Way way WAY long ago I enjoyed this with the MT-25. Sadly that was years ago but even the small clan battles and just being a suicidal lunatic at first glance was hilarious or always out spotting everything before Cromwell spam took over.
Hey Jingles! Thanks for sharing my replay. Hope you all enjoy the hilarity of the derp. Admittedly half way through the match I thought “here we go another one sided game”, but decided to play it out. And like I said in game, this could not have been achieved without the Luchs. A true little hero.
You got robbed of a 12th kill by the Bishop committing death by splash damage (unintentionally I presume). Monster game anyway, always good fun to watch.

At first, while in the match, I thought I had gotten the ram kill then had to go back and watch the replay to figure out how I didn't get the kill. The Bishop player was a good sport and messaged me afterwards about him killing himself and the raging that was going on in their teams chat.
One of the worst is when your team is too competent, and the enemy is throwing. You barely get done with the initial engagement, and the next thing you know, is the game is wrapping up without you. Unless you're in a speedy boi. These games always leave a sour taste in my mouth.
We have to remember though - this was a mid/low-tier game. Throws like this are to be expected. But at tiers 8-10? They're completely unacceptable. And I'd argue the quality of gameplay (and players in general) are worse at tiers 8-10 than 4-6.
Hehe, you should add a toilet flushing sound effect after you introduce yourself! The Echo makes you sound like you're on the toilet and it's hilarious!
The KV2 is still the original derpster but I reckon it was more fun when folks would see a KV and wonder which gun and turret you had. "Please let it be the original turret..." *goes round corner, DERP* "He chose... poorly" :D

I used to do platoons with 2 KV (t5, kv2 turret ofc) and a tier 10 to face t10s because the amount of credits and xp you print shitting on t10s with a t5 was insane. I'm happy Jingles carefully worded the KV-2 is still fun to play as long as it's not bottom tier. I recently was inmy KV-2, bottom tier. The enemy team was good three of thier tier 8 light tanks strayed the KV-2 in a short time. Once the 2 is perma-tracked, that slow turret traverse cannot hit a fast moving light tank.
I can just hear the Luchs giggling as he races around the map taking potshop then watchs the KV2 obliterate the enemy tanks one by one....... muahahahahaa!!!

In the first ~30 seconds, the Luchs runs back towards the KV2 and pulls an enemy tank right into the KV2's crosshairs. And thus the tone of the battle was set.
If I had paid for a kv2-R, I would have demanded a refund after the HE nerf. WG screwed with the basic functionality of a premium tank whose entire purpose was to wreck enemies with HE.

During the HE rework, iirc they said they would try to keep the HE shells as stock as possible, might have changed it but I haven't noticed it because DORP. HE pens spaced armor but only deals damage to the thickness of armor it hits, so it just requires mediocre aiming
That's not quite how it works, though; First, if the HE shell pens the spaced armor, but fails to pen the armor beneath, it does nothing. The only time it does damage is if it pens or hits the main body of the armor; no more Bombardier medals for non-arty. Second, armor thickness/angle plays a lot more of a role in HE shell protection, considering that the damage calculation only checks the plate it hits, rather than the old system of radial checks for the thinnest plate. While this change makes rear-turreted tanks like the less hellish to play (especially when there's a KV-2 or other large-caliber, high-explosive using tank) it also makes tanks like the Chieftain, Kranvagn, and Obj. 279e that much harder to kill.
The duo of the luchs and the kv-2 just made me think of the baby yoda die trash meme lol. This tiny tank just zipping around with his big brother kv-2 right behind him, practically cackling as he spots the next victim and going "haha yes, die trash!" whenever the kv-2 fires, before zipping off to find the next target.
Luchs = hunting dog. KV2 = hunter. What a great dog, running around finding the targets, distracting the ones with teeth, and generally just being a great partner on the battlefield. Every KV2 ought have a Luchs to hunt with!
That Luchs driver was NUTZ!! He was like the annoying kid brother in every kids action flick, that makes the critical assist with the walkie-talkie at the last moment!!

Can I just take a moment to complement the latest remodels of old Himmelsdorf here? Back in my day it was just a generic city map with a big hill on one side with a castle on it for reasons. Now instead of bordering a bigger industrial region, the railway yard to the west runs along the bank of a great river that's evidently deep enough for a now bombed out battleship to steam up it, the southern side of the map is bordered by a canal, there's tram lines snaking through the city and up the hill. This map is actually now properly very nice to look at, more the kind of city I wouldn't mind visiting in peacetime. Well done to Wargaming's map developers for breathing new life into one of the game's oldest maps.
I remember when one of my kv 2 videos got featured in an old Why you heff to be mad compilation (it's been blocked on copyright grounds, of course) where I got tank sniper, with the final, glorious shot being on a moving Su 101 on practically full hp, moving at full speed, at 500 m range.

Remember to good old days, when even fail platooning in the KV-2 still was glorious. If none you know what I mean, I think it was Jingles "The Good, the Bad, The Ugly" either episode 23 or 26. Where a KV-2 got into a tier 10 game wrecked havoc.
The Luchs reminds me of a dog. Actually a young dog, no longer a puppy but still with all the energy of a puppy. With the curiosity all youngsters have and wanting to investigate everything all at once.
That cross courtyard snipe at 4:25 was especially glorious in my eyes, because I play the KV tank line pretty religiously on the rare occasion me and my buddy are both online and in the mood to play World of Tanks. Oh, and by "the KV line", I mean approximately half of the Russian tech tree because the KV-2 shares a chassis with 35 tanks IRL, approximately a third of which, IIRC, are in World of Tanks and that's not including things like the KV-2 (R) seen in this video, aka premium/event variants. The 32 IRL tanks that all share the same chassis are; KV-0, KV-1, KV-1S, KV-2, KV-2 ZiS 6 (a KV-2 with a ZiS 6 gun, most likely destroyed defending Leningrad), KV-3 (5 tank models under the classification of KV-3 existed, these were the Object tanks T-150, T-220, T-221, T-222 and T-223), KV-4, KV-5, KV-6, KV-7, KV-7-2, KV-8, KV-8S, KV-8M, KV-9, KV-10, KV-11, KV-12, KV-13 (also called IS Model I), IS Model II, KV-14, KV-85, KV-100, KV-122 (2 models, a KV-1S refitted with a 122mm howitzer and a KV-85 refitted with a 122mm cannon), KV-152, U-18, U-19, SU-152, SU-203, and the Zik-20.

Actually that would be Light cruiser since its 150-152mms Heavy cruisers have 203s and up. Some are even Battlecruisers.
