I have a question that I'm not seeing an answer for I need a Quick Part to post a date 14 days out from today (whatever today’s date is) I have been trying to use FIELD > DATE, and then modifying the Field Code to update the date by 14 days with DATE (Set Delay +14) \@ "MMMM d, yyyy" But what I get is either today’s date, or it totally removes all of this text (there is only a single space). I have tried to use DATEADD, but that didn’t work either. Maybe I should use some other field than DATE? I have tried to Google, but none of the suggestions I have found have worked. (I have been using “How to calculate a date in Word Quick Parts?”) I am using Word through Share Point, and we are using Windows 10.
Hi Mira, yes you can. You will need all three on the page, so that you can select each one individually for storage. My suggestion is that in the storage process, that you create your own Category called Proposals, or whatever you feel would best describe these three proposal quick parts that you are storing. Creating categories for your content will make it easier to locate as your Quick Parts library grows. Mira, thank you for subscribing to my education channel. Stay tuned because I will creating new videos for this channel. I would be glad to know of any that you would like to see created. Can quick parts be stored off template doc and maybe in a central repository and pulled in from there? or must the be contained locally or with in a template?
Hi Michael, I apologize for the delayed response. Are you asking if the Quick Parts stored on your computer can be transferred to another computer? If so, the answer is yes, but that will require a video to explain. I will put that on my video creation list.
Hi when im replying to a customer my “insert” feature disappears so im unable to use quickparts but when i hit new email the insert feature is there….. help! ….thank you
Greetings, the Insert tab for quick parts is an option when you are in both compose mode and when you are in reply mode. It's available in multiple versions of Outlook. If you are using the Outlook Web app, it does not have the Quick Parts option.
Hi Erin, thank you for watching. I am sorry to hear the video sound wasn't clear on your side. I have a professional microphone, a Blue Yeti USB Microphone, the type that is used especially for Recording, Streaming, Gaming, Podcasting on PC and Mac. I did notice that I had the volume to low when I recorded this quick video. Sorry about that. Thanks again Erin, for visiting my channel.
