Two things I would add ...
First, parabolic softboxes are a huge waste of space given that the diffusion completely negates the directional nature of a parabolic modifier. Just use a regular softbox or octabox and save space.
Second, and this is my personal taste, for indoor modifiers use square or rectangular softboxes as windows tend to be those shapes and thus the catchlights will be much more natural looking. Round modifiers used outdoors will produce more natural catchlights given that the sun is round.
I agree! I made this video specifically for the questions asking how to use aputure lights in small spaces. I'd figure I'd tackle the underlying issue without advising to anything specific beyond a bounce of some sort.

To add to this cool set up I can imagine bouncing a colder light into the ceiling for the background can create a really cool separation.

How do you light a talking head in office environment with pesky fluorescence lighting? Avoid it like a plague or what? 🤮😉
Ha! Avoid avoid avoid! I turn off all house lights or block or pull the bulbs out and replace with kinos if the lights need to be in the shot. There is no quick fix for that in post. Fix it in camera! Thanks Martin for watching and the comment!

@@RafaelLudwig I neglected to add his name. Craig Ferguson. It was dramatic. In early seasons he was a natural human color palette. Then by the end I was concerned that he may have been stoically suffering congestive heart failure. But I have seen him since he abandoned his broadcast. He looks normal again.
