Nice review. I have experienced the same with my car in 0-60 test. In automatic mode, do its best time. In the sport mode or with the paddle shifter not so much.
One thing I can say I don't like about this Pilot is the position of that spare. Perfectly fine if you live in the South, but if you live in the Midwest, good luck changing a tire in winter!

I have the 2016 Pilot EX-L after I sold my 2003 Pilot EX. My only complaint with the 2016 is where's the subwoofer? I don't hear any bass, my 2003 had so much bass. Any comment?
As far as towing, Dad's new pilot just towed a 3700lb boat 1400mi and it got 15mpg highway, also loaded trunk. Off the gun first gear is way way too high for towing. I had to merge once with the boat, floored it from a stop and it was painfully slow until about 30mph when the engine got above about 4500rpm and started making some power. It does great for anything besides dead stop because the transmission is quick to shift when it has to, and has no problem letting the engine rev in its power band. The engine really wakes up at 4800rpm until it shifts at 6300, so high speed merging with weight is no problem, it'll really scream.
Does anyone question the flimsy aluminum front suspension control arms. Compare the frontal crash test, between the 11' and 16' Pilot from the underside view, you can see the 16's flex.
Thanks for the informative video!...I have been wanting door handle lights to be required, since I sat in my first unfamiliar car at night, and couldn't find the door handle to get out.... It was kind of embarrassing when the driver jumped out, slammed the door and left me groping around in total darkness....I feel that it should be required as a safety feature to allow quick exits in case of emergency.....Through the years and with the evolution of automobiles, I have found that door handles have been in all sizes and shapes and in all locations, from the highest to the lowest. They basically hid them in some vehicles to give a better interior appearance! ....Again,Thanks again for the video!

At first I wasn't a fan of the new pilot. The more I see it the better it looks. It lost some of the ruggedness that the last model had. Not sure why the tail pipe is hidden. I love it when they are integrated into the bumper, but that's just me. Thanks for the video.
Why did you forget to cover the fact that the technology in this car SUCKS! Salespeople tell buyers that it is android comparable, but no" Car Link" or "Mirror Link". Honda has scammed loyal buyers on this model y telling them their phones will be compatible. Owners can not download apps as promised in the showrooms. This model was my 4th Honda, but will be my last.

In my mind reducing ground clearance defeats the reason I want AWD.
