complaints, i had then, is crazy. Speaking with your wallet doesn't work when you all keep buying crap.

What pisses me off more is that I have made these same arguments on other forums an the fanboys all use the same line "Its just a game" or "git gud". They refuse to see the actual BS that this game is. They always talk about details being great, then how come the Red River Rivalry has the wrong score and wrong commentary. OU Won last year, that was a major game, it was the only loss Texas had that season. Stuff like that pisses me off.

Personally from what I can tell. It’s the skill caps and new attribute system they added to all the players that causes that issue. It’s a good system and very nice but it’s clear that it’s the main reason that we can’t edit players. That and the NIL deals and stuff.

I mostly play online at this point, although I've been playing EA Sports football games for over 20 years now, but the 'Road to CFB Playoff' mode is absolutely dumb AF.... 3 min quarters??? That often ends up as literally one possession each per half, which turns into a strategy game that doesn't even remotely look like football. You can't change your playbooks or uniforms prior to the game as the only option you can even select is which of three Tiers your opponent will belong to. It's clear in a multitude of ways that the game developers were exceedingly lazy, and this much is painfully evident when you see shit like the fact that all the in-game player info in this online mode lists every individual as a freshman from the state of Alabama.... LMAO -- Seriously, EA Sports??? You didn't happen to notice that at any point? And of course not even the slightest attempt to patch their incredibly flawed product. I mean, yeah, the game can be fun in a sense, simply due to our love of CFB and the decade long gap since the last NCAA game came out, but there's so many glaring issues that I've noticed immediately. EA Sports has basically flipped the bird to all of their loyal consumers, YET AGAIN, just like they've managed to run the Madden series into the effin ground over the last few years. Playing Revamped now. The only issue I have with it is blocking. But it is a great game. I like the fact that they had most of the real players name in it last year also.
I think the biggest issue with that is it’s clearly due to the skill cap and new attribute system they added. Idk how much ppl look at it but it’s clear as day that it’s the reason you can’t create players or edit their ratings.
I got the game Friday and I will say I feel like all the TH-camrs who said this was a good game lied to me. The gameplay isn’t good. Pursuit angles are horrible, my players will literally run past the ball carrier without even trying to tackle them even somehow making contact with them. It’s fun to recruit and that but the on field game isn’t good and that is above all else what is important. Feel betrayed man.
Its a 4-5 for me. I love it, but I only love it because it has been gone so long. There really was no excuse for them to put out such a buggy game that is missing so much when you literally had 3-4 years to work on it. Its like they let the CFB Revamped guys do just a little bit but then said ''Whoa dude, its not that deep. We can just add one percent more effort next year and make triple the money!''
As a boomer gamer with nothing but love for the original N64 Blitz I still don’t understand why people want SIMULATION football. The AI plays most of the game for you. I never feel like I’m in control.
Because people have different taste than you. Your old enough to recognize that right? I don't want cartoonish players and I want the ability to build a roster and scout players and higher coaches and develop a scheme. It just sucks that EA sports has ruined all of that

@@alexclark13I think there’s a massive difference there. They have all rights to every single NFL player in the NFL. They don’t have the rights to everyone for college football. But it’s also clear that it’s probably due to their new attribute system and create a player was something they didn’t add due to probably adding that new stat system. I think it’s sad that’s the case but I could definitely see it being the issue.
@@alexclark13madden licenses all the player likenesses through one contract with the NFLPA, whereas there are multiple different NIL deals all with their own terms. Specifically, players can opt out of NIL, so that could be an issue if players are sharing rosters that include players EA doesnt have the rights to. The ncaa lawsuit from back in the day mentioned that the announcers would pronounce unique player names like "Manziel" when they didnt have the rights to player names.
As an indie dev seeing a hard crash like that drives me insane. If my game crashed like that it would fail cert and there's even a chance it'll be pulled from the store if they didn't catch it during cert.

Presentation initially is good. It quickly becomes stale and repetitive. You see the same intro over and over you’ll hear Mo Bamba 7 times a game and commentary while better than Madden is still dull. Gameplay is an improvement over Madden but the defense is garbage. You’ll see multiple Marshawn Lynch Beastquake runs a game because tackling is non existent to go along with little league pursuit angles. Dynasty is a disaster. The mode feels lifeless, recruiting is a mess and they can’t even get basic things like the rankings correct destroying all immersion. You also have to force win all of the games to have any semblance of accuracy from the sim engine. To me this game is a 5/10. There is a foundation here for what could be a good game but there’s so much work that needs done and I have zero faith in EA to correct issues if they’re making money
Yeah, but they really don't need them to be the same. All that importing a player needs is to check or transfer integers/numbers. The engine isn't required at all. EA is just lazy & want you to think the games must be the same.
Forgot to mention, which they didn't mention either, w custom team: 1. Jersey tops are limited in options. A. no stripe/pattern options for side of jersey (oblique/rib areas) B. Very limited side options for pants as well. C. Why can't we CREATE PLAYERS IN DYNASTY!!!???
Create players is clearly due to a couple things. The new ratings system that they have with skill caps and things of that nature as well as the NIL deals resulting in the fact that they can’t risk players that didn’t agree being put in.

They do not have the same case for college football as these are specific deals for each player. And if they disagree. You don’t have the rights to them. And also no madden game has had the same attribute system this college football game has either.
Don’t get me wrong it should be in the game and was clearly something they didn’t care about enough. But I’m just saying that stuff like that are likely why they never had it added. Cuz even in RTG you can make ur player but u can’t make them the same as anyone who opted out so it’s clear they just didn’t take the time and effort to put in a similar system just with create a player and that likely falls back to the new attribute system and depth of how far they want that system to go.
I kinda think the bare minimum should of been starting off from how NCAA 14 was and then improving from there but I guess that was to hard for a sports dev team at EA to do.

Something that i think needs mentioning, the Coaches Challenge actually works in this game. The Challenge system in Madden has ben busted and inoperable for years outside of Booth Review. So far in this game i have used coaches challenge 4 times (3 for Fumbles one for Ball Spot Error.) And i have had three work. All the fumbles got overturned when the Challenge Replay showed my player had a knee, or his hand on the turf before the ball came out.
I agree. But I do have to mention that the commentators barely acknowledge a challenge was made. No comments on whether they think it will stand or not. No confirmation from an official that a) the play is under review and b) what the outcome of that review was. Also please correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t turnovers/change of possession/scoring plays automatically reviewed?? IIRC if a coach challenges an auto review play, isn’t it penalized??? Why do I have to burn a challenge on a fumble to see if my player’s knee/elbow was down before??
I was able to overturn a sack fumble with a challenge and then go on to score on the drive, so satisfying after not being able to do that in madden for years when the refs screw ya

IF I were a game studio, I would release whatever crap game that I wanted to release and watch your reviews literally "bug hunt" every single glitch that I didn't want to pay some QA to find. I'd watch your reactions to each bug found and determine what order I'd care to "fix" these bugs. There're no repercussions for putting out a bug-ridden game anymore as it is. Even watching Angry Joe show now sounds more like Slightly annoyed Joe show who laughs at these bugs instead of angry ranting and as a Dev team I wouldn't even have to worry with at the least having my feelings hurt. I love your reviews though and keep up the great work.

Huh? I thought the new attribute system they added for players was pretty cool and unique and added something cool. And I thought the coaching talent trees were fairly cool too. Although the level cap kinda annoyed me. Wish there was an option to turn it off
The hardcore casuals are the ones buying this. And Madden. And 2K. And COD. Every year. And then they’re the ones spending thousands on MUT and VC bucks, and micro transactions, so there’s no reason for the companies to change

even fifa added it in fifa 2022 and its been there ever since called clubs and yes u can a full team of friends and all do your own characters and build your character to a high rating and play in divisions(basicly ranked)
I’m currently playing 2k5….my nephews came over yesterday and asked, “WTF is this?!”…they couldn’t get over how BETTER a 20 yr old game was….we played for hours
the game doesn't have in-game customization, the intro presentation for created teams you can't have an expansion slot for created teams like 2k. The stadiums are limited in scope. Many features from NCAA 14 are completely removed and the game is built on Frost bite instead of infinity 2 Engine
Gameplay is not great, lots of glitches. Not having fans storming the field on a upset is so dumb. No score updates… repeatable commentary already, no coin toss, recruiting is tedious, no special scoreboards still, animations are basically the same. I wish they would show more on the pregame show, would love a college game day that you’d watch before the week to tell you about the top matchups of the week. But hey they can add all this and call them new features in a future title
The gameplay is some of the best football gameplay I've ever seen. The AI for the most part does what it should. And you have to run the correct plays or you'll get torched. Elite players feel elite. At least on the harder settings. I love the fact I'm not going 12-0 and winning a title every year. No shit fans don't storm the video. Colleges get fined for this when it happens. Do do you think they'd allow EA to put it in their game? It's a college football game. Recruiting is a massive part of the sport. So of course you're going to need to put in the effort. What did you expect?
At FIRST, it seems great. New. They finally did something. But as you actually play the modes and get through them…you realize they did the bare minimum. Dynasty mode? Its franchise mode with some “upgrades.” And any big game you win or if any of your players win awards…you get a power point slide with a transition animation. Road to Glory? Pretty much the same thing. Just a different upgrade system. But any award or achievement…power point slide. Its not even as good when Madden first introduced a story mode… Haven’t even touched Ultimate team.
As a CLEMSON Fan, it aggravates me every time Death Valley plays sand storm when are rivals from the south have that song as part of their tradition, and CLEMSON would never play it. Especially every game, unless maybe they beat them at home

For me, ultimate team only works for FIFA. Their chemistry system and the ability to have anyone on your team is awesome. But for madden and nba 2k, they took that concept and made it absolutely stupid. I wouldn’t even call fifa pay to win bc you still need skill to win a game. I’ve had many games where someone destroys me with a team 10+ ratings below me… but for madden and nba it feels the complete opposite.
Best football games were the Backyard Sports franchise, bar none. The Cagey Bees, Sunny Day, Pablo Sanchez, Drew Bledsoe, John Elway, Kim Eichmann, etc....

I firmly believe that they make porting created players, playing with other people on the same console, or even controlling the same team on same console, impossible because it takes away from their ability to make funds on the MUT or ultimate team each year, if your game cant handle swapping a player file to another game under your companies title, then that is just planned obsolesce. Greed is the root of all evil. Why let people play together on one copy when we can artificially boost our sales numbers by making everyone buy their own copy?!?!?

It is well known that gambling is addictive and it is also widely known how to maximize that addictive potential of gambling towards profit within the games industry. This will never happen as 85% of sports game players are super casuals who barely play video games in the first place, let alone care enough to make a serious push for change. The best hope you can have is that one day an indie team will be passionate enough to make a quality football game while working around all the extortional licensing landmines (and that people will care enough for it to be financially viable)

Well yes and no. When you play franchise mode offline, it takes about 2 years to become the best team and win every single game even with super disadvantageous sliders.
In NCAA you cant just lose out and get great players as a result. You have to try and win games to build from the ground up.
So it will always be kind of different in that aspect.

The laziest and most glaring thing I've seen is that in practically the only online H2H mode (outside of creating a custom game with a specific friend), 'Road to CFB Playoff', it lists every single player as a freshman from the state of Alabama when the in-game matchup info pops up.... And because of that, the in-game commentary in that mode calls everyone a freshman. The fact that they haven't even attempted to patch that BS speaks volumes about how little EA Sports cares about their consumers. If it were COD or any other major franchise game, patches would have been put out immediately just to save face. It's truly despicable what these clowns have managed to do with their monopoly on the football genre.

that’s definitely true to an extent. but i don’t think this game deserves too much hate. The game is definitely overhyped and isn’t as good as people say it is, but i don’t really think hype is a reason to dislike or hate. If anything, we should consider the fact that this was meant to have arcade like gameplay or the fact that this game doesn’t have exclusive ncaa football rights. This is the first year back and they had 2 and a half - 3 years to work on this game. I see lots of effort and lots of laziness carried on from ea as usual. I think we should definitely judge this game and college football devs off of what they do in the coming years, like maybe things that are confirmed for cfb 26, but we don’t know yet. The biggest problem with that is madden has had lots of time to improve and has from madden 17-2025, but that isn’t hard to do like at all, since the bar was so low. I’m very questionable about this new version of the cfb games and I just hope the devs don’t carry the same laziness year by year as the madden team does. it has potential and the bar is actually right in the middle for upcoming games. Maybe they can change the scoreboard, have dynamic weather, high school, mascot mode, more mascots, better teambuilder features (creating a player sucks), etc. If they have all of that at the very least, I think the game will rise exponentially.
My point is, I really just don’t know how much an ea game can improve in a year of time, considering how little madden changes year by year.

I think this game can be summed up with, “it’s good, but…”
It has a bunch of the same issues as Madden due to the frostbite engine not being good for physics, but you can see that the devs cared about their product, and the gameplay not being sluggish makes it a lot of fun despite some pretty big issues.

Yet all they gave y'all, was something that is BARELY above Madden. If you put it up against the last two NCAAs, it falls well short of the marker. At this stage with the hardware and software, we should be looking at way more than what we're getting out of these games. College Hoops 2K7 had a full on recap show in its Legacy Mode. EA hasn't had one since The Extra Point which was in Maddens 10 and 11 for the PS3. Once EA figured out they could make major bank by putting out the bare minimum and having folks defend it on the regular, it was over. I truly don't see much out of next year's game. Y'all are fixing to get 2 Maddens a month apart.

I mostly play online at this point, although I've been playing EA Sports football games for over 20 years now, but the 'Road to CFB Playoff' mode is absolutely dumb AF.... 3 min quarters??? That often ends up as literally one possession each per half, which turns into a strategy game that doesn't even remotely look like football. You can't change your playbooks or uniforms prior to the game as the only option you can even select is which of three Tiers your opponent will belong to. It's clear in a multitude of ways that the game developers were exceedingly lazy, and this much is painfully evident when you see shit like the fact that all the in-game player info in this online mode lists every individual as a freshman from the state of Alabama.... LMAO -- Seriously, EA Sports??? You didn't happen to notice that at any point? And of course not even the slightest attempt to patch their incredibly flawed product. I mean, yeah, the game can be fun in a sense, simply due to our love of CFB and the decade long gap since the last NCAA game came out, but there's so many glaring issues that I've noticed immediately. EA Sports has basically flipped the bird to all of their loyal consumers, YET AGAIN, just like they've managed to run the Madden series into the effin ground over the last few years. This BS just keeps getting worse and worse, but the problem is that we keep buying their garbage games for lack of any other football options.....

I got the game Friday and I will say I feel like all the TH-camrs who said this was a good game lied to me. The gameplay isn’t good. Pursuit angles are horrible, my players will literally run past the ball carrier without even trying to tackle them even somehow making contact with them. It’s fun to recruit and that but the on field game isn’t good and that is above all else what is important. Feel betrayed man.
Its a 4-5 for me. I love it, but I only love it because it has been gone so long. There really was no excuse for them to put out such a buggy game that is missing so much when you literally had 3-4 years to work on it. Its like they let the CFB Revamped guys do just a little bit but then said ''Whoa dude, its not that deep. We can just add one percent more effort next year and make triple the money!''

But it’s also clear that it’s probably due to their new attribute system and create a player was something they didn’t add due to probably adding that new stat system. I think it’s sad that’s the case but I could definitely see it being the issue.

As an indie dev seeing a hard crash like that drives me insane. If my game crashed like that it would fail cert and there's even a chance it'll be pulled from the store if they didn't catch it during cert.

Presentation initially is good. It quickly becomes stale and repetitive. You see the same intro over and over you’ll hear Mo Bamba 7 times a game and commentary while better than Madden is still dull.
Gameplay is an improvement over Madden but the defense is garbage. You’ll see multiple Marshawn Lynch Beastquake runs a game because tackling is non existent to go along with little league pursuit angles.
Dynasty is a disaster. The mode feels lifeless, recruiting is a mess and they can’t even get basic things like the rankings correct destroying all immersion. You also have to force win all of the games to have any semblance of accuracy from the sim engine.
To me this game is a 5/10. There is a foundation here for what could be a good game but there’s so much work that needs done and I have zero faith in EA to correct issues if they’re making money
the fact that you can force wins for certain teams means you can get some achievements/trophies in as little as a few minutes.

Yeah, but they really don't need them to be the same. All that importing a player needs is to check or transfer integers/numbers. The engine isn't required at all. EA is just lazy & want you to think the games must be the same.

Create players is clearly due to a couple things. The new ratings system that they have with skill caps and things of that nature as well as the NIL deals resulting in the fact that they can’t risk players that didn’t agree being put in.

They do not have the same case for college football as these are specific deals for each player. And if they disagree. You don’t have the rights to them. And also no madden game has had the same attribute system this college football game has either.
Don’t get me wrong it should be in the game and was clearly something they didn’t care about enough. But I’m just saying that stuff like that are likely why they never had it added. Cuz even in RTG you can make ur player but u can’t make them the same as anyone who opted out so it’s clear they just didn’t take the time and effort to put in a similar system just with create a player and that likely falls back to the new attribute system and depth of how far they want that system to go.

Something that i think needs mentioning, the Coaches Challenge actually works in this game. The Challenge system in Madden has ben busted and inoperable for years outside of Booth Review. So far in this game i have used coaches challenge 4 times (3 for Fumbles one for Ball Spot Error.) And i have had three work. All the fumbles got overturned when the Challenge Replay showed my player had a knee, or his hand on the turf before the ball came out.
I agree. But I do have to mention that the commentators barely acknowledge a challenge was made. No comments on whether they think it will stand or not. No confirmation from an official that a) the play is under review and b) what the outcome of that review was.
Also please correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t turnovers/change of possession/scoring plays automatically reviewed?? IIRC if a coach challenges an auto review play, isn’t it penalized??? Why do I have to burn a challenge on a fumble to see if my player’s knee/elbow was down before??
I was able to overturn a sack fumble with a challenge and then go on to score on the drive, so satisfying after not being able to do that in madden for years when the refs screw ya

I'd watch your reactions to each bug found and determine what order I'd care to "fix" these bugs. There're no repercussions for putting out a bug-ridden game anymore as it is. Even watching Angry Joe show now sounds more like Slightly annoyed Joe show who laughs at these bugs instead of angry ranting and as a Dev team I wouldn't even have to worry with at the least having my feelings hurt. Huh? I thought the new attribute system they added for players was pretty cool and unique and added something cool. And I thought the coaching talent trees were fairly cool too. Although the level cap kinda annoyed me. Wish there was an option to turn it off

Gameplay is not great, lots of glitches. Not having fans storming the field on a upset is so dumb. No score updates… repeatable commentary already, no coin toss, recruiting is tedious, no special scoreboards still, animations are basically the same. I wish they would show more on the pregame show, would love a college game day that you’d watch before the week to tell you about the top matchups of the week. But hey they can add all this and call them new features in a future title

The gameplay is some of the best football gameplay I've ever seen. The AI for the most part does what it should. And you have to run the correct plays or you'll get torched. Elite players feel elite. At least on the harder settings. I love the fact I'm not going 12-0 and winning a title every year.

It's a college football game. Recruiting is a massive part of the sport. So of course you're going to need to put in the effort. What did you expect?
At FIRST, it seems great. New. They finally did something.
But as you actually play the modes and get through them…you realize they did the bare minimum.
Dynasty mode? Its franchise mode with some “upgrades.” And any big game you win or if any of your players win awards…you get a power point slide with a transition animation.
Road to Glory? Pretty much the same thing. Just a different upgrade system. But any award or achievement…power point slide. Its not even as good when Madden first introduced a story mode…
Haven’t even touched Ultimate team.

For me, ultimate team only works for FIFA. Their chemistry system and the ability to have anyone on your team is awesome. But for madden and nba 2k, they took that concept and made it absolutely stupid. I wouldn’t even call fifa pay to win bc you still need skill to win a game. I’ve had many games where someone destroys me with a team 10+ ratings below me… but for madden and nba it feels the complete opposite.

Yearly revenue will forever hold sports games back. They need 2-3 years per game to really make refinements.
I firmly believe that they make porting created players, playing with other people on the same console, or even controlling the same team on same console, impossible because it takes away from their ability to make funds on the MUT or ultimate team each year, if your game cant handle swapping a player file to another game under your companies title, then that is just planned obsolesce. Greed is the root of all evil. Why let people play together on one copy when we can artificially boost our sales numbers by making everyone buy their own copy?!?!?
