Was literally wondering about the green soda container and that piece of whatever it was floating by. Props to you gettin that clean and awesomeness on that fatty brown as well. Love seein monsters, beyond important to get them back in there to keep their spawning legacy alive. Beautiful 👊🏼🤙🏼🎣
Great job. The trash cleanup is great also. That may have been from anything, it’s important to remember it’s not always the land owner leaving trash in a stream, sometimes that washes down from roadways and other locations.
Was bummed at seeing all the trash at such a beautiful spot so was really happy to see your subsequent cleanup efforts! Great fish, really nice video, keep up the good work!
Makes me miserable every day when I go out. No matter where I go there is garbage everywhere. Mostly empty worm boxes and tackle plastic. Bottles, beer cans, chip bags. Humans are so shitty it makes me so mad. I try to clean up when I can but when you pack for shore fishing you don’t plan on hauling out a trash bag full of garbage.
What I've always loved about you Hardmans is that you don't hold the fish out of the water for 20 minutes like some of the others do. Thanks for that & for all the gnarly videos!
That’s awesome!!! Congratulations……great job landing that fish by yourself. You hooked 3 huge fish in that hole and landed two….. You are NOT a bad fisherman…..on the contrary….lol. I’m impressed. I am so impressed that you guys cleared some of that trash……respect.
The video was great! The best part though was you had a great experience and then showed your appreciation and went back and cleaned up. Thank you for that. If we all carried out more than we brought in, it would sure clean up fast. Thanks again.
Inspirational, guys. One week in a tiny mountain creek catching beautiful native brook trout, the next catching a giant pb brown. Always superbly filmed in beautiful settings. The best fishing channel bar none.
Thanks for bringing us along on your awesome fishing experience. These small streams seem to be underestimated by many, however, you absolutely prove that giant trout can proliferate even in small streams. It would be extremely nice if you could explain your line/leader and fly setup for those like me that could learn more.
Great stuff, honestly. This is my favorite fishing video Ive got it saved. Excellent spot, awesome fishing, and most of all excellent thoughtful content as usual
Oh man ,,, nothing I love like the feel of a 20 plus brown on the line. And to put it back so someone else can feel it thanks buddy makes a guy happier than to get to April.. really thanks
Another entertaining video, but I’m glad to see you practicing “Leave no trace.” It’s so important to have these places for future generations. Keep them coming.
This video is amazing on so many levels, I love that you kept all the emotions in from losing a fish. I have seen trout this big in Scotland in lochs and some larger rivers, but nothing this big in such a small creek. The messages about trash and fish responsibilty is most important, nobody likes to see crap floating around in such a beautiful surrounding. I live by the motto "leave it cleaner than you found it!" Thanks brother, you are role model for anglers and love your passion.
What an epic outing this was, and what an extraordinary video! Kudos on the PB trout - and deep admiration for the stream clean-up! Thanks so much for sharing with us!
what an amazing catch. 44 years ago, in the the stream leading tp phantom ranch in the grand canyon, there were 5 trout together that were at least this big. never forgot that sight. you're a fine angler.
Man your cinematography and camera skills is stunning and an absolute inspiration to younger youtubers like me. I hope I can follow your footsteps to become as skilled as you. Thanks for the adventure!
Great work, fishing, catching, releasing, and working to preserve the species. Also Major Kudos on your attention to leaving the area better than you found it! I don't understand how other visitors to these beautiful places can leave trash. Here in New England we have the same problems, even out in areas where you have to hike to get to. On every outing my fishing friends and I pick up beer cans and plastic energy drink bottles, even 2-3 miles from a road, left by people who make an effort to get to an "unspoiled place". We just have to keep trying to make a difference, I guess.
I get mega pissed if I lose a 20” stockie bow, a mid 20 wild brown would be devastating and idk if I could keep fishing lol. Of course it’s not so bad when an even bigger fish/pb is in the same exact pool lol. Congrats on the big rainbrown 👌
You and me both! Losing a fish of that size is never fun. And rarely is there any fish in the run that is anywhere near that size. But as I've always said I'd rather be lucky than good! Thanks for watching man
Like your stewardship too. Don't forget to mention that the stream's health is a real indicator that such fine fish thrive there. Wherever it is, kudos to the DNR!!!
Hog brown bro! What size tippet? Thank you for practicing and preaching catch and release habits to help the population! And super props for picking up the trash! Y’all rock!
Fantastic Brown! WOW! Love watching you and your Bro. Have learned from you guys on streamer fishing. Love the Tanks you all pull out of these small creeks. Great attitude to get back after you broke that one off; you need to watch your boy Alex (Trippin On Trout), he is a master at using the levers of the rod butt to fight the fish...Hats off Bro! YOU DA MAN!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the vid. Alex and I actually talk a bit and he's a great dude. Hopefully one day we'll make it out and fish somewhere together, I'm sure he has a few years of experience on me.
Congrats man, that's a hell of a fish. Happy for you Andrew. Glad it was euro nymphing and proves you can get them with any style. Keep up the great work and thanks for cleaning up the stream at the end. Really great to see!
I will never understand the trash thing. We fish some of the prettiest places and to think people leave trash in these same spots is a head scratcher to me. Thank you for doing your part. Oh, one heck of a fish too! Amazing video

Man, I am glad that you caught that big fish. The biggest that I ever caught was 14 inches. I am looking forward to more videos. Thank you for sharing. Tight lines my friend.
And another one Dope guys what a video all around. It’s insane that there are that many tanks in one spot like that especially with that much trash. Here trash usually indicates bait chucking meat eaters that typically clean out places like that with a treble, 16 lb and an egg weight. You guys are truly blessed to have quality water like that where big trout can thrive. Easily rivals any of the western states public creeks. Keep crushing it guys.
Thank you so much! This area does get pressure but I think those fish were migratory and don't always live there. If they did they'd probably already have been caught out.
When I was little I was trout fishing with my dad and I had a huge brown on, I was so excited! But it came off and took my favorite lure with it. I was super bummed. I came back about 2 years later to the same hole and I snagged on some weeds underwater and I reeled the weeds in and on them was the same lure I almost got that huge brown with! It had all the same markings of it being used over the years on it. I still have the lure, and I am never gonna loose it.
Great thing you did, cleaning up after others who don't care about the outdoors! Those were some great fish. Do they live in that stream all their lives or do they run to the G. Lakes?
Man, I just recently subscribed to your channel and I’m glad I did. I’ve literally been up watching videos for passed couple days now and this was a heck of a fight and congrats on the pb.
It’s not hard to tell how panicked you were during that fight, you kept repeating the fundamentals over and over, “keep that line tight, let the drag do the work” 😂 I do the same thing with big fish!! But that one makes mine seem like minnows, what an absolute tank!! Outstanding job man, such a cool moment to have captured on video!!
Honestly sometimes it didn't even make sense what Andrew was saying but It was cool to see how he was trying to talk himself through it. And it worked!! Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the video
Beaut of a fish! I landed a not much smaller brown a couple of years ago and what a blast! And on 4lb test, what a fight! They might not have quite as spectacular a fight as bows do in terms of acrobatics, but between their sudden turns and runs and the general difficulty in inducing strikes, browns can be a tough fish to land! What a high when you get a beauty like that though. Just remember if you do use light tackle and have big long battles everyone...be prepared to sit with that fish in the water for a while. That fish didnt wanna go anywhere for 10 minutes...but when it did it went strongly and I have no doubt it's still ravaging the shrimp populations of the brasdor lakes to this day!
Great video! Great Fish! I noticed some of the Garbage and was thinking how Pathetic it is, that people just leave it like that. But it's Great you 2 toke the time to clean up some! Thank you!

P.s. love how you went back to clean up the trash , gotta give credit were credit is due
The trash is a bit ridiculous. Not sure how much we helped but at least it looks a lot less trashy for now
Also holy crap fly fishing looks so incredibly hard

I noticed that, too. I was wondering if this beautiful creek had the misfortune of flowing near a landfill.
Was just thinking the same thing :(

Well said...I was thinking the same...it's crazy to see such a beautiful place with so much rubbish laying around...😞
Yes tons of trash. Amazing how nature finds away to survive in all that including us.

Thank you!! It's easy to get down on yourself after losing a fish of that caliber. But I'm glad you enjoyed.
The number of huge browns you guys bring in is incredible. Great content as always!
Mostly luck! But when we find them it can be pretty incredible. Thanks for watching!
Let the reel do the job, walk the dog. Dont rush these kind of fish. Keep the rod high and let the rod and the reel do the job.
@@guillaumejacob2295 what? not at all, fight em fast and bring them in and release. Rod high? Thats the worst way to fight a fish. Side pressure.
The good thing is you release that fish i appreciate that man

Great show of love for your river and cleaning up site!
Great to see that fish caught again. Catch and release works! Awesome fish and great video as usual.

Absolutely, as a native of MT it is hard to see folks come to the State and not practice C&R. It will save our sport and our rivers.
