You are way better than you think at fishing Andrew and I have enjoyed every video you have made and shared with us. Thank you for taking us to this beautiful place and slaying it. I'm looking forward to a new year of getting out there myself but also can't wait to see what you and Jon bring us this year. And always tight lines. Thanks, Tony
Really cool watching you pick apart the smallest spots of quiet water and hooking those fish at close range. Less casting keeps the ice on the rod guides to a minimum too. Good stuff Andrew and thanks for posting
What a great day on the water! I see WV is going to be very cold next week. I'm enjoying the 80 degree days here in Ft Lauderdale hitting canals for peacocks!
Beautiful scenery as is usual in the winter in Colorado. You’re better than I am cause I’m a wuss in cold weather. Thanks for a great video and the care you always take with the fish.
Recently visited this spot with my family and saw a lot of anglers not having much luck. Definitely want to get out there in some harsh conditions like this.
I really enjoyed this one proving that despite the cold there were still masses of fish about. My was it cold, I realized just how cold it was when I converted those F°s into centigrade. You should get yourself some neoprene gloves, they'll keep you warm, are 100% waterproof and not bulky so you don't have to take them off to unhook the fish. Fabulous scenery let's see more of it, really looking forward to your next fishing session video.
Amazing that these fish are so active, including willing to chase your streamer, at such low temps. How do trout, which are obviously cold-blooded, manage to have enough energy? They don't even have much fat for insulation....
Love your content! Maybe use a headmount for the gopro? I feel like we miss out on a good chunk of the action because we're looking at your arms or the ground.
I think the fish you caught the second day with smaller spots was a cutthroat. Cutbows tend to have larger spots more like Rainbows, but you can't tell for sure. Anyway, the location you were fishing has all three varieties plus Browns. I am not very good at streamers. I like your technique. I will have to try it. What was the streamer you were using?
I've really been enjoying your content, I'm new to fly fishing and you are a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to get out there and just fish. I was wondering if you are barbless, just curious if you have a preference. Thank you for the great footage and thank you for the inspiration!
Awesome job! Congrats on the first fish of 2024! I caught my first rainbow at that place that next day:) But never tried jig streamers there. I think I need to:)
Hey brother, awesome video! I’ve been a subscriber of yours for 3yrs now, but don’t really comment much. I finally pulled the trigger on my first fly fishing outfit from Orvis, a 5/9 to be exact. So I’ll be doing a lot of question asking here soon Lol, and one of my first question to you is, how is it that you got these trout to bite when you’re standing right in front of them? If trout have such great eyesight, how did they not spook off when disturbing the water when you’re walking up to them that close!? Jigging and dangling a fly in front of their face just feet away, I would’ve never thought that, that it would be possible to do what you just did in this video, if I had not seen it with my own eyes! Thanks for the video, tight lines! ~ Manny ~ 🤙🏼
Harsh weather conditions! Fishing wasn’t terrible 😂 Also to be fair this was easily 8 hours of fishing that made up this video. If it were every cast the video would be over an hour long. Thanks for watching!
I got my first brown of the year. I live in CT and the weathers been strange, 18.5 inches! Having good vibes heading into the new season, super excited for spring but hoping to get on some more nice browns in the small streams near me
when did you catch it? I also live in ct, I’ve been trying to find trout spots but haven’t had any luck with a spin setup. Going to try fly fishing this time around
I’m officially giving up on the micro nymphs and going with streamers during the winter.

It's almost a necessity during the winter! Thanks for watching
Stripping Streamers in the snow fishing for brown trout some of the best content out there awesome video again🎣✌️👍
The casting point is very interesting~ Thank you for your video^^
Love the winter season,no other anglers around, just let me freeze in peace.☮️You guys are so much better than anyone else,it’s uncanny.
The winter can be fun if you're willing to work for it! Thanks for watching
You're the best bad fisherman I've seen. Thanks for sharing this magical place with the magical fish within on a beautiful, cold Rocky Mountain day.
Thanks for watching!! Glad you enjoyed it
Plucking them out of the rocks. Love it! Great video Andrew.
Merci!
I'd rather see wv films than any other. Roots!! Love your videos, taught me so much

Nice video! Looks very cold but great with good trout caught!

Great way to start the New Year 👌🏽 👍🏽 I'm in NYC trying to catch up on some trout fishing out here.
Love that spot. Nice work!

Great video. Beautiful place to be. Better a poor fisherman than a good couch potatoe, looking forward to seeing more from HFA,thanks
I was on the john in the middle of a #2 when this came thru the feed. Pumped
You mare it look easy. Well done!

You know it's cold when the snow makes noise as you walk on it!
This south of Denver, CO? That trail looks super familiar.
Yes it is
Great video Andrew! You tore them up for sure. You’re a little tougher than me, I am a fair weather fisherman. Lol
Love your content! Maybe use a headmount for the gopro? I feel like we miss out on a good chunk of the action because we're looking at your arms or the ground.
Can't wait for this year!! I will definitely be watching you and your brother!! Love what you do!!
Thank you so much!! 2024 is going to be amazing!

You slayed them dude !! Great day in the water even though the freezing conditions. Congrats ! I love your videos!
What's funny is that everyone else on that steam is probably fishing size 22 or smaller nymphs. Will have to try jiggin a streamer there!

Awesome as always. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I recently started subscribing to you guys and am totally stoked with your videos! You guys rock!
That's awesome! Thanks for the support!
Never seen that technique. I’m obviously bypassing lots of hot spots. Outstanding fishing sir🫡
SKILLS man! Awesome job! You nailed them and they were all good size! Thanks for braving the elements and taking us with you!
Piękne masz okolice, super klimat 👍✌️ lubię oglądać.jakiej długości używasz przyponu do stremera?pozdrawiam z Polski ✌️👍
I'm gonna get my first ever trout this year
Bro, hello, what fly rod u are using???
Very nice Video
what kind of rod are you using on this fishing trip?
That looks like a 9’ 7w orvis Clearwater, but I could be mistaken
That is one well producing stream for trout, you basically had a fish on every cast.
Awesome job! Congrats on the first fish of 2024! I caught my first rainbow at that place that next day:) But never tried jig streamers there. I think I need to:)
Man u should have ur own channel.
The one with the orange bottom just looked like a cutthroat to me, but I’m no expert and that’s just what I think.
Thank you.
what river is this?
Enjoyed 😀👍

'Harsh conditions' ? You were catching big trout on every cast, just by flicking and jigging the streamer.
I should only have such harsh conditions!
