I have a few teenaged nieces who just want gift cards & I think the snow globe makes gift card giving much more personal! 🥰 For my DIY gifts, I love making lip scrubs and body butters.

We have discovered a ranch flavored Chex mix. It calls for Goldfish and round pretzels. I always have a large container of it at every family gathering!!
As for plants, I have learned to propagate new plants from the ones I already own. I paint DT or thrifted planters and give them as gifts! But my favorite DIY gifts are garlands, with different themes. Last year I learned how to make caps with pom pom tops out of yarn and toilet paper rolls. I added these with beads, and hanging labels that had my grandchildren's names on them. This was such a cute gift to give when we arrived to spend Christmas with them!

I've been making Christmas-themed ribbon necklaces with 9/10mm ribbon and pony beads. They're really cute, and I seal the ends with fabric glue.
My favorite was the twix tree!!! I think I will get some friends together to make these 🌲🌲🌲
I love the money wreath and candy tree! I think I’m going to merge the two and put candy and money on the tree for my son. He’s 30 and still a bachelor so it would be a great decoration for his place during the holidays. I usually give him money but it would be a fun way to give it!

I love the original idea and I think the comment idea is brilliant! I am going to use this for my two grandsons actually and they are only seven and eight. But all they want is stuff for their video games.

I love the money wreath! Just a tip for cutting something from any paper....place the object you are tracing on one corner of the paper and then when you cut it out you will have a bigger piece of scrap paper to use on another project.

The money wreath is an excellent way to make giving money more personal and fun. I made a bouquet of $5 bills for my niece’s wedding shower. I live in Canada so the blue $5 bills made a fun addition to the something blue theme!

Hello ...I love the money wreath and Snow Globe with gift card and Candy Tree 🎄and will definitely be making them for my daughter and son-n-law. When I was growing up in the 50s our Homemaking class was given recipe booklets from the Electric company and a recipe for Chex mix and Nestles crunch bars. Be careful not to use (Hot) oils, if using pure essential oils… Tree idea is super cute!… would also be fun to try to find star shaped suckers for the top, just shorten the stick, add glue & push in the foam.💗

Costers with lettering without special paper or a heat press. Feed wax papers with a piece of printer paper through your ink jet printer (mirror image) and use iron to heat set. Work every time. 😊

I love them all but the money wreath is my very most favorite!❤ So perfect. If you were spending alot you could even do a small wreath of credit cards to all there favorite gas snd fast food places. I also had the idea that a sucker in the top of the candy tree would be super cute.or even a sucker ornament for their other tree

The personalized picture ornament are a great idea. They would also make great coasters IF attached and coated with the waterproof Mod Podge. The coasters might also make a great base for: a) actual multilayered decoupaged ornaments; b) painted, fabric or paper covered pieces turned into shaker (card type) ornaments; c) a collection of themed ornaments i.e.
birds in nature (greenery fabric covered background on coasters, greenery, branches, mini pinecone accessories around small decorative birds ... or squirrels, or racoons or .....)

I didn't know if I would like your channel but I do , You are extremely relatable not like a lot of these creators in this genre who are trying to be fake and show off their homes and all they have . It's like they are trying to create some kind of Norman Rockwell life and their only in their 20s . I love this channel learned a lot .

A COOL Gift idea I did this year is to make firestarters out of pinecones by Tyin a cotton thread for a wick to them and dipping them in wax.
I made baskets by weving pieces of toiletpaper rolls together and wrapping them in cylofane paper
Loved the mone wreath…great for my grandsons’ bedroom doors when I visit.

I have a quick question about making shower steamers. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I love the idea of making them, but is there a safety consideration about which fragrances or oils to use? It's going to be atomized into the air and I'm just wondering if there are particular scents or oils to avoid or ones that are best and safest to use. I've used the commercially prepared shower steamers before and really liked them but I love the idea of making them myself. I just want them to be safe for myself or whoever I give them to. Any suggestions appreciated! I'm sure Brambleberry or another company like that would have ones that are clearly listed for that purpose but it's tricky because of course you can't smell them before you buy them. It would be nice to have a "local" option or general guidance.
