Trying Mexican food in downtown Cancun!Mexico 🇲🇽 our 55th county as a couple 👏🙌 finally! We’ve been in Mexico before, but only for a day trip, so it didn’t count. But after a ten-hour flight from Madrid, we sat foot in Cancuún, Mexico.
The first couple of days we just relaxed, enjoying the beach, and spending our time doing “nothing”. 🏖️🏝️⛱️
But then we felt the urge to get out of the Hotel zone, with all its tourists, needing something more authentic! 🌮🕍
Downtown Cancun you can find a food market near Parque de las Palapas, here we had a delicious vegetarian taco, and at the Mercado 28 we ordered plenty of food, in a not so traditional mix, still it was really good! It was most needed to refuel in the heat. 🦐🍟🥕😅
Strolling downtown Cancún, you also find a lot of street art 🖼️ and the whole area is a mix of calm small streets and busy traffic on the main avenues. 🚙🚗🚙
Hope you’ll enjoy Cancún, both inside the Hotel zone and downtown. It’s easy to go between them, use the red buses R1 & R2, for 12:50 pesos, 0,60 cents. 🚌👍
