I am a huge fan of Harriet de Winton (@deWintonPaperCo). Maybe she has been on previous lists ... if not, not :) As a person who learns a lot via TH-cam: photography, video, video editing, other tech stuff ... as well as being a very beginner watercolor painter ... it can be highly personal as to which presenter/teacher resonates with me as well as whatever style I might gravitate toward. I tend to like Harriet's method of teaching and painting style(s) but as things pop up in my feed, I often give a look. Ultimately, there are many talented artists and so many mediums and styles. Best, best wishes to all of the TH-camrs as well as to us learning.

Steve (and Reese) at The Mind of Watercolor here on TH-cam is definitely worth checking out. Steve is a highly skilled watercolor artist that is so fun, and he has a way of breaking things down to let even the most beginner artists feel welcome and comfortable. He has hundreds of videos ranging from landscapes to portraits, go check him out!!!
Love Paul Clark and he has really free sketches with every painting!❤️

I must recommend Charles Evans. He has been teaching and demonstrating for decades. A real natural teacher with humour. His paintings are great too.

Thanks! This is great! We watch all these people but one of our top favos is Steve Mitchell, "Mind of Watercolor". He is very experienced but continues to test and try new things. His subjects are mostly trees and landscapes. He is a VERY good teacher and fun to watch.
I would recommend for next year Maria Racnzynska. She does a 21 days of summer every year as a bonus and teaches a soft loose style while also detailed. Very great at pets and still life.
I love Diane Antonio , she has been so helpful to me this past year…love the loose techniques…

Yong Chen. Absolutely one of my favorite. Only uses 2 goat hair brushes, a flat and a calligraphy, and limited palette - usually 3 primary colors. He is so thorough. “This is good.” Seriously check him out! I mean it. Yong Chen. Guarantee you will love him.

I always look forward to your recommendations, thanks! I would like to suggest Rae Campbell and Shelley Prior both are amazing. Rae paints mainly florals and offers free sketches to follow along. Shelley paints a variety of things and is remarkable.

I am an interior designer and was an aspiring metalsmith, but watercolor called my name earlier this year and I answered. My first purchase was your first book. Thank you for mentioning other artists on TH-cam. Looking back on your channel, I see you've done this a few years and it warms my heart that you highlight others. It's a kind thing for you to do and I'm sure it makes such a difference to those channels AND your subscribers. Thank you!

I may have missed it, did you mention Windswept Design Studio? Absolutely fabulous. You were the first watercolor artist I discovered and it created my love of watercolor. Another great watercolor artist I found is Kendra VanDruff.
She paints beautiful scenery scapes and national parks.
