Well as much as I love The Joker, there are other Batman Villains I really love! Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Baby Doll, The Riddler, The Penguin, Bane, and so much more! It's so hard to pick!🤩😈
30- The dummy (Scarface) 29- The holyday criminal (calendarman) 28- The greek god (Maxie Zeus) 27- The imperfect doll (profesor pyg) 26- The unborn in a monday (Solomon Grundy) 25- The martial artist (lady shiva) 24- The insect (killer moth) 23- The terror in the sky (man-bat) 22- The angel of death (phantasm) 21- The roman (Carmine Falcone) 20- The psychologist (hugo strange) 19- The tea of nonsense ( Mad Hatter) 18- The world's greatest assassin (deadshot) 17- The circus freak (Killer croc) 16- The angry mobster (black mask) 15- The terminator (deathstroke) 14- The identity thief (hush) 13- The elite (court of owls) 12- The failed actor (clayface) 11- The scar marker (Zsasz) 10- The one started it all (Joe Chill) 9- The bird (The penguin) 8- The king of nightmares (scarecrow) 7- The enygma ( Riddler) 6- The coin tosser ( Two face) 5- The pretty poison (poison ivy) 4- The cold tragedy (mr freeze) 3- The head of the demon (ras al ghul) 2- The spirit breaker (bane) 1- The clown prince of crime (joker)
The Riddler is also the very best villain. He can send riddles to Batman and play a little mind game. Rather, a dark mind game. And prove that he is the smartest. And also to challenge his mind some more, because he loves to play a mind game with no other than Batman. He's well calculated, and as obsessive as the Joker is. He's obsessed with every human mind including Batman's. He's like a DC's jigsaw
One of my favorites was in response to Grundy saying to Luthor, "You're crazy" Joker: And what's wrong with that?! It's done wonders for me. Or hell can we just have Hammill's laugh as the best quote?
That, and the fact that #20-#1 are just from the Top 20 Batman Villains video from 2 years ago. WatchMojo just takes old videos and just add 10 more things before #10 or #20. They don’t even bother modifying it at all.

Yeah cause they care more about the actor’s facetime than the actual character. Black Mask is brutal and his mask is his true face, which even becomes literal when its burned on to it. And in the film, they made it a damn fashion statement. I hated it so much.
Batman has the best villians in all of comics. It's one of the reasons why he's my favorite superhero of all time. Though Spider-Man is more popular, I do like Superman a bit more.

Owlman, King Tut, Roland Daggot, Firefly, Red Hood, Sal Maroni, Rupert Thorne, Talia Al Ghul, Harley Quinn, Darkseid, Baby Doll, Deacon Blackfire, Prometheus, and even Catwoman deserve honorable mentions.
Catwoman spent more than 40 years as a villain before her first real turn as a quasi-hero, and still is involved in crime (I mean, even if it cut down on crime in Gotham, she *was* training villain henchmen types to become cat burglars in her most recent big storyline). If you mean the Jason Todd Red Hood, I agree with the previous poster who said he's not a villain. While he has had an (understandable) grudge against Batman, most of his time as a criminal has ultimately had the goal of bringing people down from the inside. If you mean the previous Red Hood(s), while they haven't been seen often, one of them might have been the person who became the Joker, so so maybe worth a mention. I freely admit that, when they got down to three, I hadn't been paying close enough attention to remember everyone that hadn't been mentioned, and the three names I came up with were Joker, Catwoman, and Harley Quinn. I can kind of understand leaving Harley off (while she was obviously the breakout star of the 1990s cartoon series, she was explicitly the Joker's sidekick in almost all of those stories, and has generally become famous for roles other than being a direct opponent of Batman), but it still felt a bit unfair. While the Crime Syndicate Owlman is indeed that "mirror" world's version of Batman, the two have rarely faced each other. Darkseid? while Batman has fought his forces on occasion, I'm not sure if they've ever truly gone head-to-head, one on one (OK, they sort of did in the 2000s in Infinite Crisis, and Darkseid was believed to have killed Batman there - but that was a DC Universe vs. Darksied story, not Batman specifically). Darkseid was a significant behind the scenes force in the 1990s Superman cartoons, which would have been enough to make him appropriate there. Prometheus? My above comments about Owlman and Darkseid, slightly swirled together, cover him. To be specific, he's a Batman-like character in that he's a plotter and gadget-user, not a general criminal or a super-powered individual (I think - haven't seen too many of his stories). Also, I don't recall him as being expressly out to get BAtman, and he's gone up against people other than (just) Batman in most of his appearances. An honorable mention for King Tut would almost certainly require one for Egghead, too (while a version of Tut did eventually make an appearance in comics, he's not seen the kind of wide use that would make this valuable, given that there was no nod I saw to the 1960s TV show here. And Vincent Price appeared in roughly as many episodes of that show as Victor Buono). Maroni and Daggett? Neither is as significant as Carmine Falcone. Heck, as a character who appeared in both the comics and the 1990s cartoon, Rupert Thorne might be a better fit than either of them. And I'm not saying I think he should have been included. Firefly, Baby Doll, Deacon Blackfire? Well, gee, they didn't include the Ninja, the Cavalier, the Spook, Marsha Queen of DIamonds, Clock King or Kite-man either. All that said - They could easily have made this a top 25 by dropping five characters that weren't really that interesting, or that strongly associated with Batman (for the sake of argument: Killer Moth, Lady Shiva, Phantasm, Maxie Zeus, Calendar Man, Solomon Grundy, Deathstroke (Titans/Nightwing/Robin? Sure. Batman? not so much), and Joe Chill). Other characters placed far higher than would seem deserved (Freeze, Bane, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow - not saying their bad characters, just that they're too high in the list), and a few are lower than they should be (Two-Face, Penguin, Ventriloquist/Scarface) Of course, all of this is just in my opinion.
@@jnasty808Red Hood and Catwoman DEBUTED as villains. Even without the Justice League, Batman can hold his own against Darkseid. After all, it was Batman who tricked Darkseid into releasing Kara from his control in Batman/Superman Apokolips; It was Batman who broke his one rule and shot Darkseid dead in Crisis on Infinite Earths. Batman needs a cosmic villain in his rouges gallery in my opinion. Heck, even Joker is considered a DC Universe villain.

Saying we need more Phantasm stories at 8:00 is like saying we need more Holiday stories. Phantasm is a Slayer and Holiday is a gunman. Both are out for revenge on mobsters. Both are satisfied with their ultimate body counts. Both largely lose their mystique when their identities get exposed at the end of their debut stories. You'd want there to be a really good reason before writers trot out a character like that again.
The Joker is #1, I'm sure of it! Nobody beats The Joker! Well Harley Quinn is a close second especially for her Mister J, but still! The Joker is #1 and he's Batman's Greatest Enemy!🤩😈
The great top 5 (they've all been a menace for Batman from the Golden Age (40s) to the present day) 1. Joker 2. Penguin 3. Two-Face 4. Riddler 5. Scarecrow Have later become a menace or a nuisance periodically 6. Ra¨s al Ghul 7. Poison Ivy 8. Bane 9. Mr Freeze 10. Catwoman other notable enemies that are a problem periodically 11. Clayface 12. Killer Croc 13. Black Mask 14. Hush 15. Mad Hatter 16. Harley Quinn 17. Hugo Strage 18. Talia Al Ghul (true villain since 00s-) 19. Ventriloquist and Scarface 20. Deadshot Other significant enemies 21. Mr Zsasz 22. Man-Bat 23. Firefly 24. Killer Moth 25. Calendar Man 26. Professor Pyg 27. Lady Shiva 28. Catman 29 Maxie Zeus 30. Cluemaster
I get how Badly is a anti hero and cat woman but like both are too iconic to not have on the list. Also the amount of Gotham clips they show in this video is crazy, 50% of the entire video is just gotham clips
I was thrilled to see Professor Pyg make the list, as I've long considered him one of the most underrated #Batman villains. He's even had two phenomenal live-action portrayals at this point, both on #Gotham and on Batwoman. I wouldn't have included Deathstroke on the list, not because I don't think he's a great villain, but rather because I don't consider him primarily a Batman villain. He's mostly a Teen Titans villain. That's why I wasn't particularly excited by the notion of him being the main villain of the Batfleck solo film that never came to be. The idea that different DC villains can cross paths with different DC heroes who aren't their primary nemeses has always made a lot of sense to me, but Batman has too deep a rogues gallery filled with adversaries who have yet to be seen or done justice in live-action movies to waste that spot on a villain who isn't really part of that rogues gallery. Thank you for including quite a bit of footage from my all-time favorite animated series The Batman in compiling this list. I feel so grateful as a fan that right now we are getting brilliant live-action character studies of the two most iconic villains on this list. #Batman85 #ThePenguin #JOKERMOVIE
I think hush as a villain/anti hero is severely underrated. His connection with both Batman and Bruce on a personal level makes for amazing entertainment and great storylines, and helps make him feel like an actual threat on the identity of Batman. I hope we get to see him pitted against Batman on the big screen soon, there is so much they could do with the character and his interaction with Batman.
Many great villains😊Joker,Harley Quinn(has great stories and adventures),Two-Face,Riddler,Scarecrow(added him after seeing on the list here),Poison Ivy too. Perfect t number 1! Joker wants everything a little-torment Bruce, decimate Gotham and have fun. Everything a little. I agree we not knowing his name adds to his mystery. Mark Hamnil GOAT in animated series. Heath Ledger GIOAT in live action. Great video! 😀
Honorable mentions: 1. Catwoman (yes she's more of an antiheroine, but she was originally a villainess) 2. Harley Quinn (same as Catwoman) 3. Anarky 4. Prometheus 5. Deacon Blackfire 6. Firefly
Joker is indeed the best. Good to see a ranking that admits how catwoman is now regarded as an antihero/hero and not the 60s villain. She evolved for the better and is the best relationship for batman.
While I technically don't have a definite favorite, other mentions that didn't appear on this list include: Firefly (next to the Joker, he's arguably Batman's most destructive enemy and deserves to be in the movies due to how awesome his weapons are and his capacity for causing different kinds of explosions). Onomatopoeia (like the Court of Owls and Lady Shiva, he's become an iconic and dangerous figure to Batman in the short time since he was created and Batman has never officially bested him yet). KGBeast (he was infamously thought to have been buried alive by Batman due to his diplomatic immunity [a trait he shares with iconic Marvel villains Doctor Doom and Count Nefaria, in addition to his combat training and skills with different kinds of weapons]). **Red Claw (like the Phantasm, Mr. Freeze, and Harley Quinn, she first appeared in animated Batman media, and she arguably has everything like Batman's other rogues: an awesome costume, complete ruthlessness, brilliant tactical skills, and training with different kinds of weapons, gadgets, and technology. And since she's considered the world's most ruthless terrorist, she arguably deserves to appear in more Batman media, particularly the Matt Reeves universe due to how grounded she really is and is arguably as much of an international threat as Ra's al Ghul).

I'm very Happy to see BANE. get the Number 2 spot again. Bane is my most favorite Batman Villain most because his a better combat fighter then the Joker. His still Iconic! But, BANE is just Amazing on beating Batman.
Of course The Joker takes the top spot. Not to mention he's the one member of Batman's Rogue's Gallery that has revealed the limits of his own insanity. Sums it up in the DCAU with "I'm crazy enough to take on Batman, but the IRS? NO THANK YOU!" when it came to light he owed $137 million in taxes.

Other characters placed far higher than would seem deserved (Freeze, Bane, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow - not saying their bad characters, just that they're too high in the list), and a few are lower than they should be (Two-Face, Penguin, Ventriloquist/Scarface)
Of course, all of this is just in my opinion.
@@rdfrancis455 Yes, that’s all just your opinions.

Joker is the greatest comic villain ever. 💪
Joker will always be the best Batman villain
My two favorites are penguin and riddler
This video has got me to binge every Gotham episode
Batman has the best villains. They're better.
How about the "Top 30 Greatest Spider-Man Villains"?
I think they're working on that. It's inevitable.
Mad Hatter
1.joker
2.two face
3.riddler
Heath ledger's joker is in my top 10 movie villians of all time
Saying we need more Phantasm stories at 8:00 is like saying we need more Holiday stories.
Can you do Top 30 Greatest Spider-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Power Rangers Villains?
We need a realistic Batman movie where Hugo Strange is the main antagonist.
maybe in next live action
maybe in next live action
maybe in next live action
maybe in next live action
Onomatopoeia man underated needs to be talked about more
Am i the only one who thinks Firefly should also be on this list?
Joker is easily always number 1. But Heath Ledger's iteration as the Joker will always be in a league of his own. Rip the late great Heath Ledger 😢
The Joker is #1, I'm sure of it! Nobody beats The Joker! Well Harley Quinn is a close second especially for her Mister J, but still! The Joker is #1 and he's Batman's Greatest Enemy!🤩😈
The great top 5 (they've all been a menace for Batman from the Golden Age (40s) to the present day)
1. Joker
2. Penguin
3. Two-Face
4. Riddler

26. Professor Pyg
27. Lady Shiva
28. Catman
29 Maxie Zeus
Harleen Francis Quinzel AKA Harley Quinn.
Created by Paul Dini & Bruce Timm.
One of my top 3 favorite female DC characters of all time.
❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤
I only clicked to make sure mark hamill....i mean joker was number one lol. Have a great day to all even if you disagree
Joker scarecrow deathstroke riddler clayface mr freeze poison two face penguin and bane are my top 10
The Phantasm, Hugo Strange and even the Mad Hatter would make excellent additions to Matt Reeves' Batman universe.
Honorable mentions:
1. Catwoman (yes she's more of an antiheroine, but she was originally a villainess)
2. Harley Quinn (same as Catwoman)
3. Anarky
4. Prometheus
5. Deacon Blackfire
6. Firefly
Mr. Freeze is a Shakespearean tragedy. His story could be turned into the most epic Batman live film ever.
Batman Rogues Gallery is the Best.
And they deserves this Top 30 list.💯💯
Can you imagine Dr Strange, Professor Pyg, The Riddle, Joker and Hush teaming up?
You do realize, that, while Hugo Strange is a doctor, that's probably not the first character people will think of when you say Dr. Strange, right?
@@rdfrancis455 thank you for pointing out my mistake.
After watching the last 5 episodes, I think I'll bump up Farrell's Penguin to the number 2 spot.
1) Joker
2) Two Face
3) The Penguin
4) Mr Freeze
5) Ra’s Al Ghoul
The villains in this franchise are some of the best baddies of the whole world and reasons why Batman is awesome
WatchMojo Has Made Videos On Literally Everybody And Everything
Doctor Hugo strange is my favorite D.C. supervillain. I was first introduced to him by way of Gotham
Harley Quin!
Bane making number 2 is kinda crazy
Top 10 Greatest Wonder Woman Villains! Shazam Villains! Fantastic Four Villains! Thor Villains! Batman Anti-Heroes! DC Villain Teams! PLEASE?
1. Joker
2. Bane
3. Penguin
4. Mr freeze
5. Scarecrow
Just like with Spiderman Batman has a set of certain villains that we all come to love
Joker is indeed the best. Good to see a ranking that admits how catwoman is now regarded as an antihero/hero and not the 60s villain. She evolved for the better and is the best relationship for batman.
Joker is not only #1 vs. the Bat, but I think a case could be made for him being #1PERIOD.
While I technically don't have a definite favorite, other mentions that didn't appear on this list include:
Firefly (next to the Joker, he's arguably Batman's most destructive enemy and deserves to be in the movies due to how awesome his weapons are and his capacity for causing different kinds of explosions).
I've become a serious fan of Bane lately myself, mostly because of his muscles and strength. 💪💪👍👍
The pyromaniac firefly is up there for me

Two-Face is my favorite Batman villian and will always be. Poison Ivy is also top 5. Suprise Harley Wuinn wasn't on here.
Why do I think that if they brought Mad Hatter to live action, je'd be Johnny Depp? All they'd have to do is combine: Todd/ Hatter/ and Sparrow.
Top three was perfect

riddler being 7 is wild.,
as does dummy ad scarface being 30
poison ivy and two face over riddler. what?
My favorite Batman villain would have to be Ra’s al Ghul, because he’s a master martial artist and an expert swordsman.
I know Carmine Falcon Victor Zsasz,, Joe Chill The Penguin, The Scarecrow, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Mr Freeze, Ra's Al Ghul and The Joker. Hugo Strange I know of a bit and Deadshot I may know of a bit too, ClayFace as well and Killer Croc some familiarity.
The Court of Owls is DC's version of the Hellfire Club.
I'm very Happy to see BANE. get the Number 2 spot again. Bane is my most favorite Batman Villain most because his a better combat fighter then the Joker. His still Iconic! But, BANE is just Amazing on beating Batman.
this could easily have been a top 50 or top 75 list aswell
The original line at 27:00 is about how Ivy and Catwoman have both chosen "champions." Evident reason this adaptation changed it? Sheer misandry.
I hope we have top 30 Spiderman villains
In most rankings, the debate is about #2-#10.
The Joker is obviously number 1 but my favourite Batman villain is Mr. Freeze
Does #1 Suprise a SINGLE DAMM PERSON!?!?!😂😂
The Court of Owls should be higher, but that just my opinion
Edit: yes they’re my favourite Batman villain/s, yes I’m bias, yes I will stand by this
Of course The Joker takes the top spot.
Penguin>Joker>Zsasz>Riddler>Scarecrow are my favorites
#8 Scarecrow also invented the atom bomb but felt bad that the U.S. government used it.
Scarcrow
Joker will always be the Best. They're THE archenemies
Top 10 Greatest Teen Titnas Villains
The number of crazy villains on here makes me wonder why people still live in Gotham.
If y'all haven't read "a serious house on serious earth" go read it now the mad hatter and Zeus are terrifying.
ClayFace from the animated show is the best
Ah, yes, The Gregorian and Julien calendar I ever-so forgot about...
Forgot about time Diddy dressed up as the Joker
