I watched the Drone Nation show today which you hosted for Ron Brown. You sited the Lite+ there as being a worthy drone. Your flight in this video illustrates this. Although I am considering myself a drone enthusiast, I must stick to a budget. I will stay in the DJI family and dream about the Mavic 3 Classic. For now, I will fly happily in the reality of my Mini 2 and Mini 3 Pro. Cheers from Wisconsin, buddy, where blizzard conditions are on the way.

That was a good decision to go with HDR over 60fps. The footage was awesome, the canyon is even more beautiful when it’s snow covered. Great flight, the Autel Lite Plus is a good camera drone, without all the issues of Nano. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Marcus, a very nice flight of your Autel Lite+, thank you for sharing the video with us. I would get the Lite+ if it had mission capability like what is available with my EVO ll drones. It pains me every time I see that you miss with precision landing. There's a secret to getting precision landings, use a ROUND landing pad. Most current drones with precision landing look for a round pad, not square.

Amazing flight & video I just happened to stumble upon this today! So I have as my first drone the exact same - Autel Lite+! Excited to get out and fly.... Also I have my Pilot 107 license!! Finally, I'm located in so California, however I know exactly where Lucky Peak is as I've lived in Boise before--go Broncos! - and have been to Lucky Peak many a times... Loved seeing it with snow! Thanks for sharing the process to get approval up there to fly, as I'll definetely head there w/my drone on my next trip to Idaho!
WOW.. sick an amazing view all covered in snow. No doubt that drone has an amazing camera. I love mine and am slowly learning more manual camera settings and let me tell you.... Impressive. Thanks for showing us this
I started out with DJI and bought many of their drones but there is something refreshing about the Autel Experience and this drone has its issues but the Lite+ gets beat-up a little more than it deserves these days. Especially at the new lower price.
I'm sure you already know by now but if you had allowed it to land it would've auto-corrected itself and landed on the pad! You bailed too soon! Nevertheless; another great flight! I went and did a test flight yesterday without color grading etc. Just wanted to make sure everything still worked after the firmware update! I may fly today before work! But I went a little ways and a mile out and RTH did exactly the same as yours. But I said let me see if it will still correct itself like the old version before the firmware update. And it got low then auto-correct moved over and landed. Of course, I was excited 😂😂😂. But pissed I didn't record it! So if you fly it again! Let it hover above the pad for a few seconds then take off. It may say home point detected or not. I can't remember. Nevertheless you will know it will tell you or show you on the screen. I love this drone! I kinda want to evo 2pro as a second drone. But I'll just stick with Evo Lite Plus. No reason for me to purchase another at this moment. But I want to though lol. But I'm not 😂😂😂

Fyi for some reason, the Sky app is no longer in the app store if you use an Android. This explains why I never got the firmware before this recent one. The last one I had to email Autel to get it. This time I uninstalled the app and realized it's no longer in the app store. So I had to use the QR code and upload it from the Autel site. Not sure about iPhone users. 🤔. But Android for sure! They did make it go a little faster at 42mph. Before it was 40mph top speed. Most of the updates were for those who live in the EU 🤷🏾♂️. The other updates not anything to get excited about. But she works better than she did before and I'm happy.
