None of these are commonly eaten by Indians on a daily basis, yet it is the diabetes capital of the world. This is because of the consumption of syrupy Indian sweets that are often fried and/or soaked in sugar syrup. So the enemy across the world is sugar. It should be limited in cultivation. Cos sugarcane needs a lot of water while it’s growing that depletes ground water levels, and the consumption of sugar in excess causes all sorts of illnesses.
You're absolutely right! Taking the time to read, research, and educate ourselves about various topics, including health and nutrition, can lead to a better understanding of the information available to us. Knowledge empowers us to make informed decisions about our health and well-being.
This has nothing to do with the fruit itself, it's how the fruit is prepared with added sugar. Bananas are high in fiber which controls the levels of sugar going into the bloodstream.
As a side note, canned fruit should be avoided and any food stored in tins/cans contain higher levels of salicylates too so should be avoided if you have a sensitivity to salicylates/intolerance or allergy to aspirin. Not linked to blood pressure but interesting info for anyone who reads this who it may affect. 🙂 Sugar also aids clotting of the blood / is a coagulant and encourages strokes and heart attacks.

It is crucial to prioritize the health and well-being of both the mother and the baby during breastfeeding. If you are considering taking or continuing blood pressure (BP) medication while breastfeeding, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional, such as your doctor or a lactation consultant. The safety of specific medications during breastfeeding can vary, and some medications may pass into breast milk and potentially affect the baby. Therefore, it's important to have a discussion with your healthcare provider, who can consider your medical history, the specific medication you are taking, and its potential effects on your baby. In some cases, there may be suitable alternatives or adjustments to your medication regimen that can be made to ensure the safety of both you and your baby. Your healthcare provider can help weigh the potential risks and benefits and guide you in making an informed decision that considers both your health needs and the well-being of your infant. Always follow the guidance and recommendations of your healthcare provider when it comes to taking medications during breastfeeding or any other health-related concerns. They are best equipped to provide personalized advice based on your specific situation. Additionally, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet and regular physical activity, can also play a role in supporting your overall health during breastfeeding. It's important to note that individual responses to specific foods can vary. While some people may tolerate popcorn well, others may find that consuming large quantities of it affects their blood pressure. If you have concerns about how popcorn or any other food may be affecting your blood pressure, it's advisable to monitor your blood pressure regularly and consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian. They can provide personalized advice based on your health status and help you make dietary choices that align with your health goals. In general, enjoying popcorn in moderation as part of a balanced diet, along with other nutrient-dense foods, is likely to be a reasonable approach. Remember that a healthy lifestyle, which includes regular physical activity and a well-rounded diet, is crucial for maintaining overall well-being, including heart health.
Bananas also have magnesium. Bananas were recommended by both my cardiologist & dietician for the magnesium & potassium. Unless you eat several ripe bananas every day, the sugar should not be a problem.
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 Right, it’s better not to eat a lot of very ripe bananas, but it’s healthy to eat one or two not ripe bananas for their magnesium & potassium especially if you’re taking blood thinners.

Preservatives are often added to dried fruits to extend their shelf life, prevent spoilage, and maintain their color and texture. While preservatives can help prevent the growth of harmful microorganisms and maintain the quality of dried fruits, some people may have concerns about their potential effects on health. Common preservatives used in dried fruits include sulfur dioxide and sulfites. These compounds are used to prevent browning and preserve the fruit's color. However, some individuals may be sensitive to sulfites and experience adverse reactions such as headaches or allergic symptoms. If you have concerns about preservatives or sensitivities to specific additives, you may consider the following options: Choose Unsulfured Dried Fruits: Look for dried fruits labeled as "unsulfured" or "sulfite-free." These products do not contain sulfur dioxide or sulfites. Read Labels: Check the ingredient list on the packaging to see if any preservatives, including sulfur dioxide or sulfites, are listed. Opt for Organic Dried Fruits: Organic dried fruits are less likely to contain synthetic preservatives. However, they may still use natural preservatives like citric acid or vitamin C. Make Your Own: You can also make your own dried fruits at home using a dehydrator or an oven. This way, you have full control over the ingredients and can avoid adding preservatives. Moderation: If you choose to consume dried fruits with preservatives, consider consuming them in moderation as part of a balanced diet. It's important to note that while preservatives can help extend the shelf life of dried fruits, consuming a variety of fresh and whole foods is generally recommended for optimal health. If you have specific dietary concerns or sensitivities, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian.

I don't eat or drink any of the mentioned on your video. I like apples and that's the fruit I eat the most. I do eat other fruits but all in moderation, the same with raw vegetables.
That's a great approach to maintaining a balanced and healthy diet! Apples are a nutritious and delicious fruit choice, rich in fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants. Incorporating a variety of fruits and vegetables in moderation is an excellent way to ensure you receive a wide range of nutrients and health benefits. By eating different fruits and raw vegetables, you provide your body with various vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, contributing to overall well-being. Remember that moderation is key to enjoying a diverse diet while still maintaining a healthy balance. Keep up the good work and continue to explore new fruits and vegetables to add variety and excitement to your meals. Eating a colorful and diverse array of natural foods is a great way to support your health and enjoy a tasty and fulfilling diet.

There is never a full explanation of objection to bananas except to say that it is sweet. I grew up eating lots of bananas. Never had a problem, never been obese. Bananas compete well against apples and that might be its only problem. Are there population studies showing an issue with bananas? ANYTHING?
thank you for your videos
So glad im 85. In a 45 year body.

Hello
Thank you for your advise I love eating a lot of ripe banana, now that you have mentioned that it's one of the worst kind of fruit I will have to limit my intake, not that I have high BP just to be safe n healthy.
Thanks, Yahu from PNG.
Wow ! This is very interesting !! Banana is bad ,too !? Oh -! Because of high potassium ? Or sugar ? Or for both !? 🤔I'll keep watching til the end ! 👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶💞

@@Ann_Miller_Proves_GOD Yes ,I know that was what this video said !! Thanks .
I think it is not a comment i would like to tank u for advice however i have question, i like POP Corn and take every day doth it has side effect. regarding to blood pressor 👍👍👍👍 thanks.
Thanks for sharing information.for the good health about high blood pressure

Cranbwrry juice helps your kidneys
Hello thakns u much i learn a lot about prohibeted fruits for High blood preassure ❤😂
Bananas have high potassium that flush out sodium. They're bad? I agree with everything else but I'm not sure bananas are bad.
to much sugar, not enough potassium
Avoid the very ripe ones. You might as well go ahead and eat a candy bar!!😁
Bananas also have magnesium. Bananas were recommended by both my cardiologist & dietician for the magnesium & potassium. Unless you eat several ripe bananas every day, the sugar should not be a problem.
@@sharynloshakoff5404 If you eat very ripe bananas, the Sugar content is High. Best to either eat them green or when they first start to turn yellow!😉
@@gloriamaryhaywood2217 Right, it’s better not to eat a lot of very ripe bananas, but it’s healthy to eat one or two not ripe bananas for their magnesium & potassium especially if you’re taking blood thinners.
The part about bananas and grapefruit surprised me. Thank you.

What about preservatives added to dried fruit like apricots, etc.
If you have concerns about preservatives or sensitivities to specific additives, you may consider the following options:
Choose Unsulfured Dried Fruits: Look for dried fruits labeled as "unsulfured" or "sulfite-free." These products do not contain sulfur dioxide or sulfites.
Thank you. @@HeartDiseaseCode

How about CASHEW NUTS with high blood pressure?
As I sit here, eating unsalted cashews my wife purchased for me this morning, this Q is quite appropriate.
I eat everything in moderation.
Thanks to the information
Thank you very much for your education and God bless you.
You are very welcome
Thanks for the info

Grapefruit are healthy and will lower hypertension on their own. Perhaps get rid of BP meds altogether, instead of Grapefruit!

HELLO and GREETINGS from Ontario, Canada. THANK YOU for another informative video. My Dietitian Instructor was telling me the same thing about bananas. The riper the banana, the higher the sugar content. I only save the very ripe bananas when baking banana bread and I cut way back when adding sugar to the banana bread recipe. 🍌🍌
I’d rather not talk to a doctor, not since the pandemic started. I don’t trust doctors anymore.
