They were the first archetype I ever played somewhat competitively, back when Master Duel first came out, and I still maintain that they’re only a few well-placed support cards away from meta relevance. As soon as we get the Link-1 Dragonmaid Brachem and a Dragonmaid Manor Field Spell, this deck is going to go absolutely pop off.

Dragonmaid is such a nice little archetype. Beyond the cute aesthetic, and Laundry becoming hugely popular in the community (not to mention she's being a Lvl 2 Water that mills for free, makes her splashable in a LOT of decks and aiding on that popularity), as a deck it IS a wonderful deck to play for beginners. We need to give these maids a raise.
Laundry: "cleans" the graveyard by putting something into it, but fishing the bricks back into the deck, like putting clean clothes back into the closet. Nurse: heals your other maids and makes them ready to battle again. Kitchen: "prepares a dish" and "spices it" (adding dragonmaid to the hand and increasing her attack). Parlour: puts away "dirty dishes" and protects other maids. Chamber: prepares your chamber (like your fieldspell). House: Organises the other maids just like a housemaid of the victorian era (housemaids were the highest in command next to the butler), but also protects them. Any other additions?
If we're assuming the flavorful effects here are intentional it wouldn't be about a Kitchen. Effects still work for someone who works in a stillroom however
Apparently in the new OCG art book there is an art of chamber with a question mark for dragon form, so the chance of seeing a bercham is actually real and not just a pipe dream
Personal opinion, it needs to be a fusion and totally busted. Given Chamber can float into any big dragon, a fusion monster lines up with that concept. Make sure Chamber is listed as a material so they can use the fusion support cards.
A crossover card? That sounds awesome. Imagine it had an effect that affected both "blue eyes" or "dragonmaid" cards. Like searching them or allowing you to fuse them out of the graveyard.
@@wingedbluj1674 Well, knowing that card doesn't exist yet, it can be good. Just the example I mentioned, being able to fuse off the grave + field and hand, maybe by discarding her. That is good for both archetypes
Branded Maids are actually pretty viable! To start, you can always summon Fallen of Albaz with Spheres on the opponents turn, and then immediately fusion summon something with their monsters (Titaniklad or Mirrorjade are great, but you can always combo into the latter with Albion/Lubellion). This combo gets you disruption by returning an opponent's card to hand (or bounces back one of your resources if you need to) AND you get a pretty good boss monster that used your opponents card as material (Mirrorjade especially furthers the chaos). I should note that Spheres can dodge Raigeki (and probably other field removal provided there is a target for its effect) with its effect and can bounce back an important card you want to hold onto this way. And because Spheres' second effect would activate AFTER the resolution of the field wipe, you can begin to rebuild your field and accumulate more resources. The field spell, Despia, Theater of the Branded, is basically a better Fusion Gate for your dragon fusions (Dragonmaids, Branded, etc.) because it's searchable through Aluber (who can also grab Branded Fusion in a pinch, and is itself summonable with Branded Opening) and can potentially revive a higher level fusion from the GY if your opponent does anything to Aluber. Sheou and Mirrorjade are quite effective together and can be hard to get rid of (especially with how evasive Sheou can be if you bounce the summoned House to get back Changeover). Of course, the dragons that Mirrorjade dumps can also be used for Dragon Mirror to bring out the Fusion Maids or other tech monsters (I recommend Borreload Furious Dragon). You can add in Noctovision Dragon for link support (and a nice draw/backrow protection effect) and another high level dragon for Sheou (or a dark attribute for whatever else). If you end up summoning Mirrorjade through Albion/Lubellion, you can banish/return your Pistys (Pisties?)/Striker Dragons and spent Spheres as material, which can really help you keep those high level fusion dragons on the field (either as large bodies or material for other fusion summons). Doing this is not only a bit more resource efficient, but it can recycle Spheres (and other extra deck monsters) in a pinch (via Lubellion). Of course, the link-1 dragons are also excellent Dragon Mirror targets for Borreload Furious Dragon if you decide to run a copy. I found that adding in Branded cards gives Dragonmaids that extra push they need to keep up with meta decks (at least in Master Duel) and just makes them flat out more dangerous and variable with what you can do. I totally recommend! Dragonmaids also have good synergy with Rokkets (or Dragon Link, if you prefer) and Dragunities, but I'm not as experienced with those variants so I can't really speak as much for their potential/combos beyond that they exist and are likely fun. Edit: I forgot to add this earlier, but you can still resolve Spheres' second effect even if its effect on the field has been negated or if the bounce effect has been negated in grave. This is because the activation cost for the first effect is the tribute, so even if the bounce is negated, the summon from deck can still activate and resolve since Spheres' second effect activates separately when it has been tributed. The only time this won't work (that I am aware of) is if your opponent chains Called by the Grave and banishes your Spheres. Of course, Spheres' first effect must be *able* to resolve (i.e. have an appropriate target) for it to be activated at all (important to keep in mind). I like to think that whenever you mix Dragonmaids with something else, they're just hosting the monsters or archetype you added, ensuring the guests have a nice stay.
