    Gotta love how ridiculous the government is about a piece of metal that makes a firearm slightly quieter so it won’t blow your eardrums out in close quarters or so you can hunt without earplugs just because of some fictional movies. Thanks big daddy government I love your bs!

      It believe it was actually an anti poaching initiative that drove public support in the early 20th century. But the ATF is just responsible for enforcing it. It’s not technically their fault. BUT… since the safe hearing act didn’t pass with Republicans controlling both chambers and the White House, i think it ain’t going anywhere anytime soon. Pony up that 200.

    It sounds like the ATF likely enters the paperwork into a computer to digitize everything to be processed easier. Once the data is entered it would be inserted into a queue to be processed. It sounds like they're using an unordered queue, where when a file gets processed has no relation to when it was entered.

    • @RdeneckTech
      @RdeneckTech 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There are not that many caliber types. If you have a .22LR or a 5.56 AR15, they are both 22 caliber rounds and you need a 22 caliber suppressor. .300BLK .308 7.62X39 and .338 Lapua are all examples of a 30 caliber round and tou need a 30 caliber suppressor. I am confident that those are the most commonly owned calibers, however, .45ACP, 44Magnum, .50BMG....etc. All fire a 50 caliber projectile, or 1/2 inch in diameter. 22 caliber, 30 caliber, and 50 caliber all refer to the diameter of the projectile, no matter how much powder is behind it. Find your projectile diameter and you have your minimum suppressor requirements. Hope this helps.
