Please note that saying " it like grabbing human bones and removing it", is not cool at all, it's totally barbaric. Please never use that phrase in your videos again. Thanks
It's amazing to see how old tires, both small and large, are collected and recycled in South Korea. The process of separating tires from their wheels and removing the wire cords inside is so intricate. The shredded tires are then used as fuel for cement factories, which is a brilliant way to recycle and reduce waste. The sheer power of the machines used to shred the tires and extract the wires was impressive. It's incredible to witness how something as common as old tires can be transformed into a valuable resource for cement production. This video gave me a whole new appreciation for recycling and the innovative ways we can repurpose materials!
I am a shredder company in China, we can also make the machine and blades in the video, the price is lower, the quality is the same, may help you expand the market...
Thank u for the videos, quite interesting compared to the UK.... Interesting also how you recycle!
beautifully filmed and in love with 'no background music'. thank u:)
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed my video!
Which process was your favorite moment btw?
I agree. No background music is best. I like hearing the sounds of the machines.
tu sei bella, vieni a vivere in Europa, quelle come te trovano subito lavoro come dame di compagnia, e fai parte anche tu del miliardo d'oro
@@Factory_Monster You should score! ;)
No background music ! Bravo and thank you !!!
Even sell for recapping, but I agree that some of the tires did look like they had some life left, but you dont know what other damage they have, like sidewall damages
The process of using shredded tires as a fuel source at a cement plant is used in Canada here as well. They use it to fuel the drier (or dryer) section. It's like a huge clothes drier but very long. It tumbles the damp cement along its length, while moving it from one end to the other. They are VERY secretive about the whole process!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Insufficient part of my video is getting better with this kind of precious comments! Thanks a lot!
Which part was your favorite process btw?
They are secretive because the pollution, that is why.
Usually it's the rotary kiln. Feedstock to make cement (usually powdered limestone), plus tires (added fuel), goes in one end. Clinker comes out the other. Clinker is ground in a ball mill with gypsum added to make Portland cement - the binder that goes into make concrete (Portland cement + sand + aggregate (rocks), .
Yep, don't want those Italians learning how to make cement.
@@fredinit How do you know this? I thought the process was a closely guarded secret.

Dies ist kein Reifenrecycling. Die Reifen dienen lediglich als billiger Brennstoff. Nur die Stahldrähte können wieder eingeschmolzen werden.
waste2energy... reduces gas/oil consumpion...
Very German comment!
*Thank you... easy to also watch with out the music too. These are the hard working (manual type) people are the backbone to any country. Without them, then each country would be suffering even more than they are today (2024) 🙂.*
Where do you see hart working people? The most of the hard work doing maschines. 🤔😉
Fascinating! Thanks for filming.
Yeah. Granddad taught me this 60 years ago. We used the whole tire or big ones dliced into 2, 1/2 moons. The trouble is the thick black exhaust. Lots if heat. Easy to store and handle. Thank you. Stay safe.
😊 I'm glad to see a use for old tires. Getting them gone totally has been a big problem for years. Good video I actually learned a little and I'm an old man 😂
We'll be getting very many more scrap tyres soon from all the EV milk floats that are ruining our roads and the economy.
That truly is a amazing process .l will have to watch it a few more times 👍👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇲
I almost didn’t watch it to the end. I felt TIRED!
Get it?
Or in England they would say tyred. Or in the Middle East they would say I'm watching this tire documentary from the city of Tyre.
Say, that was pretty good! Heard the one about the chicken crossing the road, rolling in mud, and crossing back again? It was a dirty double-crosser! ;)
As long as you have the "smoke stack scrubbers" to filter the smoke i think this is better than burying the tires and waiting hundreds of years for them to break down.
Not scrubbers, basically the carbon-laden partially burned smoke gets burned a second time and more energy is extracted from it.
Excellent job ! 👍
Great report !
Huge props for the maintenance guy at the end with his locks and hasps on his belt!
I always enjoy watching your videos. They are a fascinating insight to your country. I am so impressed with it! And your videos are well filmed, edited and paced. I love your gentle humour too!
Amazing filming keep up the good work 😊

a great video and the answer to the tire problem in the world.

The ashes of the burnt tires is the secret and one component for making cement.
If we made the tread higher like the old days we wouldn't have to change as often, I can remember back in the day I buy seconds with 50 to 70 % left ,now that's what a new tire looks like, shrinkflation
Not entirely, I worked at a tire shop for several years from the mid 90's to the mid 2000's, there is a ton of technology in tires today and the crazy sizes that are more about how the car looks with 18" to 22" wheels than making practical wearing tires, a big part of making the tread cab thinner is to get the tire lighter to balance and ride better, old tires may have only been 18 to 25 inches around, now many are 25 to 35 inches, and people complain more now than ever about ride and vibration.
All regular auto tires have 11/32 of rubber tread the same as it was in 1950and before.
@@jamesweinzierl7399 Aber nicht die PKW Reifen. Früher war das Profil einfach dicker. Fertig!
This is a very interesting program, looking forward to the next show. Jerry wilcut
Some of tyres were in good shape.
There's a shop near me that JUST sells used tires.
It's possible they have sidewall punctures. I have unfortunately thrown out several newer tires due to having sidewall punctures
Some of the better looking tires probably were too old for use.
Tyres get old and not effective even if not used
Super, however, the word "reuse" would be more accurate, as "recycle" implies that you can reduce the amount of raw materials needed, as nobody can "recycle" a tire. 💙 T.E.N.
A lot of the automobile tires looked almost unused and could have been recycled. I guess they waste such tires in Korea, just like much of the rest of the world.

cement is not from tyre waste!
tyre is fuel for drying the cement...

Great video, thank you, but it is still unclear how the metal leftovers are extracted. Is it done on cement factory during burner cleaning?
Exactly what I was thinking. Burning is not recycling. 😊

THANK YOU FOR SHARING SUCH A INTERESTING VIDEO. 😊

Wow I've been a heavy truck mechanic for over 30 years and never seen what happens to the tires. I do know that they "Recap" tires. Not as much as before and I think that has something to do with the cost and the danger. People see part of the tire all over the side of the road but in reality they make millions and millions of them and it's such a small present that failed. Anyway I wanted to say that I can't believe how fast the wires come out and super clean. One would think that it would have rubber all stuck in the wires. Ty for putting stuff like this up for the world to see. I will definitely be on the look out for the the bailing of the steel wires 👍🇨🇦

Lastiklerin yakılması doğaya zarar vermiyor mu? Video için teşekkürler.
The contamination is basically the same if they burn tires or heavy fuel, but if the factory has the proper exhaust filters it can be pretty clean.
Umarım yeterli filtre vardır.@@ruben_balea
The cement companies generally use coal for cement production, which is from natural sources. They use these waste tires to reduce the use of coal. By doing in this way, they are contributing the environment protection.
Nothing waste any more, Amazing technology.

Here in Arizona we use recycled rubber from tires and blend it with asphalt for freeways. It lasts long and is more quiet than concrete. It does make a difference.
