If you experience issues with the Annotation Pencil not drawing on the surface. When it’s selected, go to the top left and make sure “Placement” is set to “Surface” instead of 3D Cursor

i have this problem quite a lot. as soon as i apply ridged body physics to my cube instead of falling on to the plane it goes wild and acts as if it has been collided with

hello thanks for your great tutorial
i just have a problem in part of the Breaking the Floor
my broken glass instead of falling down It goes scattered

Once you apply the cell fracture, add a rigid body to only one of the floor pieces, make sure it’s set to active and change the “Shape” to “Mesh” so it’s more precise. Then select all the pieces. (Make sure the one you added the rigid body to is the last one selected) Then go to Object > Rigid Body > Copy from Active
Let me know if you still have the same issue

I also experienced something similar at first but redid it and didn’t experience the problem again, wish I remembered exactly what the issue was so I could help.

I had the problem of the die flying away instead of falling to the Plane. In Object Mode I selected the Plane, went to Physics then to Rigid Body, under Collisions I changed Shape to Mesh. Then it worked for me. Using Blender 4.0 on Linux.
