200 pesos are so expensive for us Filipinos
those sunglasses costs too much. it should just be 100 pesos HAHAHA
Hahaha 200,
50 lang yan sa divisoria hahaha
Hahahahhaha oo nga
50
*Just a small warning*
*Some vendors* makes the price higher if the buyer is a foreigner

Bursting Wizard I don’t think they understand you can’t get anything that cheap in places in America or Australia
@@adora9346 yes but you can actually get it cheaper lol so for us its a rip off
Adora we do understand but the thing is most of the time if you look foreign they up the prices.
@@adora9346 i can buy the stuff he bought for half the price or a quarter of the price less like srsly 200 for those sandals. I just literally bought one of those for 150
@@kittepes8307 True, but like, tbf, it still pays off considering he wouldn't have been able to get that price in America. ₱200 is ~$4 (USD) while in America those sandals would've been around $12 (just a guess; likely higher). Plus their salaries are higher with a minimum wage of $7.5/hr (~₱375/hr or ~₱3,000/8-hour workday).
you can get all the stuff you bought for cheaper price if you have a filipino friend with you.

A bit too expensive maybe? For a place like that? Maybe???
Most vendors are very poor so i dont mine paying tourist prices as long that its good quality.
Too bad the nikes here are made in china
100$ is like what Filipinos in the province make in a month😢
well said...youre considerate!
Spot on 🙌🏼

You expected authentic Nikes in a poor country? You dreaming or extremely naive?! FYI, all the malls in the USA carry made in China Nikes. They don't make them in the United States anymore !! Even regular leather shoes are not made in the states anymore except for one company that I can't think of the name right now?
Where you been living, in a cave? 😖
This really makes me miss visiting the Philippines. Everyone is just so friendly
$1 = is around ₱50+ pesos so it looks like cheap in you guys but for us its really expensive XD
Yeah true Im a filipino and 50+ is a bit cheap
you can buy many things with 50 pesos...as a student that is...😅

Can't wait to come back already. Thanks for showing me a great time my friend !
FinnSnow you're awesome we love you.
FINNSNOW my favorite youtuber❤️❤️
finnsnow best vloger in philippines!
I love that you show that when you travel you don’t need to be super rich you basically just need flight money and a little extra to have a good time
This is amazing, you got so valuable content and i love how you appreciate everything you get , as they say “when you change expectations with appreciation everything changes “ great work Brett!
I love how he didn’t even care that the hotel room he stayed in didn’t have a working toilet and the ac didn’t work but he was still happy with what he got. Most people would have been pissed and thought their entire trip was ruined. These are the type of things you should be well aware of if you ever decide to travel like this.
This video brings me back! I miss that place
You are always welcome cody!!
Hey ya
You can always go back to this amazing place.
Hey cody. I will be the one who will spend your hotel. I can pay it for you my bruhhh😋😉

Filipinos: This is so expensive!
Americans: *hold my dollar*
wow, $12 for a 6 hour car ride! great deal !!
You wrong for this lol I was thinking about bringing my silver & gold there
Omg!!😍🏖 I can't wait to be there. Filipinos are the one of the best people and the Philippines.
To some Pinoys, if you've never been to El Nido or Coron, then don't comment like as if you know a lot. Prices there are really more expensive compared to other metropolitan cities.
Reynald Caberte i was wondering about that. Manila, taytay, sta Cruz laguna all like 50 php
Well, Tourist spots inside the metropolitan cities are expensive too..
If you stay in a hostel its cheaper and most have no AC. I cant stay in those accommodations. Probably $80 to $100 a night is acceptable. I stayed at Soleil resort in Coron and at a pricey resort Cauayan in El Nido. Both islands are made for island hopping tours.
True
Lmao more like overpriced. Ive been in and out of the place working as an engineer and had my vacation. There are actually ppl selling glasses for 50php. Even got a ray ban from them .
Just a tip. Whenever a filipino sees a foreigner, they'll automatically raise the price because we think all foreigners are all rich.
true, at my last week of the filipines (im from there i was just visting) my family was talking english cause my brother, sister, and me cant speak tagalog that well, 2 kids prob 8 or 9 saw and heard speaking english so they kept asking us for money like every 10 min, we gave them money but they still kept asking
Lynn Ren unless I’m with my moms side of the family that lives in the Philippines 😂
yes it's true, especially when riding a jeep or any rides
To be fair, they *do* have higher salaries than us. But still, it _is_ bad, especially since they're trying to save as well...

Honesty, if you are working in US and want vacation or retirement, Philippines is relatively cheaper when it comes to expenses.
I have started watching your videos very recently, well i am enjoying these a lot. Great content and crisp editing.
As a Filipino, seeing you enjoy our country makes me really happy :)
Thanks for visiting us. Your 100 USD helped a lot in so many ways. From the van driver and marketer to the hostel owner and helpers to the different vendors, the boat crews and the resto bars, plus of course govt taxes and environment fees., Etc. And most of all, your 100 USD clicked and bait a bunch of future tourists to come and will visit us, and maybe spend as you had or even more. Thanks and have fun. 😀😀😀
Hi Brett, I absolutely love your travel videos. I wish the pandemic is over soon and we get to see more!

They got to do that for the economy duh

Only the products are cheap. Not the people living.
Never step on filipino's pride they will rip you apart.
There was once an incedent at a bar in phil. which an american man spit over a womans pride. Then guess what, the american guy was knockout in a matter of sec. by the girl! So when you visit in there as a foreigner, dont y'all ever harass.
The nicest people hides an untamed underworld personality.
Natsu Dragneel he said that “spit on woman’s pride” so it has a deeper meaning, make sure read it before you judge it!
Instead of drinking beer at the Philippines, I recommend drinking lambanog.

I'm a Filipino. Beware of vendors who raise the price of their product if you are a foreigner.
Lil' Pro Tip
Ask a local (preferebly a Random Person who just bought a product from the vendor you want to buy from) how much is the product they bought.
ibigay niyo na sa vendor yong maliit na kita pota ka total "cheap" lang naman dawww yong bilihin sa pinas bobo ka
Thanks that's some good advice 👌👍
Holy shit that's a great tip!
why these vendors keep ripping people off are they that stupid not realizing these customers and their friends will never come back

Some Filos be commenting about the prices are so high like these people clearly haven't gone to tourist spots like Palawan or Boracay. Of course the prices will be higher, it's not Divisoria or some bangketa, duh. 🤣
Haha true!

Bakit naman sa samal island hindi mahal pero sobrang ganda. Same with things na mabibili mo divisoria price lang din.

@mavenusedradan8799 which US cities offer direct flights to the Philippines? I live in the Bahamas and I've been dreaming about going to the Philippines for some time now
I visited El Nido back in 2016. It was so much fun visiting my home country and experiencing its tropical beauty. Island hopping, diving with the fish, and just having a great time with my family.😊
So cool of you!! Not complaining for the simple problem in the hostel.. A must have attitude of a real traveler..
I am a Filipino and I just went here last month. Food and other things are costly in El Nido (I highly recommend to buy souvenirs in Puerto Princesa since it's way cheaper there) but that's to be expected when you travel and besides, El Nido is very far from the capital. Food cost around 300 pesos or around $5 - $6 but the food they serve is good for two people. Tours in El Nido are cheaper though for a solo traveller, cost around $20 or 1000 pesos for an island hopping tour. Hotel expense vary, I got mine for 500 pesos only or $7 - $8 dollars. As for the place, El Nido is stunning and beautiful and foreigner friendly, like you see more foreigners than locals there
Dang. They really overpriced that sunglasses. xD
U'll k when u get there
Yeah they overpriced it too much
it's P50. and putting it in your bag is a no no.
ikr that sunglasses is supposed to be like around 150 pesos or 100 or even like 50
Hahaha, The sunglasses is only 50 pesos.
