    I hit an one foot deep pothole at 40km with a set of Lun 45 and the exact seem damage on the side. I will never purchase or use aluminum rims after that incident. Your are correct if you damage or have an issue that should considered. I had to purchase a new wheel, always read the warranty coverage.

    Got a set of Alpha 50’s(rim brake) on Black Friday special last year and got about 5k miles with no issues. Other than regular maintenance on hubs they ride true and brake surface is mint. For the money, can’t really complain.
    Fitting Conti 5000TL is another story 😂

    I did skip through some sections of the video but just in case you are not aware:
    As far as I know ICAN do offer some discount for crash replacement wheels if you are interested. They might be worth contacting.

      I’ve been using the supplied tape that came with the wheels not had a problem with it!

      Novatec FS522SB rear hub , front hub AS511SB.

      @@FreeToCycle There was a time when they were using rebranded Formula hubs (like mine) which are excellent as well. But my findings are the same, and I've ridden mine on mountain bike single track with my road bike. Unbelievably strong.
