Hi everyone alex_the_snowflake here! Thanks once again for featuring me jingles! My last battle you featured was the 9 kill manticore game on serene coast I believe titled precious snowflake where my team was fighting in chat about who sucked the most while I was defending cap again 3 enemies and trying not to die with my battleship sized gun....lol. But yeah, this battle was pretty fun, was a hunt for 3 marks which is one of my happiest 3 marks to date since the e75 was my very first tier 9 back when I first got into wot like 7 or 8 years ago (don't exactly remember how man years its been) and I enjoy the challenge of 3 marking tanks without a lot of gold. The e75 is still very much a BEAST and one of if not my favorite tier 9 heavy. Idk why my internet decided to crap out on me this match but yeah that lag was getting a bit on my nerves lol. and for those wondering my commander is max von krieger from the waffentrager event last year.

I saw both battles and I personally prefer this one because, you didn't even let a little lag spiking, caused (no doubt) by a pesky solar flair, stop you from dragging your team to victury again! So, congrats on a very entertaining replay. 👍😎

gotta say, this was an intresstinh match. No blowout, but a genuine struggle and moving parts.
This is so uncanny… having not played WOT in about five years,I had a dream last night that I was in an E75 on a make believe map and got up to 9.5k dmg, only for the game to end in a draw because of a pesky LT doing rings around me.

It's honestly just so nice to see someone do well without gold as a handicap, actually proving you can be good at this game just by being aware of what's going on
Amusingly enough, I just got back into WoT after a many year absence, mainly because there is now a Mac client, but I decided to start fresh and I'm in a tier 3 battle and get wrecked by an M2 Light firing nothing but gold ammo....and this continues when I reach tier 4 in the Matilda. Gold gold gold everywhere.
@@HappyTribble yup. Welcome to wot. I know jingles was just making jokes about the 5% of gold wg said and tried to rationalize it but it's from tier 1-10, the games full of these dirt bags who couldn't play at all without it
Still you have to see that he was top tier here reducing the necessity for gold rounds to do consistent damage...
@@belacqua2424 yeah you'd think that. Idk what server you play on but the NA sever is full of window lickers using tier 8s to spam gold at tier 6s and tier 10s spamming gold at tier 8s

I had a difficult time a few yrs ago, & watching Jings WoT vids thu' it is something of a good memory: I wish you'd play a few games & up 'em, Paul.
I’m always on the team that has the following; 1) the guys that say the title says assault so we gotta assault even though we are on the defend side, 2) ALL the heavies & some meds push north on the 1 line and feel they gotta push to the red team spawn leaving the rest of us to try to hold the south, usually out numbered 3-1.
It's always nice to see that you can still have good rounds without spamming gold
The number of battles you watch, I can't imagine remembering any of them.
I was half expecting to see a major disaster in this replay due to lag. You got me Jingles. :)

Really loved to see how he lead the line and how much of his team followed his lead as well. E-75 was my first tier 9 and was always a joy to play, especially when premium rounds where still gold rounds and before it got overtaken by powercreep.
E75 isn't overtaken - it's still one of the best tier IX heavies.
With those lag spikes it looked like my normal gaming on WoT...:)

Given the lag spikes, that push out at the end for an extra shot was needlessly risky. Very nearly left the cap as it was.
The moment you said "controlled aggression" all I could think of was the score system for robot wars "damage, control, style and agression"
E75 is such a hot tank. I coomed when I first unlocked 128mm gun. I still remember my first shot. I ammo racked an IS6 OMEGALUL.
Yes, enjoyed the video Jingles - and great point there for pointing out something I had not paid much attention to, that of the ten minutes for assault mode. Normally I don't last long enough to experience "full time".😂 Thank you.

The E75 is still a great tank honestly, probably one of the best tech tree heavies in the game. It was falling behind but got buffed 2 or so years back.

For those of you wondering, alex_the_snowflake has featured before on the channel. The video Precious Snowflake has our intrepid hero drive the Manticore to victory. He goes under the moniker of HEBREW HAMMER on TH-cam. He really put the Manticore’s battleship sized gun to good use. It’s 105mm (or 4.13 inches if you prefer using the wrong measurement system) battleship gun. Yeah, don’t know what Wargaming were smoking when they said British light tanks are armed with battleship sized guns.

I'm glad you've shown this video because I've been really frustrated. Every time I an in the mode and attacking, my team just camp at the back for eight minutes and then decide to push for the last two minutes. Always ends by running out of time.
You almost gotta wonder why he didn’t push ahead with the T30. Then again, reading the chat maybe he was after damage for his 3 Mark rather than the win.
@@playwme3 Ill admit I was playing a little passive, but considering the lag spikes and the fact that ive learned the hard way to not be to aggressive(like the t30 was) or you will get punished. I wasn't playing just for the marks I always try to play for the win.
@@hebrewhammer4086 , yeah fair enough. The lag spikes lately have been nuts. Does make it pretty hard when you get caught out. Suppose it would have been just as risky pushing forward as holding back. I’ve seen a lot of Assault games lost from teams not willing to push in though.

Love the E75
In an old video by lemmingrush there is an important concept of wot games explained.
Due to the fact that the center of most maps is unplayable in the early game, the flanks are where the initial gameplay happens. With that in mind, most games of wot end up one of two ways.
Either one team wins both flanks and the game ends fairly fast with a fairly lopsided kill count or each team with one flank apiece. The former are much harder to get good games in because you never get the chance to kill tanks in both flanks. The latter is great because it's where the difference between a good player and a great player shine.
I bring this up because this video is a perfect example of the latter and what to do in that situation in a heavy. You don't rush in and die, you don't run away and get caught off guard by a medium or heavy pushing from the other side. You dig in and take every single opportunity you are given. This was a very well played game, snowflake deserves that third mark through and through.

Hey this is alex the snowflake. I went into this match knowing I was at 94.60. So when I started getting around the 4k dmg mark I knew I was REAL close, and then when I broke 6k I knew for sure I got it :)
when you get your first MoE, go into you your stats and click on that tank - and it will show your MoE %
Would have been really awkward if he had a lag spike while driving towards the edge of the cap and drove out.

Ahh yes, the E-75. The pride of my humble WoT account, the only tier 9 tank and the highest tier tank that I have, dusting away in their server since I stopped playing the game.

i don’t understand why, but of all the games I play, only WoT has such a consistently shoddy connection(likely also packet loss).
Trust me, I have it as well. During the day it's completely fine, but it's after 8 PM when the lag spikes really start. It's weird, because other games like WOWS don't seem to suffer from this.
@@tomvsas I don't Plat WoT much so I can't comment there, but WoWS is just as bad of late in my experience. Lagging and disconnections (if I can even get in at all) have made the game unplayable.

Is there a special commander for German tanks in WoT, similar to Jingles in WoWS for Britidh ships? There was a ranting, maniacal voice laughing and bellowing commands after every shot by snowflake that reminded me of Hitler newsreels from WWII...
I've had my best ever game in my m36 Jackson when my ping was in the garbage at less than 20 something ping.
A proper match that was won rather than thrown (though the enemy push down the middle might look like a throw, against many 'teams' it would have destabilised the attack so much that they'd never have capped out)

Good one Jingles. This game shows just how much fun heavy tank battle can be without a continuous artillery barrage. GG Alex, you snowflake.
Bit weird though why he started sniping from behind the rock while his TD's pushed the southside where it wasn't open ground at all. Jingles says it is open ground, but the E75 could've just pushed with his td's and get behind one of those rocks in the south. But who cares, he won anyway.

If you lag, does that mean that the server thinks you've already driven farther than your own monitor shows?
Or does the server not process the moves you've made, keeping you in place and vulnerable?
I expect the difference between those two would have big effects on your survivability, right?
can happen either way in WoT, just depends on what your last input was
that's the really frustrating thing- you can't plan for one of them to happen because if you do you can be guaranteed the other one will

Dear Jingles, disregarding how impossible it might sound but WG has buffed E100 line while ago. KT became way better as well as the E75 and even E100. Cheeks are not autopen for all now. E75 is really good heavy tank. It always have had that nice Alpha damage spot and gun works better now. Armor is good considering the meta were armor does not mean much. So yeah good tank and German. Actually nowadays you have quite a few good German tanks in the Game. Personally I love Leopard PR A and 1. I hate RNG and Leo does hit better.

Without premium AND daily mission that match would've been a net loss in credits.
No idea why the WZ-120 left the cap circle with 15 secs left to win by capping and extended the game by another 16 secs. A reset on anyone in the cap would have lost it for them.
No no, campfire works in am assault mode game, since the defenders generally do nothing but pitch tents light campfire and do not move out

I don't play anymore and part of it was the frustration of watching too many teammates doing the exact opposite if what winning, or having a chance to win, required. The poster child for this was Assault matches. Being on the Offense was bad enough with too may guys playing too passively, but Defense was worse. Defense should actually almost never lose. You just literally play defensively, make the other guys have to expose, fire from out of cover, etc. But nope, Dufuss McDumbfark and his two buddies have to charge out and go 3v9 in our top tier heavies. I guess if you have a penis and can think you are a girl, you can yolo-cide and call it defense.

I'm not the kind of guy to instantly accept his mistakes in public, but oh man I would probably have flamed and blamed this guy for "camping" that rock and sniping in a heavy tank if I was in this game with him. And of course I would have been wrong because he was kinda stuck there and also it was a beautifull position.
Something I have noticed in these games is that the term 'assault' really isn't with wargaming games. WOWS suffers from the same thing, BB's are discouraged from 'assaulting' even when they have a gunline at their back. Makes the games real boring and static.
Lag spikes on replay only shows fraction of the real lag.
