How ya feeling about vexing bobble with the mana taxing effects negating the counter ability of the bobble? I can see having to maneuver through it, but does it seem worth the hassle?
I think Vexing Baulbe is so poweful that it is worth the hassle. It can just win games if you play it out on the play t1 and enables you to resolve key cards like Null Rod for instance. The paradox of running Sphere's with Bauble is real, but so far I feel the bennifit outweight's the risk. If you are resolving Sphere's and Null Rod's you are likley ahead in the game. I am still learning about Bauble and how it's play patterns work, but I think it impacts every deck in Vintage and most importantly how it affects your keeping opener's. For example opening up Lotus, Mox, Mox and 1 land with great spells on the draw. Hard to ship hands like that for fear of Baulbe coming down.
