  • In short, go into bevel modifier tab under geometry section, change sharp to arc. You will have your smooth shading model.

    Ooo i get it now, so thats what it means to use arcs to not get tri gons while beveling. thanks for the info! Also. wouldn't this make pentagons in our mesh, I replicated this and patch and arc in both outer and inner options there end up creating pentagons in the inside of the corners
