Yep! A day or so later after having my daughter's hair washed and straightened she sweats and take the steamy shower and her hair is frizzed back out. If this product works against that type of moisture I'm sold!

This is my go to for slik press for myself and my clients hair for the last 5 years. Literally my fav product and it really does leave your hair shinny silky and water resistant. I've used it on the tightest of the type 4 hair and it's perfection. Has your silk press looking fresh for 2 weeks. Also it does well with protecting tour curls from all the heat that's been applied to your hair during. If you really want to put and extra heat protectant, use a light weight one like AG firewall after the blow dry stage just before you flat iron (this heat protectant is humidity resistant as well). Finish with a pea/ peanut size amount ofthe Colour WOW Pop and Lock.

My niece who is a professional MUA and hair stylist has this product within her tools. However, most of her clients are caucasian, so when she gave it to me to try it, I was not enthused at all. I have 4C hair, and did try it for a complete fail- - let me say that again - it was a complete fail. In that tic toc and in this video, both of them used tiny drops of water to demonstrate water repellant properties. Ladies, humidity is NOT two drops or even many drops of water. It is fully immersive, constant unrelenting moisture. THis does absolutely nothing for my 4c hair. My hair still puffed into a pom pom. These companies will do anything to get access to our coins. Please don't fall for the okie doke. This stuff is expensive, and will only add to your cabinet of unused products. As a side note, I silk press my hair every two weeks, and on wash day I must run the water over my hair for at least 1-2 minutes before it starts to revert (and note that I have absolutely no heat damage). I point this out to bring attention to the fact that you can have water repellant hair, but that does not mean that your straight hair will survive humidity, as humidity exposure is like your hair is being continuously submerged in a big tank of microscopic water droplets. I have neither heard of nor found any product that is able to fully and continuously stop the hell that is humidity - not for any hair type. I would love you to try this on any rainy day and I assure you your results will be as mine were. But hey, some things you must try for yourself, so good luck. Perhaps you will be the exception

And also clarify your hair before to remove all buildup
@Bonny P yes, I would’ve liked if she had shown her droplet test on different sections of her hair, show a couple of clips of her actually outside in different areas, (which would show that her hair has been tossed every which way by the wind), and then a two day later clip showing how her hair results were holding up. That would’ve been a lot better to have that full review. But you definitely summed it up.

She also used other products with silicone in them. I use a heat protection and biosilk when I flat iron my hair and it help my press to hold up a little better . I will look for a more thorough review on this just out of curiosity .

Stylist here, color wow does work for all textures. :) the key ingredients are silicones and polymers that attach and bond with the hair and create a barrier that repels water. People spend a lot of time hating silicones for no reason, they offer heat protection, humidity protection, shine, lubrication, and silkyness
should we use this product with another heat protectant??
That's because people stopped using shampoos that are strong enough to remove them or stopped using shampoo altogether.

Silicone yup just looked at the ingredient ALOT of silicone thats why it takes a while even after you wash ur hair to curl back up but it will and it wont be damage. My hair hates silicone ☹️

This is the breakthrough I’ve been waiting for. My hair is virgin (no heat, relaxer or color has ever touched my new growth) I decided that once my new growth get navel length. I’m getting my hair silk pressed regularly but I can only afford to get it done once per month. With this WOW treatment I can see how it’s possible to achieve this goal. Yes this works ive been using it for 2 years on my frizzy wavy hair I and on my moms curly hair and my grandmothers 4a curly hair; its the closest thing to a relaxer it makes hair silky and lightweight and protects it from humidity, I wouldnt stand in the rain in it but it can withstand a few drops of water
Tip: use it with Olaplex No.3 you will feel like you have a new head of hair

GAME CHANGER! I started using the entire line last year after watching The Brandon Experience give a detailed review on what each product did and how to use them. I am so in love with this brand that I bought another "system" for my stylist to use on my hair when she does my silk presses. LOVE IT!
I love his channel! I wish he would make more videos. I couldn't get the dreamcoat to work but I love this company's philosophy on shampoos and how they try to think outside of the box so I gave their other products a try. I am so glad I did! Every single other product I have tried from them works extremely well on my hair like so well I can't believe it's my hair. I have used the shampoo, money mask, coconut cocktail, one minute transformation cream, and the Mist-ical shine spray. I am using this line exclusively now. I am natural highly textured coily.

I’m also interested in seeing how your hair reverts. This is great for a silk press but I would be worried about water and water based products not being able to penetrate my hair until this is washed out completely.

Clarify your hair and it’ll make it easier.

You’ll have to wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo that specifically has a sulfate in it. That’s the only ingredient that can remove 100% of the silicones in this product that create the barrier against water.

I use this all the time! It’s a game changer when wearing my hair flat ironed. Even living by a river with humid summer weather my hair stays FLAT. Sweat means nothing. I don’t saturate my hair though, just spray some on and let it dry before flat ironing with my tymo. Good to know that using more makes it like waterproof!!

I used it 3 weeks ago and had washed my hair 2 times and my hair looks really good. I have hair type 3c/4a curls with lots of frizz. Keep in mind I did the same thing she did lol I need to use it by itself to proof the theory

I don't know if you looked up reviews but I did, because I was going to use it when I want to do a blowout. A lot of people said it was amazing at first then ruined their hair after using it for a few months. Their hair would not absorb water anymore after awhile then their hair started to break off. Just a warning, may have to use a clarifying shampoo after every use.
Yes, because the silicone creates a barrier, no moisture going in or out. If anyone uses this product they need to clarify every so often.

Good looking out. Excellent video. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 UPDATE: I tried this product on my 4b/c hair and I'm still straight, with no reversion, after 3 days in 95 degree summer heat. Routine: I washed and conditioned as normal. With no other products in my hair, I sprayed WoW to each section, blow dried, then flat ironed using heat protection only. I used a water based leave in (in fear 🙃) and blue magic to seal my ponytail. It really works. Thank you so much for this review. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ P.S. You remind me of Malia Obama in this video.

This is not a thorough review of the product effectiveness. If someone could show how it works in actual rain or drizzling weather, or even after the gym then that will help better verify the product's claims.

I used this a couple of times several years ago and loved it. I deep conditioned my hair well and only used the Dreamcoat. My hair was the shiniest it had ever been and it did help with humidity. But then I found out it had very toxic ingredients in it and stopped using it. The ingredients on their website don’t match up with what my bottle listed (they even have a disclaimer about it which seems suspect). Perhaps they have changed the ingredients but just be careful ladies!!!

Ok first, you are totally hilarious! I actually cut my relaxed hair from the length yours is in this video to "Halle Berry" short when I decided to go natural due to frizz control being unbearable! Not sure I can get with the flat iron on 425, but that's just me. I'm grateful that you shared this product for the curly, poofy 3c/4a/4b's of us that do NOT want to "fight the good fight" any more. Stylist here, no this wouldn’t harm your hair, if anything it will help. Water being repelled from your hair increases the health because it prevents your hair from going through processes of swelling and shrinking. Basically, when your hair opens and closes, this causes damage over time.
