If you were to pay your friend for all the time he is spending converting the Jeep, would it have been cheaper and better for your and his time to have converted a legitimate wrangler unlimited instead?
This guy clearly doesn’t watch the channel. Jade is it. There is no other, “legitimate wrangler”. There has always been discussion about mods to Jade. What difference would it make if it was this Jeep or another? How would lengthening another Jeep save time? I started watching when I was living in my truck in the city.. when you first started your "daily" vlogs in the sail boat. Now as time passes and I have a place with a Roof over my head when I watch your videos I get the freedom feeling of how I truly be felt when I was in my truck few years back. I honestly can't describe the feeling but the joy and happiness I really had when I camped in my mazda. When I see your intro when you said you were gonna live in your Jeep I knew that feeling that you had to drift off and focus on you and your health. I felt the same feeling living in a really bad neighborhood at the time and promised myself yeah.. this might suck at first. But wow I loved it and never felt more alive or like I was caged in thier. I look up to you and was excited about every upload when I was sleeping in my passenger seat 😂. Don't stop the content Jake because the times I felt so alone and your videos popped up I knew I wasn't the only one doing this.
Hey jake, I just wanted to say how proud of you and inspired I have been by you. I can’t believe you have stuck with it for this long. After you lost a lover, a father, and all your gear. I knew that had to be the end of the journey. I remember watching the video of you in the rain defeated talking about how you couldn’t do it like this anymore. I thought that meant you were done but what it meant was you had to modify yourself, Jade, and to grow as a person. You truly hold up a military bearing and a since of drive that most people don’t have or would of gave up because of the harsh conditions. I’m a veteran like yourself and I thought I had my life together after being life flighted out of a combat zone and leaving the military unwillingly. I was betrayed by my friends and family when I needed help and had to sell my home and became in debt. I had escaped my prison but now that I have lost everything I have actually looked forward to living in my jeep and have been working on different set ups and doing tests runs. I just want brush off the dirt and start again. I just need to modify my jeep and my life. Jake you have a “Soldier on” mentality and an inspiration. V/r

You've become a staple for many of us who live vicariously through you while maintaining our "traditional" lifestyles of sleeping in beds and driving "boring" vehicles to work every day. You're living my fantasy life for sure. That being said, it's important for us to remember that Jake is a human being, learning as he goes, with no production staff. He's doing this with no formal training and yes, the donations and selfless help from others are helping him make that happen, but no one is forced to contribute in order to watch these videos where he opens up some of the most personal aspects of his life to complete strangers. You do you, Jake. The rest of us will take what we can get when it comes.

With the frequent breaks and with tent camping included it's probably been less than 18 months. Still great, but the "IN" Jeep part is misleading. A old jeep is way more sturdy and reliable then a new gm jeep, you tried but you failed. Stop being negative
