Question how was Qui-gon able to become a force ghost on Tatooine? His training in becoming a force ghost was incomplete. Is Tatooine a planet with enough connection to the force to become a force ghost?
After cutting himself off from the Force for 10 years, Obi-Wan is basically getting back into the swing of things. When body builders get seriously injured and have to go through months of recovery, they don't immediately start lifting the same weight they were before, you need to build up your strength again. By episode 4, Obi-Wan is already doing much better with his Force abilities; using the same trick to distract a couple of stormtroopers the same way he does in A New Hope, deflecting several shots of blaster fire, and using the Force to hold back basically the whole ocean from breaking through a glass window.

Qui-Gon Jin preaching the ways of the living Force over the cosmic Force suggest that he focused on learning more about the living Force and that it might have been more relevant to living beings then the cosmic Force. The Jedi Council encouraged and even forcefully pushed the ideas of the cosmic Force be focused on and that in my opinion it's one of the reasons why they were so detached from what was going on under their noses. I think that's why they couldn't see through the growing power of the dark side. If Qui-Gon had survived the events of Naboo he might have sensed what was happening within the Republic that led to the Clone Wars. I don't think he would have joined Dooku though.

I think that is a good physical explanation of why they don't speak. I also think Qui-Gon is also no speaking because this is a pain and learning experience that Obi-Wan has to go through and figure out by himself.
Sorry if this has been mentioned, and I missed it? On Tatooine we don’t hear any voice connections to force ghosts, all we hear are the voices of the sands? I think, Tatooine is a planet where connecting off world, Is in impossible, one of the reasons they went there, just a thought
I think in the last episode of kenobi, Qui gon should tell obi wan to go to dagobah to complete the same training he had master yoda do in order to learn the force ghost ability. It would also be a good way to end season 1 and lead into season 2 of the show.
We have heard palpatine thoughts and opinions on Jedi masters such as Yoda, Windu and Obi Wan, but not so much on Qui Gon. I’d be interested to know his thoughts as Qui Gon was heavy influenced by his master Dooku, and didn’t follow, broke the rules more so, yet did venture or fall anywhere close to the dark side. So if Qui Gon had not been killed his influence on future of the Jedi not just Anakin would have been an interesting story and topic and one which I think Palaptine would have a different view point of compared to other Jedi Masters - this could be a topic to discuss and explore further
Also factor in that Obi-Wan in his younger years was not the most force powerful Jedi. His strength came from his training and practice. After going so long without training and practice his force connection would be suffering.
I think the reason why obi can’t hear qui Jon is because obi disconnect him self from the force due to him having PTSD for failing an believing he kill his friend/brother and now knowing anakin lived and became Darth Vader cause to much pain at this point I’m still shock how he never join the dark side. Once obi is reconnected to the force he could hear his former master.
What has never been satisfactorily explained is how Anakin, with no training, was able to appear as a force ghost at the end of the 6th movie. This was Darth Vader! And yet he appears next to Yoda and Obi-Wan
You see Anakin didnt die on the second death star is was just unconscious. During his comma Obi Wan Yoda and QuiGon were teaching him how to be a force ghost. Then Luke set him on fire cooking him in his suit. Anakin died horrible being cooked by his own son.
If he has seen the show that could explain the reason....dude literally tried smuggled a small child under a comically big coat thru a honests nest of storm troopers like he was bugs bunny.
Disney just can't NOT break G-Canon! In Revenge Of The Sith, Yoda says to Obi-Wan that "an old friend has learned the path to immortality. One who has returned from the netherworld of the Force. Your old master." Obi-Wan responds with a surprised response: "Qui-Gon!"
Obi-wan, after failing the Jedi, his padawan, and indirectly contributed to the rise in power of Sidious can be heavy baggage for just one man. Aside from cutting himself out of the Force as a precaution so that Vader wouldn't sense him, the prolonged absence from the this, and also the guilt and resentments he may have from what happened in the past 10 years could be influencing his communication with Qui Gon. I feel like by the end of the series, Obi Wan manages to have some sort of "closure" with everything that's happened (probably accepting that Anakin is truly gone after a final fight) would lead to him getting more progress in communicating with his old master, as well as laying the ground work for becoming ultimately a force ghost by episode 4.
I'm surprised Yodas's arrogance allowed him to be taught anything by Qui-Gon. Especially since he was so fond of telling everybody else ''Much to learn you still have''
Yoda was close to 1000 years old when he died lol qui gon was 60 when he died let me be clear when I say qui gon taught him one useful thing how to be a force ghost lol
Yoda is the villain of Star Wars. Homie be telling people to let go of death, yet he has the fullest form as a force ghost due to being the only one to complete the training. He probably also knows the secret to healing that Rey does and kept this from Anakin. He literally laughs and cackles more than Jar Jar in OT. He is the puppet master.
If I'm Quigon what do I say to Obi Wan? With his dying breath he made Obi Wan _promise_ to do something that would ultimately lead to entire worlds being destroyed, not to mention the Jedi Order and Obi Wan's personal life. Obi Wan fulfilled that promise without contributing to Anakin's downfall in any way other than being too "parental" For thanks he gets to have people like Owen Lars point out his failures. Quigon could not, _would not_ take no for an answer with regards to training the boy, to the point that Obi Wan apologized to _him_ for being so vocal about it Hence Quigon is either the greatest prescient Jedi of all time able see the long game all the way up to the destruction of *Death Star 3* or he was _dead wrong_ and should be very ashamed to show his face to a Jedi more loyal than he. If I'm writing? The final scene is Obi Wan contacting Yoda on Dagobah and Yoda explaining to him why Quigon won't be coming after all....
The fact Kenobi cut himself out of The Force while in exile may explain his inability to communicate with Qui-gon Jin. His Jedi abilities were clearly affected by that period and took a while to restore (some) of his old capabilities.

I still want to know why Anakin is a force ghost in ROTJ
I believe he not responding because Kenobi stop using the force but now since he’s back using it eventually he will respond
@@IAMLH 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 think I'd have preferred death at Palpatine's hands. He would've been kinder!🤣🤣
It's probably because Obi-Wan told him to go haunt Yoda instead.
disney + could only afford liam nesson to voice a couple of lines
Because Qui-Con doesn’t want to be associated with that garbage 👍
Ah yes, the wisdom of Master Jinn.
Neeson said he'd love to act Qui Gon again but only on film, not tv.
There’s two people I’m expecting to see that haven’t showed up yet and that’s Liam Neeson and Darth Maul
I have messaged and texted the number as instructed but have heard nothing...
He’s still mad about how Anakin turned out🤣
Wait-So only those strong in the force can see force ghosts? I never knew that.
If he has seen the show that could explain the reason....dude literally tried smuggled a small child under a comically big coat thru a honests nest of storm troopers like he was bugs bunny.
Its punishment. He knows what he did. 😂
He could be upset that he gave him his word to take Anakin as his apprentice that would later kill almost all the Jedi’s.
Didn't they use Liam voice for the animated shows couldn't they do that again here ??
Because they can't afford Liam Neeson lmfao.
Maybe because he read the script 🤔
Yoda is the villain of Star Wars. Homie be telling people to let go of death, yet he has the fullest form as a force ghost due to being the only one to complete the training. He probably also knows the secret to healing that Rey does and kept this from Anakin. He literally laughs and cackles more than Jar Jar in OT. He is the puppet master.
If I'm Quigon what do I say to Obi Wan?
With his dying breath he made Obi Wan _promise_ to do something that would ultimately lead to entire worlds being destroyed, not to mention the Jedi Order and Obi Wan's personal life.
Obi Wan fulfilled that promise without contributing to Anakin's downfall in any way other than being too "parental"
For thanks he gets to have people like Owen Lars point out his failures.
Death Star 3???? You need to stop smoking that force weed.
