Awesome footage of the crane in operation. I work on and with theses every day. The company I work for we audit the cranes function them to make sure they are 100 percent before we ship them to the customer to go to work. We ship all of grove/ mantiwoc cranes
Those guys are lucky, I don't miss being the only ground guy on a crane job.

Really cool video ! I cant imagine being that guy up in those trees. Hopefully, he's paid really well! 😊 Are u allowed to share the total cost of this project ? Curious how much something like this costs to hire out, gotta be super expensive with all the equipment and labor.
Around here in Michigan, a crane that size is about $400/hr plus permit and fuel surcharge. Usually have a 4 hour minimum. Clock starts when they leave their yard and stops when they get back. Tree crew with equipment is about the same per hour.
Cranes around here are hourly like stated above, this was an expensive project but a drop in the bucket compared to the rotten, hollow, leaning tree falling from town property onto the home behind that wall.
Technology today just awesome and the new approach to doing old jobs that just cut the time in half to get the job done in a safe manner!

I used to deliver HVAC units to those guys both at their yard and on site. Bridgeport, Connecticut.
That was great! It must have cost a fortune but the only way it could be done.
Yeah, it probably took an act of Congress to pay for the job!
Compared to what it would’ve cost to pay the guys hourly to drag everything out by hand the crane was cheap! 😂

Baumalight is out getting some new goodies installed…👀 This particular job was for my full time job so I can’t use personal equipment in this scenario!
What was the vine ? Poison ivy ?
Looked like a beautiful maple there. Shame had to go, if it was healthy.
It was healthy from a far, however, in reality it was leaning, rotten, and hollow to the point of raccoons living in it.
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
