A very impressive introductory video on the Seiko Pogue. I have a Seiko 6139 myself, and it's a Baby Jumbo (6139-7070) and I am loving it to bits. I missed out on the opportunity of getting a Pogue, so I got the Baby Jumbo instead.
A little bit of addendum on the Seiko 6139 and it being run constantly, I have read from Al Archer, a watchmaker from Canada that used to work on Seiko watches and is an Omega-certified watchmaker, that running a Seiko 6139/6138 (or any vertical clutch chronographs for that matter) constantly is actually ill-adviced as the vertical clutch parts will be prone to seizing together should you let it run and not let it stop once in a while. I actually had that experience letting my Seiko 6139 run constantly heeding to that "letting it run" advice, the movement had seized - meaning the timekeeping function of the watch now works only when the chronograph is engaged, and when the chronograph has been disengaged - timekeeping function stopped, and it meant replacing the vertical clutch assembly. As the vertical clutch parts getting rarer by the hour on the Seiko 6139/6138 movement, and servicing them being neigh impossible (I don't actually know how my local watchmaker was able to "unseize" my chronograph, for a lack of a better term, probably they had spares or did some black magic to it), you'd like to preserve the parts than to letting it wear some more, so let the chronograph run - and let it run with the chronograph function off...

I'm personally not a fan of this dial and the prices are hugely overinflated for what they are.
The original worn by Capt Pogue was a really beat up example and had aftermarket parts when it sold at auction and did you know there's no concrete proof it's a 6005, (it's assumed so as it was claimed to have been bought on the PX at the base he was serving on but no photographic or documented evidence exists), so it's amusing that so many rant about originality although the popularity of this model has led to many frankenwatches with aftermarket parts.
For the cost you're better sticking to many of the other better looking models like the baby jumbo and so on.
I have a couple of speedtimers but in black and blue dial.
Re the chrono running continuously, that is to say.
'The default state of the chronograph should be running whenever it's not in use, this is because when stopped the clutch arms are putting the spring under pressure, like any spring, if stored compressed over time it will weaken and the memory of the metal will retain the newer shape, in this case that means the spring pressure is inadequate to provide adequate friction to drive over the minute recorder leading to inaccurate readings from the chrono or the seconds hand stopping at the 58 seconds mark.'
I've seen numerous like this and at a time parts were plentiful these were swapped out, you cannot strip and rebuild these and what you can do with them is limited and once the spring tension is gone, it's gone and useless.
So, it can (and should) be used, start, stop reset etc as that's what it's designed for but when unused or sitting in the watch box in rotation the chrono should be left in the running position.
The only thing that could cause the clutch to stick would be corrosion and corrosion would be down to moisture ingress which indicates a damp environment and poor seals.
