Hi guys! its Tristan, I am planning on making more videos on my channel that will go deeper into music production so you guys can continue learning! www.youtube.com/@Tristan_Willcox I'm also launching a discord community called "Synchronic" with 100's of professional artist and also people just starting so that you can learn and collaborate with others, we will have music production challenges, games, events, workshops, and group collaborative projects. I'll be there too! discord.gg/S8jfqQWYwK Also this is my Patreon if you would like more free downloads and support me so i can keep giving stuff away for free! :) www.patreon.com/TristanWillcox Id love to answer any questions you guys got below, and hope you guys enjoy the course. Thanks!!!
This dude has taught me a lot of music production to be honest, I can't thank him enough, I'm not a professional musician, but it's my hobby and his 2 tutorials gave me a lot of knowledge on how to make music with FL studio, his style of teaching is very amazing, a great tutor.
@@NachiketCommentary As I said music is my hobby, I don't make any money out of it, I just make 16 bar loops mostly and have like 40 projetcs files in my laptop.
If you want to enhanced your skill in music production I would recommend of the the tutorial by In The Mix to learn everything about Mixing and Mastering and Sound Designing, and for enhancing your skill in general on how to make better chord/melody, I would recommend Alex Rome.... He doesn't use Fl studio much but other softwares... but if you follow and understand what he is doing and what he want to teach... you will definitely see a drastic change in your projects
@@Ddev_G I follow everyone, in the mix is more about mixing and effects while Alex is more about EDM and theory and then a little bit of effects too, but mainly theory, I like to watch their videos.
It's quite helpful, because sometimes I'm making an app and want to add some BGM without thinking about copyright, or using too common NCS music. This channel is not about programming but also asset creation. Still related can be for games, web etc.

Ive watched his previous tutorial for beginners and followed along with the commands. I learned SO MUCH and it was so fun. I think the hardest part of learning the program is exactly putting into practice everything at once, feels very overwhelming, but when you follow along, the workflow starts falling into place. Thank you so much!!
yeah, exactly, i am so thanful for him, i found him days ago and i'm still working on a song i started with him, but the mixing part and EQing is like so hard for me, 'cause i don't seem to be getting the sound i want at last
This is really good. I've tried to learn FL studio and Ableton multiple times over the years, but I always get lost. This is the first course that's actually getting me somewhere. Thanks a lot man, I'm gonna check out your patreon
Thank you Tristan. Thank you so much! It was really fun to learn from you, You are an awesome Human Being. Hope you Endeavor everything you dream of. Take care and Happy New Year!
So far I'm in chapter 3 and I'm absolutely loving this tutorial, everything is explained in a way that is really user to understand. Thank you for making this!
Damn, Tristan. I can't thank you enough for this. I'm a long time user of FL Studio, and I'm learning so many new things that take me to the next level. You are a blessing.
Thank you so much for this! Such an awesome course. Watching your workflow was essential to me since I am vaguely familiar with FL Studio. I just didn't know how to begin and would always lose my way just messing around. I would endlessly watch videos about others' workflows. For those struggling with the LABS subscription, I was able to follow along to his LABS part with the built in DirectWave which is also a sampler (for everything besides the orchestral stuff... probably still instruments in there, but it's harder to navigate than LABS). I had to set up some instruments, but was able to do that in the program. I will say, I have paid for it, so I'm not sure if the sounds I got inside the program are available for trial users. There are probably other advantages to a sampler like that, but you could also follow along by just using the piano roll with a sound from his freebies. LET'S BOOMJU! 🐇
When i downloaded LABS, mine looks differently than yours. It is green instead of white and I have to manually download any instruments I want to use. Why is this?
Hey, at the beginning of the Tutorial you mention your Patreon having the free sample pack, but as of time of writing this [Sept 10th] it is, in fact, requiring paid membership.
You'll need to go to "more plugins" options and search for both Labs and Vital, then click on the star button which will be shown right before the starting of the plugin name to add it to your default browser, after that... the next time you search for plugin you will not need to repeatedly go for more plugins option
Can someone please help me? I installed Vital but when I try and open it in FLStudio is says I can’t use it and to make sure the plugin is installed properly. I made sure it was installed inside the folder of FLStudio and that did not work. I uninstalled and re installed in the same drive as FLStudio and none of those worked. I want to start producing but on the first step I failed. Please help me
I cannot seem to find vital anywhere, not even fl studio store. I have owned the producer edition with all plugins and instruments for a few years now. where can i find vital?
LABS says my subscription has expired? Won't let me use it? I've just signed up... anyone else have this issue? Any recommendations for an alternative to LABS? Could I follow along the course with something like Serato Sample?
Not entirely but recent Fl studio versions(since 21 I guess...) does support Python Scripting, so you can like create your own scripts to generate chord/melodies
