You and your staff & volunteers are truly angels on earth. I have been rescuing stray cats on my own for years & they truly bring joy to my life as do your videos. Happy animals make me happy. Hope my $100.00 helps with your mission to shut down these horrible fur farms.
I'm a senior. I'm so glad gift baskets are starting to get away from Christmas mugs, hot chocolate mixes, and candy. I couldn't eat most of it anyway. Plus all those cups where a hassle to donate. These baskets are more practical. And I personally like the pasta basket. And that little coffee maker would be a fabulous gift for a senior as well. Gifts like food, blankets, towels and socks are always welcome.
You’ve brought back the basket gifts to a new generation of crafters, thx. With the economy at its worst, it’s good to learn you can give meaningful gifts at budget prices. Love your graphics!
I have been giving gift baskets like this for years. They are fun to make especially when you do a theme. People love to receive them as gifts. Your baskets are so cute - love them.
Hubby and I just purchased a B&B. I was thinking about making baskets for guests to either purchase or are gifts as part of their retreat/event packages. I've subscribed. Thank you so much for the wonderful inspirational ideas!! You're a wonderful help to get the imagination going!
see, this is what i’m looking for!!! when searching for gift ideas for when i don’t know what to gift someone, this is the kind of thing i spend hours trying to find. thank you!
I used to do this at Christmas, making up baskets is so much fun. and it is a small gift with a big impact. not very many people go through the trouble of making baskets much unless they are pre made for stores. i think i am going to give baskets for Christmas this year. Thank you Patti i love your Channel. Always great to see you love you too. See you in the next one.
Thank you so much Tracy. I love giving gift baskets. I accumulate items all year for my friends and family and usually have enough to do all my baskets at Christmas time.
Those baskets would make great prizes at fundraising events! I've been knitting mini Santas etc using scraps so would add one of them. I think I'd add a pen to those with the notebook. Must remember not to watch your vids late at night! It's just after 1.30am and now my brain is in overdrive with different basket themes lol 🇬🇧x
Thank you, these would be great for a fundraiser. I wish I could knit, I would love to learn. Wow, you were up late, my brain would be on overdrive at 1:30 am too. LOL
Patti these bring back memories. I have always worked in and around the floral industry. It's how I paid my way through college. Working toward my masters in social work, I worked as a director of a 30 adolescent foster care program. It was too heartbreaking and way too much county paperwork. I eventually was drawn back into flowers full time. I eventually went on to become a member of American Institute of Floral Designers. I owned and managed many shops even teaching positions. Back in my day, florists, were the go to for gift baskets. Mostly fruit in the beginning but eventually turned into what it is today. Anyway, my life story, I love the instant gratification I get when I create. Painting, crafts, writing, decorating and helping others find solutions. I know you get paid to do this but you are the very BEST teacher. I've improved a lot over the last year thanks to you. My crafts keep my mind off my ills. God bless you Patti! Anna
Thank you so much Anna. I love making things. I know that being a social working is heartbreaking. I was a foster mother, and adopted my son Lars who was one I my foster kids. That is awesome that you did Floral Design. I wanted to learn how to make a bow and so I enrolled in a floral design class. I really just wanted to make the bows and lucky for me it was taught the first day. I wish I had had time to complete the full course. Maybe someday. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Thank you for bringing Christmas giving back to those who may have thought gifts were no longer affordable. Your presentations ramped it up so that the inexpensive didn't look cheap. 😍
Great video! About 20 some years ago I did "movie night" baskets (when there was still movie rental stores) with popcorn 🍿 bowls, video rental card, a kool-aid pack. TFS! Have a blessed day! Debbie ❤😊
I’m a year late finding this video 😅 but you’re so good at making those baskets!!! You’re so right, those little embellishments really make it perfect! Can’t wait for videos this year!!
I’ve always loved making gift baskets! At one time I was actually selling gift baskets, and at Easter one person paid as much as over sixty dollars for two personalized Easter baskets!
@@danasandberg6619 I first add up the cost of the basket, and all of the contents. Then I add the cost of gas to go buy it. Next is the cost of any embellishments, such as ribbon, plastic or cellophane wrap, etc. Finally I I figured in a fee for however long it took me to make it, and then a delivery fee. I never had any complaints in the price of my baskets, and everyone seemed quite satisfied. Too bad I didn’t keep doing it, but I was working full time, and raising four kids at the time. I’m thinking about actually starting a business doing that later in my life if I’m still capable.
This is a year old, but it is still very nice to get ideas for inexpensive gifts. I was thinking while you were assembling them, how you shopped for the items in each basket? Did you make a list of what you wanted? Or randomly shop for ideas and small articles to put in baskets? You purchased from so many different places. I just cant figure out how you were so organized in knowing what would fit and what theme you would want. I was feeling overwhelmed in knowing what to get and where, for each basket. I might have to draw ideas on a paper to see what would work. You made it look so easy, like you were in a store w/items to go in each gift. I would love to do it, but am not as creative as you must be. I guess I could make a list of what you have in each gift. This was a very nice video. Thank you for sharing.😊
Fun to watch your creativity. I made a few gift baskets in the past. The most impressive one I ever made was a large one for a 50th anniversary. It was color co-ordinated and they loved it.
I actually did this I made one for my teenage granddaughter with bath and make up essentials and made my daughter's with kitchen goods everyone was so happy and I was happy to see that they enjoyed their baskets.
These DIY gift ideas are amazing! Great year round for birthdays and other special occasions too! I especially love the way you stretched some of your gift items for multiple recipients. Because now that each item is $1.25 at Dollar Tree every 4 items cost $5 That’s why I try to buy ready made gift baskets & trays out of season or After the holidays when they are deeply discounted. If they contain perishable items, like food, I just replace those items with fresher ones, or something else. Happy holidays. Thanks again for sharing 😊
I love alot of the ideas. I don't personally like gifting dishes normally, but cups are an exception as most people have a few extra cups. I like the shrink wrap - it makes it nice, and clean.
I liked all of these gifts baskets and appreciate your eye for snagging items at variety of stores. I'm thinking one of the last ideas with the blanket and socks will find it's way to a few friends this season. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
Hi Patti! I have watched so many gift basket videos and yours had been the BEST!, really great ideas and I LOVED how you presented them!! I appreciate you sharing your ideas and inspiration, I got some awesome ideas for some tough people on my list!! ~Amy (Lewes, De)
I absolutely love gift basket giving! It’s my go-to every year. For a little more expensive ones, I make a Lobster themed basket with a gif card to live lobster delivery or a meat lovers basket with a gift card to Omaha Steaks. Add all the nice accessories for each and voila! Trying to keep it fresh each year I am always looking for new ideas. I do travel quite a bit so this year I am doing destination themed baskets. Thank u so much for some great ideas!
That is awesome. I will have to check the lobster idea out. Great idea. Destination themed is great too. Gift baskets are so much fun to create. Thanks, Patti
Oh Patti these are so so cute ideas, the little coffee pot idea would be awesome for someone that just moved out on their own and Loves coffee . I Love then all , maybe next year when I am fully recovered I can make some of these. Thanks for sharing all of your mind blowing ideas with us. Hugs from Ephrata. Hope your ankle is better.❤💚🙏❤🤗
Thank you so much Roberta. The coffee one would be a great one for a new move in. I hope that you are continuing to recover and that you are up and around soon. My ankle is a little better, but still having to wear the boot. Ugh. Have a great weekend.

Patti, you blessed us 3 ways in one video. Very creative ideas! Very creative packaging, and by including where you purchased what you used, including the prices. Thank you!
The cake in a cup idea is a great gift for singles, college students, and seniors who want cake, but don’t want to bake. Maybe combine this with their favorite drink mix.
Such great ideas! With nieces & nephews with young children, I especially like the "pasta" basket(s.) A little can go a long way, plus the basket presentation is so fun! Thank you
These gifts are beautiful and would be a great side business to create for business gifts. I have always managed to give DIY gifts for under $3 each. It is quite a challenge, but I either give nothing to all but a few or I give just a little something to dozens as a way to say they mean enough to me to spend time to make something for them. I don't give sweets--sugar (Halloween candy. Thanksgiving desserts and Christmas goodies) contributes to the increase in winter illness. I save pretty jars, shop after Christmas sales and look for bargains all year. I start knitting and researching new ideas immediately after Christmas so I can work on them all year. I always have something ready to give when I hear someone had a birthday, too.
Thank you Mary. You are such a caring person. I know you are greatly appreciated. I'm an after Christmas shopper to. I accumulate things all year for Christmas. Merry Christmas.
These baskets came out awesome! Thoughtful, useful and inexpensive. You could make a few extras in case you have unexpected guests and need a quick gift!
I make care/ everyday baskets for my older grown children with toilet paper p towels dish soap laundry soap etc they luv them
That's a great idea. Those are items they can always use.
These are amazing. I love getting them, and love making them.
That's awesome, thank you so much.

They sold out of them and removed them from Amazon. I am so sorry.
Well the baskets are nice but … our economy is not at its worst. Lol
I’m so happy you found 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
@ Gizmo, Definitely!!! And with all the illegals coming in, it’s going to get worse!
The single serve coffee maker basket would also be great for a college student in a dorm.
Absolutely. Great idea.
Or give single serve to a senior that loves coffee but has a hard time getting around. I know I would love that basket. I love that basket idea!
My heart melted when I saw that little dog’s ear appear.
Aww, thank you so much.
Me too! I zoomed in ! So cute!
I did gift baskets for 30 years. Always a hit.
They are a hit, I love making them.

Thanks Robin. I'm a visual learner too. Happy Holidays.
I love all of your ideas. But my favorite one is with the blanket, perfect for a teenager or college student.
Yes, definitely. Thanks, Patti
I would love to receive any of those gift baskets! ❤
Some of these are perfect for our Baskets of Blessings ministry that our church is doing. Thank you so much for the ideas!

I love making and receiving gift baskets. These are beautiful and simple. Thank you so much ❤.
You are so welcome! I love making them too.
When my grandson was I first grade I showed him how to make them. He loved being able to cook himself a cake.
That's awesome Ellen. This is the first time I have made them. They are so good.
