Great video, guy. All three looked great and can be left up to taste when it comes to video output on auto settings. That's actually a nice thing that DJI does: no two Mavic models have the same look. I'll bet you were happy to have that canopy there--would have been a struggle without it. I've given up on the mid-day brightness and purchased the Goggles.
Just FYI, I was flying my mini yesterday in gusting winds. I got the warnings and so reduced my altitude and was still getting warnings. I switched from cine to sports mode while leaving the drone hovering.. Twice during the hover the wind was strong enough to actually jerk around the gimble! First time I ever experienced that! Did return to home slowly and at the last second before touchdown the wind gust moved it a good foot away from point of touchdown!

Great video as always Marcus! Thank you for your efforts. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to put these videos together and it is appreciated! The mini’s struggle with the higher winds is relatable. I have to forgo flying if the winds are much above 18 mph or so. In your opinion, what are the upper limits of wind speed that the mavic air 2 can handle? I am hoping that purchasing the mavic air 2 would get me out flying more on windy days than what I can with the mini.

Aware the zoom and Air 2 are a little more robust than the Mini so handle the wind better and the 4K makes a bit of a difference but I can tell you have a soft spot for the little guy. I also have the Mini. One day I may upgrade but still so much in the Mini to be happy with for now. I also agree with @Jaq Travel's comment regarding the water colour. Were these flights all with the same ND filter type / or all with none (so like 4 like)?
You had the big three out for the day. Great location to fly, and beautiful blue skies. You really see the difference in video quality from the Mini, as compared to other Mavic’s. But the camera quality between the MA2 and M2Z was to close to call. And it goes with out saying that the MA2 and M2Z have much better transmission range due to Occu-Sync 2. Nice testing of each drones features and performance level. I think the Mavic Air 2 might off the best bang for the buck.
Nice comparison Marcus. I thought the Mini held it's own with the video quality. I thought it had the more pleasing exposure, overall. HOWEVER, I thought the video from the OSMO Pocket Sara was using had the best images of all, nice blue sky, blue water and great contrast with the white clouds. LOL 🤣 I know your not a filter guy, but I would love to see that same location (with some good clouds) shot with your MA2 and and 16NDPL filter, compared to no filter. I live in So Cal, and we never get any good clouds!!!!! Anyway, thanks for sharing and good to see Sara is not ignoring you today 👍👍

For all the americans watching.... 8 meters/ sec =17.89 mph 25 meters is 82 feet LOL i hate math. ( so i googled it)😂😂😂 Pretty wild how the fly app knew that was a boat. Now if DJI will let it cache audio in the next update that would be swell. Perhaps they wont allow sport mode when flying backwards?...i know its also disabled when using different flight modes. Im in awe of that area...what a great place to fly....You need a boat Marcus...so I can borrow it to go camping there 😂😂 Lucky peak is gorgeous...lucky Marcus😂

Yes, the only downside to the Mini is flying in windy conditions. You would not regret the MA2, it is amazing!

Ha! Yes, Sara was having nearly as much fun as I was. 😎 It was the GoPro Hero 8 that she was using. I had it set to 2.7K 30FPS.

I use metric most of the time, just as the US military does.
Too keep it close enough, just multiply meters times 3. It's actually 3.28, but close enough when watching TH-cam videos
