Excellent instructions. Identifying the possibility of the slide not going back due to the uptick on the trigger mechanism was a good thing. Done well.
@@jarrettthecollector7795 Congrats man, the 365 series of handguns seems to be one of the best out there. Don’t let people sway you because of the p320 nightmare. As of right now 5 months later and 2000+ rounds I have not had one malfunction or anything. That goes along with proper maintenance of course.
New Sig Owner here. Been shooting Glocks for a while. Field Stripping is a little different. Thank you very much for the clear & precise video! It was very helpful....
THANK YOU for this great video. I had saved this to my playlist as I was researching prior to my first gun purchase; now that I have it, I knew exactly where to go for this simple "breakdown" video. Appreciate it!
Puuuh, I am so happy I found your video. I swapped the guide rod/spring and could not get my P365 back together because this small lever was not pointing downwards and also would not move. Until I pressed the release button up. Thank you for sharing!!
Great video. So much easier (for me, at least) than striping my Glock 19. I bought my Sig P365 Micro a few days ago and will clean and lube it before I shoot it for the first time.
It's challenging, no doubt. Consider using a tool that won't mar your surfaces. Sometimes I've used the baseplate of a magazine to coax really tough take-down levers.
This was actually wrong for my firearm, the take down lever you push foward after the slide is locked back , and then pull the slide off the gun. No need to push the slide lock / release (P365x with manual saftey)
The take down on these is awkward and a little painful. The controls are very stiff and the slide is not easy to rack. The take down lever is like a knife blade, thin and sharp. Reassembly must be done with the 365 upright. Gravity will prevent it from going back together inverted. But, the gun is narrow, light and easy to carry. Very comfortable in the hand.
Ah, Sig. The kings of ignoring obvious peoblems. I've had to straight-up scrap three guns because the disassembly levers would rust over, making it impossible to do any amount of maintenance. Even when they're well-maintained, I regularly need to use a hammer and wooden dowel to get the lever to budge the first inch needed to loosen up that rubber gasket. Rusted Glocks? They're annoying, but possible to disassemble. Rusted Beretta? The most difficult part are all the small internal bits, but taking the slide off is about as easy as taking the dust cover off an AK. Barely an inconvenience. I swear - the one thing keeping Sig pistols in the public eye is the fact that Glock is lazy. All they need to do is make all their slides come with red-dot mounts by default, and then steal Sig's chassis system. That would basically kill Sig's relevance.

What can I buy to change to lower the recall of my X?
This is one of the best tutorials on any topic that I have ever watched on TH-cam.
Thank you!!!

New sig owner here. No BS no nothing, straight to the point. Well done.
I just picked up a sig as well!

Right to the point, with no uhh's and unnecessary BS
Exactly as we intended :-)
🤜🤛
That little lever being up is the reason I came to youtube for an answer. 10/10 video.
I had the same problem; thanks for the smooth video; you gave all that was necessary and nothing that wasn't.

Thanks so much!
Superbly done. I have new P365 and had the slide reassembly issue you spoke about…your solution worked perfectly. Thanks.
Great to hear!
that little tip at the end about the trigger nub that stick ups helped me out. thank you!
Thank you for sharing this. I just got a Sig 365XL, and your video was extremely helpful and not condescending.

Excellent video. Thanks!
Thanks buddy. 😊
Thank you🫡 the ending of this video saved my sanity, haha
Glad to help!
Thank you
Dude 10/10 👍🏼
very cool.
Men seem to be able to push the release to field strip so easily. It absolutely kills my thumbs trying to be the lever down so I can remove the slide.

Have the XL and it's certainly more straightforward than my wife's p238!
Well done.
Thanks!
Great VIDEO and cool music
Thank you!!
What can I buy to lower the recall? I have the X.
How about the full full breakdown. Extractor and all!
Wow, at 2:42 was it really necessary to verify that there’s nothing in the chamber?
Yes, no matter what always treat a firearm as if it was loaded
Even while you’re reassembling the gun AFTER you had the barrel off? 😂
@@991turbogeek The point is to make it an unconscious habit
Love how my 1992 p226 disassembles the same way. A sigs a sig
Great video!
Thanks!
Thank you very helpful!

Yup, manual safety will change it up a little.
I just found out, you can disassemble it with a magazine inside it.
Good shit brother.

There is something else stopping my from going on
“A little stiff” here meaning it will literally rip your skin off before it activates
Oops, it was cause I had a mag in. Painful lesson 🥲
The best lessons, lol
Yup.
Really? You need to ply background music? Why? Because everyone else is. Date to think for yourself.
