Can i just say, the quality of crossover breakers has been rather impressive from the get go with all three archetypes already playable without the additional main set supports
Konami is surprisingly good with not oveusing themes. They only have one archetype based on norse mythology, and two on tarots (Arcana Force and Prophecy, the second one only in the names)
I shared this with my dad. He doesn't love Yu-Gi-Oh but he love's Alice in Wonderland and works with computers. Cross my fingers this will get him interested in picking up the game fully so he can play the deck. (And by fully I mean he knows the basics but only because I sometimes ask him to play with me.)

A quick thing to note flavorwise, Pawns in Game-development are a "class" of Actors that are usually used when an Actor could be controlled by a player, think the Character a Player plays as in games. Queen, while not exactly a programming term I'm aware of, could be analogous to "Parent" classes, which essentially refers to a class that has a class created from it. It's usually used as a way to program an action that multiple objects may have a function for, and need to be cast as a class to get the proper functionality to work.
I actually really like how the Banish floodgates are balanced with this deck. Because using them means you lose out on a ton of the generic Cyberse support that require stuff in grave
This might be the first type of banishing deck that I’m generally interested in trying out once it releases. Also, watching this video made more excited due to the inspiration of what Maliss is based off of.
Cynet Backdoor, and Cynet Rollback is just too great use in this deck. Cynet Backdoor is just good dodge any handtraps. Cynet Rollback is even better card in this deck, Special summon 1 Cyberse from your's banished.
Anyone else find it weird how we're only now getting a archetype based on Alice and wonderland? Feels like something that would've been made when archetypes started becoming the norm.
TBH there’s a number of wells they haven’t drawn from for inspiration. For example, we have 2 of the 4 classic Chinese novels as archetypes (Water Margin for Fire Fist, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms for Ancient Warriors), but we haven’t got anything based on probably the most famous of those novels: Journey to the West.
@@enlongjones2394it would probably be that the archetype where there is a bunch of beast-warrior ls or at-least one and then each one would represent one of his 72 transformations or each of them except a beast warrior representing wukong would be a beast

And if curious on which one I love, it's always the Cheshire Cat along with the Mad Hatter, so obvious the Cheshire Cat themself cause she and I are a little similar as personalities, goes.
I think Dual Assembwurm is better than Degrade Buster. When shifter/floodgate is up, GY will be empty most of the time anyway. Also Assembwurm can enable Maliss further by its banishing effect right? Degrade buster have a neat uses for cleaning up Maliss that stranded in GY. So both of them is a good choices
I was going to make a hybrid version of salamangreat and maliss decks since I love salamangreat too much to play anything else I just hope their play styles aren’t too different from each other to make them work
The Necroface, Inferno Tempest, Eater of Millions, the Pots, Kashtira, and Gren Maju BS, among other things, will make this deck go ham, and your opponent's heads absolutely mad.
11:30 On this topic, is anyone else thinking/hoping that IP Masquerena and the Live/Evil Twins might be connected to the Maliss cards? They are definitely hacker/cyberspace related XD
Why did they change it to Maliss? Do the ones in charge of localization not know it's based on Alice in Wonderland? They should realize they tend to screw up with what they do. Check this out!
@@homebrewproductions9345 I think that just gets used for decks that have released and have some history to them. Can’t really gauge stuff like their power or fairness until they’ve had some time in the spotlight.

Honestly i'm genuinely surprised this is the first time yugioh has printed an archetype involving alice in wonderland
Mad Hacker for two years now. Seems to have been in the pipeline for a while.

10/10 for card art. Can't wait to try this deck out!
Do the right thing konami, don't censor this for the tcg

I've waited for so many years for an alice in wonderland deck
Is this the latest iteration of official translation??? I really hope they keep the universal quantifier in the archetype name.
