Love this video and really love that you show us the next weeks' project at the end of this video. This was a fun project and it got me excited to paint some more so I'm moving right on to the sliced citrus!

Hey, this was my second effort (I got really busy when I ordered, so I’m JUST getting to these.). Suggestion for future videos. This one started right in on the painting, and I had never traced the pattern before. It was a little disheartening to trace it, and then learn half way through that I needed to use light pressure. My moth has fairly dark lines, eek! Luckily, though, my kit had two pieces of paper, so I am going to do it again. These are really fun! Thanks for helping us all learn to watercolor!!
Thank you for the feed back we appreciate it. Our previous tutorials often had live paint a long versions where Sarah discusses tracing and warm up exercises in each one much like she does now in our current tutorials. It may help to watch one of these.
So funny that you mentioned you were out of paper towels and using toilet paper. I was freaking out because I ran out of paper towels as well🤣 I’m using fast food napkins I found😂

I cannot believe what you just said about your daughter’s name! My niece’s name is Luna Rose, and my grandma was, like, as in lunatic??? All the kids at school are going to tease her, I hate it! My poor little sister was so upset. Best advice ever is exactly what you said, don’t tell people what you’re going to name your children. My twin boy’s name is Baer (bear) and everyone in my family was against it. It just made me more certain of my decision. Hahaha
Messyjessy Warren Luna will be a great name...it’s the Harry Potter generation! Luna Lovegood is very loved by fans, and her name is perfect!

I live in Albany, NY. That is considered the upstate region. I am only short distance from Vermont. I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in education through Hannibal LeGrange University.

Sarah, what kind of paper do you use with your watercolors? I bought 3 kids and it's very unique. I also have 100% cotton, Arches, and that's not quite the same, either.
Hi! Sarah likes using Canson 140lb Cold Press paper.
@@LetsMakeArt Thank you! Is this paper 100% cotton, or something else? A couple of diffetent artists say 100% cotton is the best to use, so I bought Arches 100% cotyon watercolor paper. I then bought 3 of Sarah's kits, and her paper is diffetent from the Arches, but I can't tell if it's cotton or not.
