storys in the dark lore wise Reach was chosen in 2053 to be terraformed back to its prewar state so it could be used and made habitable again which it was by 2589 completely habitable. Not all of Reach was glassed during the war so some installations both military and forerunner are still there and even some actual survivors of the glassing stayed on Reach in unglassed areas of the planet the whole time and never left.

Remember when the books, comics, movies and shows were an expansion to the story that was optional to understand the game? I appreciate the expanded lore but it doesn't make sense to read and watch all the stuff.

Halo Infinite, Star Wars Episode IX, Avenger's *Infinity War II*. 2019 and beyond seems to be the years when many beloved franchises come together for ultimate battle, in others "finishing this fight". They better not mess these up, this shall be a matter of life or death for each, but I have hope for the best.

Yes I know, but it is likely (since Halo 5 was three years ago and Halo Wars 2 was one year ago that Halo Infinite will most like come out by 2019 unless there is a major problem that causes mass delay. Also most teaser trailers often have the game or movie come 4-18 months after it.
Halo and Gears coming out in the same year probably won't happen.

extrumental you know graphics\artstyle is also what gets people interested aswell, but in those terms i think we can all agree bungie is better by a long shot.
Halo has and will always be great. Even if Halo 5 wasn't as great as the rest, it's still a solid game in it's own right, and doesn't take away from the rest. The same can't be said for other franchises sequels , like Metal Gear and Silent Hill.

no, the story has gone well enough, its dumb fucks like you that want simplicity and no engaging different storylines that's gonna give us the BS that is Halo Infinite. Which will fail massively once players realize the whole storyline is gone and we get some reboot of something that didn't need rebooted. you fucking nerds make me sick.

@@georgeforeman8040 it is a reboot of sorts. We are starting like Halo CE did when were put in the middle of a war we knew nothing about. Only difference is we know a little about this war and how it started but not what has been happening the past year in game. It will be a sequel to halo 5 but there will be much more going on besides just cortana. Basically humanity has been crippled and needs to find a way to resist cortana but has the banished and maybe even the flood to deal with (again). Hopefully the story doesn't become too congested but all in all in think the story will be kinda interesting moving forward. I do hope the Spirit of Fire gets some love in the main halo game story line.

@@georgeforeman8040 I agree it does need to be a good game otherwise it will hurt halo really bad or maybe even kill it. I do wish they just stuck to the story and finished it but personally I wont be too upset with making some changes. Everything as is so far points to a decent game but we honestly won't really know until the game comes out. We as players can't say much until then, we can complain but until we see and play it our criticism won't matter too much. At least until they finally show up us something that will truly piss off the fan base and hopefully this doesn't happen.
You forgot to mention what's happening inside Onyx. The Guardian there was sucessfully shot down by a Hugarok. That's super important dude.
For not mention the Servants of the Abiding Truth infiltrate the Shield World and now are waging war against the UNSC and the Swords of Sanghelios of Paxopolis.

This is a great video and is interesting on what is going on. Some ideas I have; I think there is a very funny irony in the Grunts become advance, gameplay wise, Just imagen fighting an op grunt mini boss. Also It would be cool gameplay wise if it was linear semi-open world like ODST having open and explorable spaces but a still linear storyline.

I have to share my pov. Cortana seems to be a piece of Cortana (1 of several) that survived within the forerunner data stream and took up the mantel because that piece of Cortana felt to be the entity for the job. It seems that several other pieces of Cortana may have survived the same way and we are about to find another one. As Cortana said at the end of halo 4 "Most of me is down there."

Imagine if Chief is about to die by cortan with a guardian and these massive tentacles come out of the ground and start shredding the guardian. Then thousands of flood forms come out of the massive hole and the prometheans start getting wrecked which gives humanity a chance to get away.
Flood vs. Cortana would be an absolutely amazing game, with the Flood siding with Humanity

Remember how we teamed up with the flood in halo 3 for a very small while do you think we could team up with them again in halo infinite?
As you said for Master Chief and the crew of the Infinity. It would be cool if the connect to Halo 4 and Spartan Ops by having the missing half of the key thing that Dr. Halsey received from the Librarian be on Zeta Halo and maybe could be used to override the Guardians but near the end the flood and 343 Guilty Spark arrive having a massive 3 way battle going on as now Chief has to face two near unstoppable foes. Also it would be cool if there was a mission to find and rescue Dr. Anders and missions with side characters such as joining Buck and his old ODST crew to have more and better character development and some characters (such as Locke and Palmer to appease the fandom) dying in semi-heroic deaths to increase intensity and express how dire the situation really is. Plus over all having the campaign be the longest of any Halo game being I think being between 12-36 hours long.

What would be wild is some kind of time lapse, if they can do the programming right for the game, where your choices will have different outcomes. Basically she has to be stopped from the past. 2nd idea is connecting with the Librarian and some storyline from there. Really, the final story can have multiple closures. Whatever happened to the one where she becomes human? Is that still a possibility?
I already know master chief is gonna be the one that brings down cortona and it will be heartbreaking but I also feel like in force unleashed 2 you could either join her or do the right thing and end her
@HaloFollower Hey Man, I’ve been a fan of halo for years since Halo CE the original on the original Xbox. I bought an Xbox 360 years ago just so I could play the other games. As I got to the point there was nothing left to do apart from playing the campaign over and over again on Legendary. Then the Xbox One took over and Halo 5 came out. As Halo’s community started to die I stopped playing and never got around to buying a new console. I knew from all the stories linking up to each other something big would happen like Halo: Infinite the final chapter. Your videos are amazing and the science and research you do and to find a channel that explains it so well has lifted my spirits. I’m going to buy and Xbox One X now after finding your channel and play all the Halo Series in order from Reach to Halo 5 (And Halo Wars 1 and 2 as Halo wars 2 is apparently linked to Halo 5) awaiting Halo: Infinite. I’ll definitely be supporting your channel. As I said I’m a big fan of Halo and your work and love getting out the Original Xbox and play the OG Game. Hopefully Halo: Infinite isn’t then end because that will be very sad but hopefully it’s The End of the Beginning.

The UNSC Spirit of Fire has got to be the most interested piece of the current story in Halo. They've been gone from the world for so long, every person down to their Marines are 30 years older than they were.
Its soo cool that they have low tech compared to everyone else including the UNSC but they still are able to use their tools to the maximum.

I couldn't help but notice you left out the events of Legacy of Onyx, which largely takes place at around the same time as the end of Halo 5.
If Chief was smart, he would have been searching for way to continue unlocking his evolutionaire gifts.
