I feel like Josh got greedy using his last control resources to essentially kill off two opponents when you should really use your position to defend yourself. Honestly deserved.
Honestly he controlled the game really well. His biggest misplay was at the end when he wasted the last of his interaction to get Jimmy and Ben killed instead of keeping his eyes on the person who kept the seven best cards out of half their deck.
I get that feeling, Jimmy. You play nice, clean Magic, only to be ruined for it by players scared of what you are doing, and not scared of what other's decks are capable of.
Josh's worst performance to date. Kills his own commander by ignoring Jimmy's kind warning, then proceeded to punish Jimmy for Josh's mistake and gets hoisted by his own petard over the graveyard. Incredible.
Shout out to all the contestants. Jimmy & josh are the best! Olivia is just lovely and it saddens me to hear that she went through a hard time due to the bans! And DrLupo is a very very funny guy...bring him more often 😂
Not saving his interaction against a player who chose the best 7 cards out of 50+ cards to instead keep jimmys counterspell from going through was the biggest misplay. With no blockers and only 5 and 1 life with no more mana for interaction they were likely to be taken out by Olivia and in worst case scenarios no haste enabling from them. Josh was safe, his eyes should have stayed on Olivia.

JLK consistently making bad plays to hobble Jimmy is impressive. Even if it weren’t petty it’s just a lot of not optimal plays threat wise
I dunno what was wrong with Josh this game. Usually thought he would be quite the good player but this game he was just a little confused targeting Jimmy all game. Very happy he didn't get to win at the end
Ohhhhgoooddddd
JOSH WAS A PAIN IN THE ASS THE ENTIRE GAME
why
@@MrRomanrin pettiness
The intro credit animation is absolutely FANTASTIC!! Reminded me of the animated Redwall series that came out awhile back. Keep up the great work GK team! You are appreciated!!
I wish I got to see more of Jimmy's deck!! It looked really cool
I feel like Josh got greedy using his last control resources to essentially kill off two opponents when you should really use your position to defend yourself. Honestly deserved.
What was Josh smoking this game
Honestly he controlled the game really well. His biggest misplay was at the end when he wasted the last of his interaction to get Jimmy and Ben killed instead of keeping his eyes on the person who kept the seven best cards out of half their deck.
The ol Bloomburrow Bush Kush
Josh just give us a good example of how a salty player will play and others will feel so we all won’t be one ourself😂
“I gotta say, for a 1/5, she’s got a lot of wagon” 😂
She got a lot 😏
Shallot voice: *haha, im a furry!*
I hate that almost everyone I know that plays this game and noticed that had that same reaction. Actually, I take that back; it’s a funny reaction.
@@prestongiles9917OwO
That deep relieved exhale when you win is maybe my favorite thing in Commander.
Hey Josh, small tip, the deck style is called "Group Hug" not "Ben Hug". Easy mistake to make. Poor Jimmy haha
I get that feeling, Jimmy. You play nice, clean Magic, only to be ruined for it by players scared of what you are doing, and not scared of what other's decks are capable of.
i guess its back to the josh hate wagon
Never left 😎
Josh was unbelievably petty that game.
"SHE'S TRYING TO GO TO MARKET" made me cackle
Everyone trying to protect Ms. Bumbleflower got me, like darn ya'll!
Josh's worst performance to date. Kills his own commander by ignoring Jimmy's kind warning, then proceeded to punish Jimmy for Josh's mistake and gets hoisted by his own petard over the graveyard. Incredible.
Justice for Jimmy! Josh really said "no fun" this game. Glad to see Olivia win this one!
This game made me realize what a nightmare it would be to playing against JLK. He seemed like such a child this game
I don't know I think the evil villain style is pretty funny. Nothing stood out as being overtly obtrusive or inappropriate for the game.
Josh has so much pain in his eyes when giving other people cards
Almost makes you wonder why he chose BumbleFlower
Mysympathygoesthisfar.
Not hitting graveyards with Farewell was a real punt, even with the few options in his own graveyard
“Are we all going to die as we cut to mid roll?!” I died😂
I just checked the remaining time on the video too! I felt so called out
Intense. I can't believe it was over so quickly. I honestly thought Jimmy and Josh's friendship was over in this game. Glad he didn't rage quit.
That opening was adorable asf y’all have to give whoever drew that little frog a raise 😭
It was me! And my friend, Robyn! I'm @creepepaper and she's @nickelartstudio ❤
@@creepepaper It felt good to do some good ol' animating! 🖤✨
@@creepepaper amazing job soooo cute
Shout out to all the contestants. Jimmy & josh are the best! Olivia is just lovely and it saddens me to hear that she went through a hard time due to the bans! And DrLupo is a very very funny guy...bring him more often 😂
I kinda was like Josh not getting ride of graveyards would come back to bite him 😂
Not saving his interaction against a player who chose the best 7 cards out of 50+ cards to instead keep jimmys counterspell from going through was the biggest misplay. With no blockers and only 5 and 1 life with no more mana for interaction they were likely to be taken out by Olivia and in worst case scenarios no haste enabling from them. Josh was safe, his eyes should have stayed on Olivia.
one of the greatest if not the greatest games I´ve ever seen, loved the new guest, electric personality
bro what was josh smoking this game so I can know never to smoke the same thing lol. Targeting every single thing jimmy did and preventing him from having any fun betrays the entire premise of a casual, FUN, commander game. I get being petty at home games but this is Game Knights, THE biggest edh show and I feel like the guy who's been here from day one should know better than to do that lmao
I'm sorry, Josh had that loss coming, he was a bit of a bully this game.
It's so awesome that you guys went from playing in a kitchen to having a new set design ever episode and card animations. It's very impressive and is such a good product.
Josh was kind of a dick to jimmy. He didn't even let him get established.
Josh complaining about his commander costing so much like he didn't make it die several times by trying to spite Jimmy.
I'm not seeing enough love for the animated intro at 2:59. It was *fantastic* - it fit so well! Love how there's even that grain/colour bleed from old TVs!
Not even an UB card in sight! That's what I love! Amazing episode and wp to everyone. Jimmy was there all the way, he was always stopped before he could do anything. I think he was a huge part of the game and hope I can see that deck again!
I do think they missed the chance to finally print the 15 squirrel summon card with a dead emrakul on the art.
@@washadano 'or more'. Make them have exactly 15 and have them fight instead of punch
That was honestly an insane game to watch! As a new (New like: a month new) player, its incredible to learn and watch experienced players throw everything they have to make an amazing, and balanced game. So entertaining, thank you guys, helps a lot to learn the mechanics :D
Josh just king-maked Lupo and Olivia the whole game while shutting Jimmy down. 😂
literally smh
@tylerbrooks145 you're probably right but JLK held a grudge forever 😂
@@tylerbrooks145I disagree. Josh ignored a lot of threat assessment just to target Jimmy. Sure he gave him some cards at the end, but he made too many spiteful plays that ended up costing him the game
@@tylerbrooks145he destroyed the sword to deny Jimmy an untap while everyone else had nearly infinitly more mana than him, that play, while at the same time ensuring Lupo kept two of his best cards in hand, it was total and pure spite that would have me making a deal with the rest of the table to leave me alone and let me focus Josh until either I take him out then I'll scoop or he takes me out himself.
@@tylerbrooks145 You mean when he specifically warned Josh not to block because he would kill his commander, only for Josh to block anyway? Josh is dumb.
Watching Josh play this episode was maddening. Really felt like he just wanted to troll Jimmy as much as possible. The catharsis watching him lose was incredible
“They say we‘re nuts, and there right“ Got me.
POWER TO THE SQUIRELLS THEY WILL TAKE OVER ALL
6:06
yeah
Best Commander Tagline yet, tbh
LOVED that intro to Hazel!
"and THEY'RE right"...ffs...
Josh losing after being an ass to jimmy the whole time was such a chef’s kiss 🤌🏽
Before watching the actual gameplay, I felt the need to comment to say how much I enjoyed the animated intro! I got a nostalgic rush of endorphins dating back to my childhood watching that intro because it reminded me of an opening intro in a cartoon or movie! Hats off to the editors and creative design team for that wonderful intro and the anthropomophization of the cute forest creatures into each of the players. 🎉🎉
Thank you ❤❤❤
Lupo did great and was fun to watch. Definitely put him back on the show!
I love the opening to the Bloomburrow episode, it kinda reminds me of the Redwall Abbey Books I read in High School. So I am so excited for this set and even more excited for the Squirreled Away Precon, its going to be awesome and epic. This is by far my all time favorite episode this year. I really love Olivia's deck, it is awesome 😍😍😍😍
"WHAT KIND OF LITERAL HARE-BRAINED PLAY IS THAT?!" is the best insult joke I've ever heard in a game of Commander lol
When Olivia loses her professionalism over your play, you might want to step back and reconsider xD
could please someone tag that joke please? I don't wanna rewatch the display of misconduct towards Jimmy
Man, if only Josh had exiled the graveyards with that Farewell
Good game guys! Wish we could have another Bloomburrow commander game with other commanders and other guests. I love this set.
It’s a shame the one commander that wasn’t a precon commander got targeted into oblivion so we couldn’t see much of the deck in action.
@@kitcobb6046yeah that sucked
And Jimmy was there! Olivia went nuts and I really mean NUTS! Josh really was King maker. All in an attempt to crown himself.
That new Farseek art is the most adorable thing I have ever seen. :')
Once again Josh loses to thinking he's the smartest person at the table. 😂
Yeah, not exiling the Golgari deck's graveyard seems like a content play. No way he thought that's actually correct.
@@SonnigesDeutschland I don't think that was for content. He had the gearhulk in hand and no instant or sorceries to cast and then recur, so it is a pretty dead card without his graveyard. I think his biggest misplay is thinking a golgari player with almost 10 mana and a sculpted hand couldn't make him lose 9 life. His excuse was that it was a new card, but there are plenty of staples in those colors that could have closed it out for her.
@@yoda9240 Yeah, that was more what I was referring to. I've died in many games to the misplay "...that I can think of" leads to.
I feel Olivia's "What kind of litteral harebrained harebrained play is that?!" remark went over a lot of people's heads. It was amazing and I will using that phrase for as long as my GF has a Ms. Bumbleflower deck.
Not sure why Josh was being so rude to Jimmy that game
As someone who also plays a Hazel squirrels deck (heavily modified from the precon), I was taking notes this whole video on Olivia's plays for how to buff my deck. Some real sweaty, skin of the teeth plays at the end but absolutely A+ squirreling. This is what I LOVE to see in a commander game: ridiculous plays, split second responses, and eking out victory with a couple perfectly timed spells that work together juuuuuuust right.
So moral of the story is to play a bloomburrow pod at a rainforrest cafe.
That's brilliant, and now I have to find out if there's one near me.
The custom intros you guys do for every episode are so good. The editing team does such good work on these.

The lesson here is: ALWAYS exile graveyards with Farewell.

@@matheusvalente12 Especially when there's a Golgari deck at the table.
Josh literally handed the game to Olivia, both with the graveyard and countering Jimmy's spell. Like wtf
Damn. How Olivia takes her starting hand looks so smooth and cool!
These decks are basically Command Zone saying "Hey the precons are not good and are boring so we made the decks ourselves so you actually enjoy the video."
