This is the only tutorial on TH-cam for the P365 that is worth watching because this narrator is the only person among them who knows how to teach. Excellent. A learned a lot from him, here, but didn't learn anything from the others.
Considering adding a p365 to my safe and wanted to see the takedown process, but had to leave a comment - this is an _excellent_ how-to on field stripping the p365 for total beginners. Safety check, named the parts, great explanations. Great job helping the new guys. Bravo.
Hi Pea, reading this makes me so happy. I try to make my videos work for everyone. I'm so glad the video helped out. If I could make a suggestion, if you decide to pick up the P365, go for the P365X without the optic in the box. That one comes with a better grip and it's optic ready. When you're ready to put an optic on, my suggestion is the Holosun 507k x2. Also, I have a ton of P365 content on my channel for you to check out. Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great day.
365@@UBRArsenal Just got my new P365. I am 105 lbs and very petite. I carry my Glock 43 and I love it however I have to wear a sack to conceal it. lol. I am so excited about this cute little "dangerous thing. I love the recoil for my body type, it's perfect and the grip really fits my hand so it feels like part of my hand and not something I am holding. Love, Love, love it. All my huge x military and cop buddies were trying to convince me to buy the firearm "they" like, I did not listen. This will protect me! No problemo. Thanks for the video, very good with the details...that's what I loved. WWG1WGA.
This is exquisitely clear and concise. This is how all teachings should be done. Actually, this is perfect, especially for one unfamiliar with any of it. Thank you so much!
I love this guy great video. If Bob Ross did pistol field strip videos , this is it. I learned to break down my gun but also felt really calm and at peace. Thanks
That small lever that you push down when disassembling the gun can be a problem when you're reassembling it. You explained how to get that lever to snap back up into place very well; by pushing up on the slide stop/release level as you pull the slide back. Great explanation!
Just got the 365-.380. Love it. This is the first time for me to do the breakdown. You kept the gun close to the camera (which I liked) so I could carefully see everything. Well done.
Thank you so much for your video. I just bought my P365 and have my CCW class tomorrow. They told us we needed to disassemble and assemble gun before class. Thank you so much again. Your instructions were so easy to follow.
Really well explained on how to reinstall the slide. Can’t tell you how many times I struggled with the reinstall even after watching other videos. Yours was slowly and clearly explained. Thank you
This was very well done. The instructions were concise, clear, and thoroughly explained. FYI, you just helped me finally decide which .380 to buy---Bersa, Ruger, Sig Sauer, S&W, or another Walther (which I previously owned but sold). Thanks for the help!
Clear video, glad you went over the problem I encountered with my new p365x, the disaddembly lever returned to 3 oclock when the slide was off and I couldnt get the slide all the way back on. Your vid and the helpful commenters addressed that. So thank you!
@@UBRArsenal I did subscribe. I bought 2 365s ... for me and son in law. 1 extra 10 round magazine apiece. He didnt fire his but did load and eject probably 50 rounds. Mine... loaded the mag and it wouldnt chamber. I tried jackets and they loaded but jammed while ejecting after fire. After reading the manual it said clean BEFORE firing... so I cleaned it. The nuances of holding one lever while pressing another was new to me.... usually they snap together easily. I got so frustrated I put it away for 2 days. After your video I tried chambering rounds and some would and some wouldn't. After playing with it for 90 minutes I found the issue. The one short clip that was in package will not load unless you really work it. It wont eject after firing. At least I have the gun together and solved the question. The gun dealer is going to take care of it.... probably a new magazine. Thanks again.

This video helped me so much!! As a new gun owner, I appreciate that you point out every step so clearly. As a lady SigP365 owner I have discovered that my thumbs aren't quite long enough to apply pressure to the slide lock as I'm locking it back(to reassemble). Very frustrating. Working on strengthening my hands too, hope it will help. I don't ever really feel like I have weak hands though

@@UBRArsenal lol your right empty mag, I just got my permit and don’t know anything about guns, just starting to get familiar with them, watching videos and stuff

I just remembered with this gun, if the slide lock lever is push in the three o'clock position without the slide on, you won't be able to get your slide on. You will need to push and hold the slide lock up and pull the slide lock lever down to the six o'clock position. Once you do that you should be able to get your slide on with no issues. Hope this helps. Let me know how you make out.

Your video has convinced me something in mine is jammed. My disassembly level is stuck facing down, my slide isn't coming off, and I can't fit any magazines into the handle.
Can you lock the slide to the rear?
@@UBRArsenal yes, I can still do that. I took it to two gunsmiths yesterday and neither could fix it. I'm going to send it to SIG for an RMA today.
Thank you sir. Felt like an idiot not being able to get the slide back on.

Dude I was messing with this XL for 30 minutes. I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't go back together. I had to push up on the slide lock. Thank you

I just bought mine and the slide automatically locks without me pushing up the slide lock. Is this normal?
The only way the slide should lock back without pushing the slide lock is if you have an empty mag in the pistol. If this is happening without an empty mag in it then you should contact SIG. 👍🏼 Let me know how you make out.
@@UBRArsenal lol your right empty mag, I just got my permit and don’t know anything about guns, just starting to get familiar with them, watching videos and stuff
Sweet, that was an easy fix. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Check out the video below. These are two common issues that you might come across with the P365. Have great day.

My slide lock lever won't move when I put the slide back on and try to lock it back. Any idea? Thanks
It's hard for me to tell what's going on. Make sure the slide lock lever is pointing in the six o'clock position. Then try to put your slide on.
Very Informative....

Great video for beginners. This was not a disassembly video, it is a field strip video. You may want to consider changing the title.
