NOVA Scale Novelty - It's cool to see another theme grouping, and while it's been featured in the past, I'm glad to see that they continue to explore it. This quartet is pretty thematically resonant, and I can't wait to see them do more with it. While this deck does end up being Big Stompy Turbo a lot of the time, the interplay with the Continuous Spells gives the deck a resource management angle that's a welcome change of pace. 5/5 Objectivity - This deck can OTK in an instant, so game have the potential to be really quick, especially if your opening grip doesn't have much interaction. That being said, not a lot of this deck's cards floodgate the opponent, nor provide unwavering protections that make them immovable objects on top of being unstoppable forces. 5/5 Versatility - While I wouldn't plug the WHOLE theme into many decks, it's a worthwhile addition to Voiceless Voice to give you a lot of extra damage and a pivot to monster mashing if your oppoennt drops the Dimensional Barrier. And then you can split the theme up into it's component types, and now you have a fun little engine to splash into a number of decks. They don't go in EVERYTHING, especially thanks to the Crest Lock, but expect to see fragments of this pop up among your least favorite rogue decks from time to time. 3/5 Awesomeness - Giant beasts of indomitable might, duking it out to control the world, with power handed down by a divine dragon with killer heels that would make Eldlich jealous? Sign me the hell up! Looking forward to more Rank 10 options in the future that are Crest Compatible, and maybe a Level 10 Sea Serpent that's worth playing in Mermails to make this feel like the perfect suite of support for some underserved types. 5/5 Total: 18/20 Thanks for reading! Interestingly, enough the Ryu-Ge archetype is based on the three great beasts of Land, Sea, and Air: Behemoth, Leviathan, and Ziz respectively. Kuaiba, Rugged Ryu-Ge of Dinocrag represents Behemoth, Yuanba, Abyssal Ryu-Ge of Serpentfall represents Leviathan, and Baba, Champion Ryu-Ge of Wyrmhaze represents Ziz. Also, it seems like this archetype borrows from the Pokémon Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza who also represent Behemoth, Leviathan and Ziz respectively.
It's so cool that we finally get a proper dragon, dinosaur, sea serpent, and wyrm archetype. Although admittedly the dragon part isn't to involve so i hope we get supports that interact with dragon more
If we want a more serious group name for the..."bad dragons"...may I suggest "wyverns"? Helps convey the "not quite a dragon" deal those types have, plus ropes in the MH fandom.
I would kinda like Master Duel to do Events like this where you can take a "side" and build a deck around 1 of the leaders. Could be fun and a great way to introduce new archetypes into the game while also seeing what needs to be nerfed in some way to keep things fair.
I like this series of cards a lot, I can see there being a later release low level reptile that grows and type changes as it passes through each gate narratively and inherits the starforge title
1:40 Okay, time to pivot to bringing up fairies being angels whenever named fairy/pixie/etc spellcasters (or another type) show up and get mentioned or punned on. Except for when the creators purposefully mess with us, looking at you Ghostrick Fairy/Angel.
As a mermail player I think the sea serpent one is pretty cool as megalo can trigger it while setting off a variety of effects depending on what you discarded off of megalo's effects.
I really do like how each type is support for each of its types. People have been complaining about how Swordsoul hasn't gotten any support, but this can play really well with that archetype. This also can encourage future card makers to design newer cards that play well with this archetype. Looking at you, sea-serpents, you really need something that can play better with the king of the sea. I am hoping that we don't have a future Dragon Ruler problem in the future with these cards because the whole theme is something that I really enjoy.
@@HeavenPrinceofChaos Okay, good. As long as we're all on the same page that I would never ever not even as a joke under no circumstances tortuously drag out a conversation involving whether or not I was making a sex joke. :3
funny thing is if you combine yuanba with with cards lke Droll and lock,or protector of the sanctuary...by getting rid of Yuanba field spell and bannishing your opponents hand, they wont be able to draw any new cards. also id like to poiny out that these monsters are each based on one of the 3 legendary primordial creatures of judao christianity...creatures that god had created as a representation and personification of himself Kuaiba is based off of Behehemoth who was the greatest of beasts god had made who was as strong as the mountains and ruled over all other land animals Behemoth personified Gods strengh and consistancy, behemoth was often depicted and a creature that mixed mamalian and dinosaur atributes. Yuanba is based of Leviathan (who was usually depected as a great whale or sea serpant of some kind) who ruled over everything that lived in the seas, whos ferocity could be tamed by none but god...who represents god's power and fury. and lastly baba is based off of ZIz,the ruler of all birds and all things that fly through the skies while we are never given an exact description many in cultures depict him as a great bird or griffin whose wings stretch across the sky,a creature that is supposed to embody Gods dominion and Athority. and its possible that Guangba is supposed to elude as a stand in for God in himself....his summoning by tributing one of them reminisint in that durring the end times these creatures will be killed by god to serve as food for the nations

Whats next? A Grass Reptile evolving into a Grass Dinosaur, Fiery Winged-Beast evolving into a Beast-Warrior Fighting Chicken and a Mud Fish evolving into an even bigger Mud Fish? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It could be fun to make a master duel event around this. Lock to these 3 types and have the non-gem prizes be icons of the 3, a theme of the big guy and maybe a special pack to help build with these guys instead of generic prize pack tickets.
Can we call these types the pseudo dragons based on psuedo which means fake. So Fake dragons also a Pokémon pun from pseudo legendaries and most of them are dragon so?
